Nielsen Media Research ratings report that the March 19 broadcast of TNA Impact! earned a 1.34 television rating, the highest number the promotion has ever drawn.
Howard Finkel was announced as the seventh inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame as a part of the Class of 2009 via WWE's official website.

On May 8, WWE signed
Fred Sampson to a developmental contract.
TNA announced a new television show, TNA Epics, that will broadcast its inaugural show on May 15 on
