Hi. Welcome to Wikipedia, and thanks for working to improve the site with your edit to Thunderbolt Ross, as we really appreciate your participation. However, the edit had to be reverted, because Wikipedia cannot accept unsourced material or original research. This includes material lacking cited sources, or obtained through personal knowledge or unpublished synthesis of previously published material. Wikipedia requires that all material added to articles be accompanied by reliable, verifiable sources explicitly cited in the text in the form of an inline citation, which you can learn to make here. I did a Google Search on the clip in question, and found it at Marvel.com, and Ross does not appear in it. (If I'm mistaken, and there is a different clip with him in it, please provide a reliable source for it.)
If you have any other questions about editing, or need help regarding the site's policies, just let me know by leaving a message for me in a new section at the bottom of my talk page. Thanks. :-) Nightscream ( talk) 14:33, 10 September 2011 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from File:Consultant.jpg, a page you have created yourself. If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Click here to contest this speedy deletion and appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. As another editor notes at Marvel Cinematic Universe, we do not re-revert without discussion. I would additionally note that we do not link to copy-cat sites but to the original sources of reporting, which in the Natalie Portman item is Entertainment Weekly here. I just want you to know, that I am in the process of moving this article back to my sandbox for two reasons: 1) By moving the page as you did, it moved my sandbox history with it, something that I don't want on that article, and should not be on that article. 2) I don't feel the article is ready for the main space. While I appreciate the contributions you did to it, it was very much just copy and pasted info from the already existing soundtrack articles. If this page is to be done, it needs to be more than just a copy/paste of information. - Favre1fan93 ( talk) 05:54, 24 May 2014 (UTC)
Hey Adam. I know you are trying to make worthwhile edits to the Marvel Cinematic Universe pages, but recently some of your edits have been very rash. They are in good faith, but they are removing content that does not need to be removed at the moment. While we are working on getting these pages the be the best that they can be, in my opinion, things are not done very rashly. Either on the article talk pages, or among the top contributor's talk pages, we discuss potential editions, or make stuff in our sandboxes as I have been doing, before implementing them, to share with everyone. At least for me, I make sure if I am doing sandbox work, I have everything up to par to get it to the mainspace before I actually do, meaning it has a copy edit, everything is sourced, and has a general style/formula similar to the other pages. - Favre1fan93 ( talk) 03:17, 1 June 2014 (UTC)
I also see that you have been working a lot on the comic article, which I greatly appreciated. Just some notes, all those tables you made, need to have sources for each title. As well, all prose on the page need sources, and I'm pretty sure that some of the sources that are on there need replacing. - Favre1fan93 ( talk) 03:19, 1 June 2014 (UTC)

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been reverted or removed.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's
policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive, until the dispute is resolved through

loss of editing privileges.
As I stated above, your edits are coming off very bold and rash, and are now being viewed as disruptive.

Hi, I'm Jodosma, I noticed you removed some info from Marvel Cinematic Universe which caused a cite error because your edit removed references which were named refs. You can see the edit here if you wish. Because of your edit, other refs which referred to the ones you took out were left without a definition, which caused the error. I'm sure this was an inadvertent error which you may wish to correct. Jodosma ( talk) 19:36, 7 June 2014 (UTC)

I understand what you mean in regards to minimizing clutter, however it is currently laid out in the same format as many Wikipedia pages of similar subjects. I have also looked at the Marvel page that you have mentioned and I would believe that the method used there is somewhat because the series as a whole is made up of several sub-series, some of which have had previous incarnations/ iterations, add in the fact that there are other current marvel series (eg: X-Men) that are not included and I agree it does help in that instance to make clear which productions are included in that particular canon and their relation to each other. However for Star Trek it is far more straightforward as beyond the Paramount produced films there are only parody and fan works, therefore there is no reason to over complicate the matter as they all follow each other in order without any major nods to each other aside from the Spock trilogy (films 2 to 4). 178.78.123.66 ( talk) 12:15, 27 August 2014 (UTC)

