Please, please stop putting cosplay pictures into articles where they are not appropriate. I remember the lengthy discussions relating to the leotard article; now you have added a similar image to the maid article. Can you tell me why you consider these images to be appropriate illustrations for these articles? -- The Anome 12:38, Nov 28, 2004 (UTC)
My impression of you was limited to a vague "been around a long time, and reasonably active". You've changed that in one fell swoop.

Hi, I've started the Free the Rambot Articles Project which has the goals of getting users to multi-license all of their contributions that they've made to...
using the Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike (CC-by-sa) version 1.0 and 2.0 Licenses or into the public domain if they prefer. The CC-by-sa license is a true free documentation license that is similar to the GFDL (which every contribution made to Wikipedia is licensed under), but it allows other projects, such as WikiTravel, to use our articles (See the Multi-licensing Guide for more information). Since you are among the top 1000 most active Wikipedians, I was wondering if you would be willing to multi-license all of your contributions or at minimum those on the geographic articles.
To allow us to track those users who muli-license their contributions, many users copy and paste the {{DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual}} template (or {{MultiLicensePD}} for public domain) into their user page, but there are other templates for other options at Template messages/User namespace. The following examples could also copied and pasted into your user page:
OR
Or if you wanted to place your work into the public domain, you could replace {{DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual}} with {{MultiLicensePD}}. If you only prefer using the GFDL, I would like to know that too. Please let me know at my talk page what you think. -- Ram-Man 21:27, Nov 29, 2004 (UTC)
Hey, where did you get all the cosplay pictures from? Do you happen to have a list of all the ones on the wikipedia? -Cookiemobsta 06:21, 30 Nov 2004 (UTC)
Over at Culture of the United Kingdom one of the main things that is stopping us from putting it forward as a featured article candidate is the fact that the art section is so small (one small paragraph). You have listed yourself on Wikipedia:List of Wikipedians by fields of interest as someone with an interest in art. Would you be able to pop over there at some point and help us to expand the section please? Many thanks. -- Graham ☺ | Talk 11:53, 1 Dec 2004 (UTC)

The picture you put on the tarantula article is a very attractive picture, but it is not a picture of a tarantula. It's a picture of a jumping spiders -- creatures that I've been in love with for the last 50 years. Somebody else had already removed it before I saw it. Where did you get the picture? We may be able to use it on the "Jumping Spider" article somehow, especially if I can figure out the species. (Too bad the view of the upper surface of the abdomen is not clearer, but you've got a beautiful shot of the head. Jumping spiders are the only ones I know of that seem to be aware that somebody is looking at them, and they like to look back. They seem to be as curious about us as we are about them. If you remember back a little bit, you were kind enough to test the idea of Kiki with nine kids. You said they were interested in her, as long as she were intelligent. Since then, Kiki has developed into a character that appears on ever few pages in the books, and occasionally interviews real-life scientists, politicians, artists, dancers, zookeepers, what ever relates to the book. These people will be shown in cartoon form, in their work environments. For example, I'm hoping to have "Kiki" interview a NASA scientist or astronaut, or some sort of astronomer, for the debut Solar System issue. Would you be able to run this new role for Kiki past the kids you talked to before, and see if this interests them? The character is in trouble of being eliminated by criticism from other users. -- user:zanimum

Hi hi, I noticed that Image:Fursuit autumn fox hotel.jpg is lacking a proper copyright tag - could you add one, please? Heya. I saw your logo for wikisource, very impresive.
It seems like the only real problem with it is the square edges required for the sea. I was wondering, have you considered playing around with a circular background for the sea? Depending on aspect ratios etc, I thought that might look okay. Another idea is to try to draw the sourceberg with an overhead view and use a circular ocean. There's a bit of liberty for creative freedom in that idea as well. CXI 14:55, 17 Dec 2004 (UTC)

