You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Ghansoli. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period. Additionally, users who perform several reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. When in dispute with another editor you should first try to discuss controversial changes to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Should that prove unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. Please stop the disruption, otherwise you may be blocked from editing. NJA (t/ c) 08:25, 7 January 2010 (UTC) reply

Questions from me

Andreasmperu you gave me a final warning on my talk page and told me to just talk to you. I don't know how to just talk to you in Wikipedia. May I ask you some questions here? Are you engaged in an edit war with me??? over the International Churches of Christ page??? Are you a member of the International Churches of Christ?? It looks like you hold some sort of job in Wikipedia? I did not know that you an employee of Wikipedia. Why are my edits to the International Churches of Christ page not acceptable?

Constantly reverting the ICOC wikipedia page back to an earlier version which makes the article sound like pro-ICOC propaganda

Wikipedia is not to be used as pro-ICOC propaganda. The ICOC Wikipedia page is not neutral; it's full of pro-ICOC and pro-ICC propaganda. I have included some reputable information and sources to make the page appear neutral. It would seem that you are an ICOC/ICC member who is trying to use the ICOC/ICC Wikipedia page as an evangelism tool. Stop it. Qewr4231 ( talk) 23:31, 3 August 2010 (UTC) reply

Request For Wikipedia Help

Every time that I make a legitimate edit using reputable sources, some of which are even ICOC/ICC in origin, to the International Churches of Christ page Andreasmperu erases them. Andreasmperu's version of the ICOC/ICC page is not neutral; it's pro-ICOC and pro-ICC. Shouldn't all the relevant facts about the ICOC/ICC be reported whether the facts are positive or negative? I am requesting Wikipedia's help. Qewr4231 ( talk) 00:43, 4 August 2010 (UTC) reply

I can't read Spanish, so I can't review the Spanish deletion discussion, but this version says that Ricardo Letts Colmenares was a member of the national legislature. That's not only a claim of significance enough to meet WP:CSD#A7, but probably enough (assuming it was verified) to automatically make the person notable. If the whole article is a hoax, then it could still be deleted, or if the info can't be verified, it could be deleted via AfD, but without more info, I cannot speedily delete it via A7. Credo Reference Update & Survey (your opinion requested)

Credo Reference, who generously donated 400 free Credo 250 research accounts to Wikipedia editors over the past two years, has offered to expand the program to include 100 additional reference resources. Credo wants Wikipedia editors to select which resources they want most. So, we put together a quick survey to do that:

It also asks some basic questions about what you like about the Credo program and what you might want to improve.

At this time only the initial 400 editors have accounts, but even if you do not have an account, you still might want to weigh in on which resources would be most valuable for the community (for example, through WikiProject Resource Exchange).

Also, if you have an account but no longer want to use it, please leave me a note so another editor can take your spot.

If you have any other questions or comments, drop by my talk page or email me at wikiocaasi@yahoo.com. Cheers! Ocaasi t | c 17:06, 11 July 2012 (UTC) reply

Indonesia fairy tales

Folklore and fiction are mutually discrete forms of literature - I fail to see how you can join them, any clues why? thanks Satu Suro 04:55, 24 January 2013 (UTC) reply

Hi, maybe you are confusing subcategories with intersections. While there are some similarities between categories and sets, categories are rather organized as trees. Having said that, all subcategories contained in Category:Fairy tales by country were in turn categorized as "Category:Country literature" and "Category:Country folklore". Since "literature" is a broad category, I chose to specify what kind of literature ("fiction" or better "fantasy"). Andreasm just talk to me 16:44, 24 January 2013 (UTC) reply

Hi Andreasmperu, and first of all, thanks for your ongoing translation of Bennet family from the French article. Second, I wanted to ask you about Mr Bennet and whether it has any content that could be valuable to the family article in its current state. It reads like a literature essay right now, citing only P&P itself and one critical work. I had thought to merge or redirect it to Bennet family; when I saw that you were in the process of bringing French content over, I thought I'd ask whether it would be sensible to just redirect it now. I don't know French, but it looks like their existing content on Mr Bennet in the family article is better than what we have in the standalone article. Did I make that confusing enough? -- BDD ( talk) 01:30, 30 January 2013 (UTC) reply

Once I started translating fr:Famille Bennet, I found myself on the opposite dilemma: I thought the article was too long, so it could be divided into small articles for each character. I gave up on this option because the main article had a good cohesion that was to be broken. So, I agree with your choice, given that the section concerning Mr Bennet is much better than the article itself. It is therefore necessary to complete the translation. Since my mother tongue is not English, I will be more than grateful if you could help me with some proofreading (correction of grammatical or typographical errors), in order to accelerate the process. • Hola Andreasmperu!
Saludos cordials :)-- Kanon6996 ( talk) 02:25, 12 February 2013 (UTC) reply

No where in the entire article is the actual word 'cancel' used. It is the term people scan the article for when trying to make a decision to start a series on Hulu or Netflix. They also want to know if there is a cliff hanger ending or some resolution before investing time in watching the show. 97.85.168.22 ( talk) 08:54, 24 March 2013 (UTC) reply

You are going to edit war over adding two truthful adjectives to the opening sentence of the article? That's ridiculous. The show is from 2004 and there is no second season coming. 97.85.168.22 ( talk) 20:19, 24 March 2013 (UTC) reply

