I just revised the detail in the Philippines section of Spanish-American war. In this revision, I replaced previous content regarding German actions with content which differs quite abit. I supplied online-readable cites supporting the new content. I see that in this edit you had supplied two cites in support of the previous content (now removed) content. I'm located in the Philippines and I haven't been able to read the material which you cited, but I'm pretty confident of the material which I've added. Since I don't know what the cites you had added say on the matter, I've deleted those cites along with the text which they were added to support. Thanks for your work on the article. However I wanted to mention to you that I disagree with your caricaturization of removing "red links" as a repair. I would say that properly used Wikipedia "red links" are valuable indicators, and if there is any need for "repair" it is to create an article hiterto missing. If you remove a "red link", you are of course making an editorial decision that Wikipedia should not have an article on that topic. Thank you. I tend to place fact tags on dubious things, but I've had enough problems with people placing pretend or nonnotable people on place articles that I delete them if their claimed notability is not obvious — for example, legislators or professional sports players. It's like placing a redlink in a see-also section: I can't see there if there's no article to see, and it's not helpful to have someone mentioned that may or may not be real. Hello. I'm sure it was unintentional, but you reverted a legitimate edit to Mars and labeled it as vandalism. The user who made the edit was attempting to fix a "broken" link in the reference section. It's usually a good idea to check the edits before reverting. - I did check the edits; I always do. But I must have been out to lunch somehow when I reverted, because I should not have at all. I remember seeing the edit, and somehow processed it as him changing the name of the planet, i.e. "Mars", to "Jeffery" which is not what happened at all -- and I have no clue why I thought that either. Thanks for pointing this out to me, I sincerely apologize for my lack of brain function at the time, and the fallacious warning that I gave for it. Totally my fault. - I think that even though some entites (including internal ones) may incorrectly refer to USM as "University of Southern Mississippi", the University itself has been very clear about its official name and brand. I hate to bring this up, but you can't really use the original reference from Haekel (a primary source) to support the fact that he was the first to use the term. It's acceptable evidence that he used the term, but it's better to use a secondary/tertiary source (like just about any ecology textbook) to support the assertion that Haekel coined the term. Hello, AlphaEta. Believe me, as a member of WikiProject:ThreeKingdoms, I can assure you that you're not alone in wanting the information removed entirely. And despite what my name might suggest, I'm somewhat opposed to the idea of their inclusion, too, since I'm a Later Han/Three Kingdoms history buff. The problem is, the sections simply won't stay gone. Dynasty Warriors is such a massive influence on Three Kingdoms-related popular culture today that they are added to and altered on an almost daily basis. I didn't make the additions myself, but rather decided that I would simply attempt rewrite them all as well as I could in the hopes that this would enhance the quality of each article as much as possible.
I've spoken with other members of the project about this, most specifically Ling.Nut and dk, and they also believe that the best we can do is manage and monitor the information as strictly as possible. To do this further, I've begun adding references to these sections. So far done are Zhang He, Xu Huang, Zhuge Liang and Sima Yi. I'm currently in the process of upgrading Guan Yu, since this is the project's next FA drive. By the way, there is a compiled article of DW characters here. Unfortunately, it doesn't draw nearly enough attention away from the historical articles. I've never bothered with it myself, since my only concern is with keeping the real articles well written and ensuring that the DW information is limited to a small section at the bottom of each page, away from the factual content. I reverted the said article because even though I commend you on your desire to clean up the page. Many of the said quotes that you have "condensed" are removed further out of context and do not remain neutral. The previous edits avoided a majority of this misconception. I would also ask that you do not jump on people when they make a revision. A simple message would have been sufficient. On the other hand, a auto generated message for something that you feel passionate for does not seem appropriate. I noticed it is on your watch list for vandalism. I would prefer that we resolve the issue on the talk page for Watson before any more action is taken.

Hello again, AlphaEta. I would just like to inform you that after pondering your suggestion for some time, I introduced the idea to my co-editors. All DW information will now be removed from Three Kingdoms-related articles and merged into a single DW article in the interests of preserving the traditional and cultural sections of each of the former. We are all in agreement that this is a good idea and I have begun merging the information into List of Dynasty Warriors characters. So far I have only referenced the first two characters, but eventually I'll have replaced what is there and referenced all information to a substantial degree. Of course, I'll be leaving a small sentence and link redirect to the above article on each Three Kingdoms article in an attempt to prevent others from simply re-adding the information. Hopefully we can steer fans of the series towards our "target" article. However, I'll be attempting to turn this into a GA effort at the very least, and if you would like to help us prevent the article from being utterly destroyed by vandalism and cruft, I would appreciate if you could help us revert blatant vandal attacks and poor quality edits. Hello again, AlphaEta. I would just like to inform you that after pondering your suggestion for some time, I introduced the idea to my co-editors. All DW information will now be removed from Three Kingdoms-related articles and merged into a single DW article in the interests of preserving the traditional and cultural sections of each of the former. We are all in agreement that this is a good idea and I have begun merging the information into List of Dynasty Warriors characters. So far I have only referenced the first two characters, but eventually I'll have replaced what is there and referenced all information to a substantial degree. Of course, I'll be leaving a small sentence and link redirect to the above article on each Three Kingdoms article in an attempt to prevent others from simply re-adding the information. Hopefully we can steer fans of the series towards our "target" article. However, I'll be attempting to turn this into a GA effort at the very least, and if you would like to help us prevent the article from being utterly destroyed by vandalism and cruft, I would appreciate if you could help us revert blatant vandal attacks and poor quality edits.
