Rejection of Sim4Life draft

This draft for an article on Sim4Life is for wiki-linking to list of computer simulation software. The description of Sim4Life does not sound more "like an advertisement" than other entries in the list. I am removing the YouTube video ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TcUABglbxr0&ab_channel=ZurichMedTechAG) because it is not independent, although it is a good introduction to the platform. References 1 and 2 are to the pages at the independent Swiss government funding agency about 2 separate projects that were that competitively funded to support development of the software. Many of the other Sim4Life citations are to independent research papers -- not written by scientists at ZMT -- in which the software was integral to the obtaining the research results being reported, not just "trivial mentions" as a tool. I am also reviewing all citations and seeking ones that might be more acceptable. Guidance is welcome. Please check some of the other entries in the list of computer simulation software and reconsider acceptance. PLBounds ( talk) 13:29, 18 March 2024 (UTC) reply

@ PLBounds This is the improvement we want, you have done great ‎reducing unreliable/independent to the subject citations and fixed whatever went wrong on the tone of the article, Since you resubmitted it for reviews to decide, I'll leave it for thier view ANUwrites 07:11, 19 March 2024 (UTC) reply
You still need to adress this...
Sim4Life V8.0 is also available as Sim4Life.web – which is integrated with the desktop version – is implemented in the cloud and can be used without installation.

S4Llite, a web version of Sim4Life that is free-of-charge for students, was released in February 2023 to facilitate team-learning and online collaboration on limited size projects with classmates and teachers. S4Llite is powered by o²S²PARC[11], which was developed as part of the 'Stimulating Peripheral Activity to Relieve Conditions' (SPARC)[12] program of the National Institutes of Health Common Fund.....

Remember, more than one reviewer tagged the article as an advertisement. You need to resolve this WP:COI issue within the article. ANUwrites 08:42, 19 March 2024 (UTC) reply
Thanks very much! I have edited the problematic sentence and done a bit more trimming, and added the COI statement on the talk page. I had already added the paid contribution disclaimer, which I thought was sufficient.
Question: is there a way to move the COI and paid contribution statements to the top of the talk page? (I will try to find the answer in the meantime...) Never mind, found it...

Draft for Agnes von der Vierbecke

Have added more sources from German newspapers, and re-written the narrative in a simpler style. I don't know how accurate the Dortmunders' version of her story is, and in fact, the more I look this over, the more I'm thinking this person may well have been an innocent scapegoat. In any event, the article is now a bit more balanced. Do you think it is ready to go? (And yes, I do speak German, so I know what those sources say.) Oliveleaf4 ( talk) 03:53, 21 March 2024 (UTC) reply

Hello @ Oliveleaf4, I had some time to pass through the references added and they were all covering Pfefferpotthast (pepper and festival) and only slight mentions of Agnes von der Vierbecke in those articles which are supposed to only source their connection to the subject but not the entire biography. Could you add some more references that are independent to Agness von der Vierbecke?. ANUwrites 05:15, 21 March 2024 (UTC) reply
Hi ANU, I'm not sure I'll find sources that would satisfy these requirements before the time limit expires. The archival sources don't appear to be digitized, and I don't have time to travel to Dortmund. So I'll let it sit until the review period expires in the hope that something turns up. Oliveleaf4 ( talk) 02:13, 22 March 2024 (UTC) reply
Also, I don't understand what you mean by "independent." Oliveleaf4 ( talk) 02:14, 22 March 2024 (UTC) reply

Academic bios

Hello friend. Regarding this AFC decline comment, As the article is a biography of the living person, we expect seeing references that are independent to the subject.

Just be aware that the independent reference rules are relaxed for professors. Lots of professor articles survive AFD that are mostly cited to the professor's own papers.

With an h-index of 4, they do not pass WP:NPROF#C1 in this particular case, but speaking more generally.

Hope this helps. Happy editing. – Novem Linguae ( talk) 12:58, 21 March 2024 (UTC) reply

This is so helpful at times like this with few academics' drafts passing through my hands. I might have done more harm with an obsession with Biographies of living persons. I'll take time some at AFD learning on this issue, thank you. ANUwrites 19:06, 21 March 2024 (UTC) reply

Hi @ Anuwrites, Hope your doing good. Requesting you to please review this draft article Draft:Sreshth Movies. Thankyou ~~ Nss999 ( talk) 11:50, 30 March 2024 (UTC) reply

Hello @ Nss999. I see the draft is now in review queue, you had the option to wait, I still had some time passing through. The draft looks good from the last review but if you added atleast two references covering 'Sreshth movies' as a company, I would have accepted it right away. All references provided don't show important things such as the company's history, success, governance e.tc, they only cover films produced by the company. The company deserves an article, you just have to adjust what I and other reviewers suggested. Happy editing. ANUwrites 19:47, 30 March 2024 (UTC) reply

Draft: Kayo Hustle review

I read that releasing 2 albums from a major label or a notable independent label makes the artist notable. Kayo Hustle has 7 albums released by Empire who is a major independent label with artist like Young Dolph (rip), Snoop Dogg, and 50 cent on the roster. [1] Kayo Hustle is an Empire artist. GRMG2012 ( talk) 13:09, 4 April 2024 (UTC) reply

where did you read that? I would like to read that too, but I believe no such a thing as releasing 2 albums from a major label or a notable independent label makes the artist notable.
Here's what I read, we consider WP:NBIO guidelines when dealing with the notability guidelines for biography articles in general and for musicians/bands as a category, we consider WP:SINGER guidelines, they may be helpful if you pass through them. Happy editing. ANUwrites 05:58, 5 April 2024 (UTC) reply
I read it under the wiki notable artist reference page. [2] it was number 5 and it quotes, “Has released two or more albums on a major record label or on one of the more important indie labels (i.e., an independent label with a history of more than a few years, and with a roster of performers, many of whom are independently notable).”
and Kayo Hustle has released a total of 7 albums with Empire. GRMG2012 ( talk) 12:32, 9 April 2024 (UTC) reply
I will repeat my statement with further elaborations; With just 2 albums releases from a notable independent label, DOES NOT makes Kayo Hustler notable. As this is one of the 12 points that generate notability for a singer, we consider an artist notable if he/she passes atleast half of them. Kayo passes 1/12, and looking back and forth, none of Kayo's albums is listed to empire official site, dropping to 0/12. Recalling that; notability is not determined by what the article says, it is determined by how well the article does or does not support the things it says by referencing them to independent verification in reliable sources, Kayo Hustler still has a long way to go to have an article.