Just because I'm not signed in and am using an IP edit does NOT mean I'm not an established editor. Stop your edit warring about a simple descriptive adjectives giving a concise view of the state of the show. "What (or who) is the subject?" = A cancelled, single season science fiction television series. Short, sweet and concise. Please review the Wikipedia:Lead section TT first sentence content and please stop abusing the anonymous editors. Alatari ( talk) 21:57, 24 March 2013 (UTC) reply

Actually, the complete guideline is WP:MOSBEGIN. For some examples regarding the first sentence of an article, you can check on Wikipedia:MOSBEGIN#Proper names and titles, where it clearly states this order: [Name of work] is a [YEAR] [type of work] [genre]. If you think the information is really important, the rest of the introduction section is the right place to put it. Andreasm just talk to me 00:06, 25 March 2013 (UTC) reply

Your recent editing history at Pontifical Catholic University of Peru shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.-- Kanon6996 ( talk) 01:37, 14 May 2013 (UTC) reply

Hola Andreasmperu! Saludos cordiales.-- Kanon6996 ( talk) 01:37, 14 May 2013 (UTC) reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Werner Schroeter, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Willow Springs ( check to confirm |  fix with Dab solver). Books & Bytes New Years Double Issue

Books & Bytes

Volume 1 Issue 3, December/January 2013

(Sign up for monthly delivery)

Happy New Year, and welcome to a special double issue of Books & Bytes. We've included a retrospective on the changes and progress TWL has seen over the last year, the results of the survey TWL participants completed in December, some of our plans for the future, a second interview with a Wiki Love Libraries coordinator, and more. Here's to 2014 being a year of expansion and innovation for TWL!

The Wikipedia Library completed the first 6 months of its Individual Engagement grant last week. Here's where we are and what we've done:

Increased access to sources: 1500 editors signed up for 3700 free accounts, individually worth over $500,000, with usage increases of 400-600%
Deep networking: Built relationships with Credo, HighBeam, Questia, JSTOR, Cochrane, LexisNexis, EBSCO, New York Times, and OCLC
New pilot projects: Started the Wikipedia Visiting Scholar project to empower university-affiliated Wikipedia researchers
Developed community: Created portal connecting 250 newsletter recipients, 30 library members, 3 volunteer coordinators, and 2 part-time contractors
Tech scoped: Spec'd out a reference tool for linking to full-text sources and established a basis for OAuth integration
Broad outreach: Wrote a feature article for Library Journal's The Digital Shift; presenting at the American Library Association annual meeting
... Read Books & Bytes!

Dear Andreasmperu,

i'm sorry, but Novelas ejemplares is a set of novellas, not short stories.

Best regards,

updating a old Category page

Hello Andreasmperu, I come to you because I have seen that you had been the last person to update this page here /info/en/?search=Category:Novels_by_Juliette_Benzoni First of all, it was not me who created that Article - but I would like to be the one who writes now all the missing titles in that Category. My question: the author wrote 86 books /info/en/?search=Juliette_Benzoni - but so far only 14 books have been translated from French into English. Is it now correct to add all the original French titles and maybe in brackets the English titels - or would it be better to write those 14 titles separately also on that page ? I am looking forward to your answer. ~Have a nice day,Best to you Laramie1960 ( talk) —Preceding undated comment added 12:40, 30 August 2017 (UTC) reply

My changes about George Michael on Wikidata

Hello Andreasmperu,

I removed some elements in order the clarify the French infobox (for example, there is to much musical styles which can lost the reader) and in order to mention only true information. I refer to the French Wikipedian article which is a featured article that I mostly wrote in order to have the entire references. I'm a modest specialist of George Michael and my contributions on this page isn't vandalism but common sense. Read my contributions in details and you'll understand my goal. I would like to finish by saying that this kind of problem wouldn't exist if the infobox have stayed in the French statement, even though I understand the whole spirit of the common participation on Wikidata.

Welcome!

Some cookies to welcome you!

Welcome to Wikipedia, Andreasmperu! I am E dog95 and have been editing Wikipedia for quite some time. I just wanted to say hi and welcome you to Wikipedia! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page or by typing {{ helpme}} at the bottom of this page. I love to help new users, so don't be afraid to leave a message! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Oh yeah, I almost forgot, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{ helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome!

Sorry about that, I redirected H. maxinae as it is now considered to be a jr. synonym of Homalopteroides smithi (formerly Homalopterus smithi) as per Kottelat's revision of the loaches.

Hola Andreasmperu!

EYMERY.

Charlie Jade 'cancelled'

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. updating a old Category page

The Months of African Cinema Contest Continues in November!

Greetings,

It is already past the middle of the contest and we are really excited about the Months of African Contest 2021 achievements so far! We want to extend our sincere gratitude for the time and energy you have invested. If you have not yet participated in the contest, it is not too late to do it. Please list your username as a participant on the contest’s main page.

Please remember to list the articles you have improved or created on the article achievements' section of the contest page so they can be tracked. In order to win prizes, be sure to also list your article in the users by articles. Please note that your articles must be present in both the article achievement section on the main contest page, as well as on the Users By Articles page for you to qualify for a prize.

We would be awarding prizes to different categories of winners:

  • Overall winner
    • 1st - $500
    • 2nd - $200
    • 3rd - $100
  • Diversity winner - $100
  • Gender-gap filler - $100
  • Language Winners - up to $100*
