Hello, I'm JarrahTree. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to Venice, did not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. Two things....
1. Wikipedia is not the place to right great wrongs. Please click on that link and have a read.
2. This particular article refers explicitly to the United States in its name. To write in this article as if it is some sort of politically arguable entity is simply inappropriate. That business belongs elsewhere, not in this encyclopaedia. HiLo48 ( talk) 22:41, 20 August 2019 (UTC)
Your desperation to avoid mentioning the United States is leading to silliness. You cannot claim that the North American Southwest is the same as western United States. North America does stop at the Mexican border. It goes all the way to Panama. "The North American Southwest" MUST describe something south of the United States. Stop mangling the language for ideological reasons. HiLo48 ( talk) 08:23, 29 August 2019 (UTC)
The article specifically mentioned pre-Columbian times, which was before the United States was founded. Since you insist, I changed it to avoid saying "North American Southwest" and instead clarify that it refers the "Southwest" cultural region. That is what it is called. 50.68.172.46 ( talk) 18:13, 29 August 2019 (UTC)

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be repeatedly reverting or undoing other editors' contributions. Although this may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is known as " edit warring" and is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, as it often creates animosity between editors. Instead of reverting, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.
If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to be blocked from editing Wikipedia. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a block. Thank you. ST47 ( talk) 23:31, 27 September 2019 (UTC)
Hi! If you'd be willing to explain on the talk pages why you're changing the locations, that would probably help keep you from being reverted repeatedly. A lot of us who watch for vandalism are watching for patterns, and it might help if you explained what was happening, either here on your talk page, or on the talk pages of the articles themselves. Thanks! OwnstheBeagles ( talk) 23:50, 28 September 2019 (UTC)
The reason for these edits is that species ranges are based on ecoregions, not modern-day states. 50.68.172.46 ( talk) 21:35, 27 September 2019 (UTC)

I reverted most of your recent edits for North American lakes and mountains that inserted (or worse still, replaced existing) locations such as Laurentia (bioregion) or Cascadia (bioregion) in the lead sentence. Bioregion is a specialist term from World Wildlife Fund pertaining to wildlife, and should be used only in narrow contexts of botany and conservation. They certainly do not belong to definitions of geographic features, and most readers will find reference to "Laurentia" rather than "Ontario" downright confusing. I'm sorry, but thank you for understanding. No such user ( talk) 07:28, 16 October 2019 (UTC)
Actually, they do. Definitions of "bioregion" often include things like rivers and mountains. Those things have an inherent role in their local ecosystems. Also, readers come here to learn about new things, and they're welcome to click on the link if they don't know what it means. 50.68.172.46 ( talk) 00:48, 17 October 2019 (UTC)
A lot of your recent edits to subjects relative to Australia actually need conversation and consensus before changing - a very good idea to take your concerns to /info/en/?search=Wikipedia:Australian_Wikipedians%27_notice_board - specially if someone starts reverting your edits without discussion and simply assumes that your perspective is misreading what the differences are between the designated country or physiographical region are 'inside' the articles. Be also careful with assumptions without adequate WP:RS to back up your argument. JarrahTree 05:38, 17 October 2019 (UTC)
