Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Savant syndrome, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. "despite not being autistic" is more trivia than information for a caption, best saved for the page itself. ButterCashier ( talk) 10:18, 11 July 2023 (UTC) reply

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Information icon Welcome, and thank you for your attempt to lighten up Wikipedia. However, this is an encyclopedia, and articles are intended to be serious, so please don't make joke edits, as you did to Antiscience. Readers looking for accurate information will not find them amusing. If you'd like to experiment with editing, please use the sandbox instead, where you are given a certain degree of freedom in what you write. -REDACTED403 (talk) 12:25, 14 November 2023 (UTC) reply

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your edits to Childhood disintegrative disorder, please use the preview button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made and prevents clogging up recent changes and the page history, as well as helping prevent edit conflicts. Below the edit box is a Show preview button. Pressing this will show you what the page will look like without actually saving it.

The Show preview button is right next to the Publish changes button and below the edit summary field.

It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving. If you have any questions, contact the help desk for assistance. Thank you. Jessicapierce ( talk) 16:33, 5 January 2024 (UTC) reply

In addition, please do not ever change the content of direct quotes, even as corrections, as you did at Fighting Talk. Thank you. Jessicapierce ( talk) 16:33, 5 January 2024 (UTC) reply
I've never changed the content of any quotes, direct or indirect, so I can only imagine another user of this computer did that (I'm in a library). 80.193.98.150 ( talk) 15:45, 2 February 2024 (UTC) reply
I wouldn’t worry about it. I’ve noticed that accounts innocent of any malicious activity have been unjustly accused of vandalism by Wikipedia bots/editors as an excuse for a block on that particular account. This has happened more than a few times already, as in this case. 80.193.98.150 ( talk) 16:01, 15 February 2024 (UTC) reply