Just so you know, I like what you have started. Though, I feel it may be a harder sell in the wider community to create. I feel that, unlike the films, if we were to make tables with every single character (already or will be listed on each show's individual page) a very good majority will not be the ones crossing over to other shows. As I thought, we should really let all these shows establish themselves, with the smaller form table I have on what will be the main tv page, and then see if your's will be a good addition. I'm not telling you to stop adding to it, or formatting it and such, but I just want you to know that it will be a hard sell as I see it, given what we already have and what will be created (most likely List of pages for Agent Carter only, Daredevil only, etc.) . - Favre1fan93 ( talk) 15:53, 11 August 2014 (UTC)
@ Favre1fan93: Now that the tv page has been moved to the mainspace, and news is really starting to ramp up as we get close to SHIELD season 2, I see that my idea above is sounding like somewhere to aim for, but I thought I might check with you first, so that hopefully we can be on the same page. As we have gotten more and more casting news for the upcoming shows, the cast table on the tv page has grown, and now it doesn't even all fit on my screen at once. That is fine for now, but as more shows are added, soon the table will be both too long and too wide, so the scrolling div option from the films page won't really work either. At that point, I think we should replace the table with maybe a paragraph summarising it, and have a main article link to List of Marvel Cinematic Universe television series actors. I have already cut it down some, to only include principles, recurring, and crossovers, so it is inline with what is on the main page, but we will be able to fit all of the shows in because of the separated tv seasons format. The list of characters page(s) will remain, as they will list all guest stars as well, and focus on more of the in-universe stuff that a cast table avoids, but this page will be an easy to navigate summary of the main casts of the shows, the crossovers between seasons/shows, and of course the crossovers with other mediums. I definitely think this is where we should be headed, but it is more of a long-term goal I think. I would be interested in any thoughts you have on this. - adamstom97 ( talk) 05:04, 5 September 2014 (UTC)

Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. ==

Hello. Why did you revert the ratings back to the old way? Sleep Hollow has their ratings like the style I had put in place. Those links actually linked to each episode above. Also the reverted version looks bigger. It makes the page look too big. Once there is a second season, all of that data will transfer to a new page with a smaller listing of just season ratings overall. Kiraroshi1976 ( talk) 23:47, 9 November 2014 (UTC)
You currently appear to be engaged in an
edit war according to the reverts you have made on
Gotham (TV series). Users are expected to
collaborate with others, to avoid editing
disruptively, and to
try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. I am not sure where you are reading that MOS guidelines can supersede policies, but they cannot. WP:FUC is a policy based around legal rights. It clearly states that if a free alternative exists, then it should be used. A free alternative exists. If you disagree, then please feel free to start a discussion on the Arrow talk page, because your bold revert is in violation of a POLICY. As for the MOS itself, that is currently in the process of being rewritten to reflect the NON-FREE policy. BIGNOLE (Contact me) 21:51, 13 December 2014 (UTC)

The dates are arbitrary. There are better ways of writing then simply constantly listing out dates (or frames of dates). We know that the series had more episodes added prior to the premiere, the fact that the press release came out in September is not relevant. Again, we're not here to chronicle every baby step the show made. Additionally, constantly starting a sentence with the date just reads like a list morphed into prose, instead of professionally written prose. This is why you see the dates moved more to the end of a sentence. Numbers are also spelled out when they are lower than 10. BIGNOLE (Contact me) 13:21, 23 December 2014 (UTC)

I've been thinking about this, and I think we can remove these sections. Just wrangle it all into your "Casting" sections as "All principle characters stared" or "All principle characters stared, with the exception of X". You list them in the lead, so you are good I think. Also, you have not done this for the S1 eps, and I seem to like that format better. However, if you do want that section, you should include the guest stars there too. But I just think it is redundant because you go very in depth with the casting section. Let me know what you think. - Favre1fan93 ( talk) 17:38, 28 December 2014 (UTC)

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's

loss of editing privileges.