I notice it currently doesn't have an image copyright tag. Could you add one to let us know its copyright status? (You can use {{gfdl}} if you release it under the GFDL, or {{fairuse}} if you claim fair use, etc.) Thanks – Kbh3rd 08:05, 1 Jan 2005 (UTC)
I am asking simple questions, and I dont get an answer from you. What is the voters population? In order for a Vfd poll to be a valid one, what is the minimum number of voters (as population percentage) that has to cast a vote on it? What is your decision method when you extract the decision from the poll? 2/3 majority? simple majority? other? Finnaly as long as you take a decision, how long this decision is valid and cannot be reversed? I am expecting simple answers from you, in order to stop proposing my own answers to those questions .Vfd policy is a total mess! How I calculate my results? I dont know yet. I have read majority rule, average rule, quadratic rule e.t.c. and I am trying to find out. Iasson 09:50, 9 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Hi, the referenced image has you listed as the uploader, and it's tagged fair use. NBC's license on that image is:
...so, using it here is a little on the iffy side. If you have a good fair use justification handy, could you add one? If not, we do have a substitute fair use image for Ashlee Simpson so it's not the end of the world. Thanks. iMeowbot~ Mw 18:08, 22 Jan 2005 (UTC)
When reverting a page or template, especially "inthenews", make sure that you put a {{*test*}} (without the astericks) on it. If it's something that affects the main page, I personally go straight for {{*test3*}} or higher. -- user:zanimum
Apologies for reverting your image changes to the Johnny Carson article without checking to see if the original image had been tagged. I uploaded it (before he died), and thought I had tagged it, but didn't. The only thing I was thinking was, "Why did this guy replace the image with one of arguably lower quality?" I didn't bother to check if I'd tagged the image. The original image is a screenshot of an image from MPTV.net as it appeared on IMDB.com. Looking at MPTV's web page, the terms for use are pretty restrictive, and there's no mention of fair use. Then again, I'm not sure where you could find a better picture of him. "Unique" images qualify as fair use, I think. Do you think it should remain in the article? Not necessarily at the top, but anywhere. -- Chrysaor 21:58, 25 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Hey...do you happen to know the original release dates for the records in the discography? The ones providd (I'm asuming they're from Amazon.com are for CD rereleases of old albums (for exampl, The Chipmunks Sing the Beatles is obviously a reissue of a 1960s release). I'm going to move the discography to the talk page for right now, so that we can find the correct release dates (years are fine). Just give me a minute to finish up a couple of other edits, and I will start looking up the info--SOMEbody on the internet has to have a complete Chipmunks discography. -- b. Hi Zanium, I noticed that for some images you have cropped, (such as Pm sq turner.jpg), you have slapped a PD tag on them and say that you "release it into the public domain". But you just cannot DO that. You did not create the content, you just created a derivative work over which you probably have no rights. You should probably go back to each of these and put a suitable tag on them, presumably the same as for the originals, and provide also a link to the original images.... Cheers, Fawcett5 20:28, 14 May 2005 (UTC)
I think you need to slow down on uploading images and learn more about copyrights and appropriate usage, because you are doing things that are just not kosher.
For example, you took a picture of a werewolf mask and claimed the copyright owner released it under license... except the problem there is that taking a picture of a copyrighted work -- in this case, a mask -- does not give you a copyright on the image itself. You'd have copyright to the part you did that was artistic, but the original mask copyright is owned by that creator, and you can't use it without their permission.
And, for the love of god, stop putting pics of some model in cheesey costumes onto a bunch of article pages (for example, Pixie) as they are really bad. DreamGuy 20:58, May 19, 2005 (UTC)
the image still sucks, which is why people keep deleting it. Gabrielsimon 01:56, 21 May 2005 (UTC)
Having nothing is far, far better than something totally inappropriate for the article. And these images you are uploading are pretty sad even by typical fanwank standards. Wikipedia standards are much higher than that. DreamGuy 05:45, May 21, 2005 (UTC)
that lastest one got removed becuase it was from a movie, and hence, would be copyright violation if it was used.

Firstly let me say that I am sorry to have to bother you.
Secondly, I wish to let you know that a recent VFD that you took part in has closed. The result was that 32 people voted to keep all individual bible verses as seperate articles, and 34 voted that they shouldn't (2 abstensions, and 3 votes for both). This is considered by standard policy not to be a consensus decision (although the closing admin stated that it was a consensus to keep them).
Thirdly, the subject has now been put to a survey, so that it may remain open until there is a clear consensus for what appears to be a difficult issue to resolve. You may wish to take part in this survey, and record a similar vote to the one you made at the VFD there. The survey is available at Wikipedia:Bible verses.

I've been working on a bid to bring Wikimania 2006 to Toronto. I have contacted KMDI, an institute at the University of Toronto. They are very interested in partnering with us, and can get us a full range of U of T facilities for free. With this offer I think there is a very good chance of bringing Wikimania 2006 to Toronto. The only thing we currently lack are people willing to help out. I'm willing to do much of the work, but for the time being I am in Ottawa and having some people on the ground in Toronto will be necessary. We also need a number of people willing to assist at the actual event, likely the first weekend of August 2006. If you are interested in helping out sign up at Wikimania 2006/Toronto. Preliminary bids from various cities need to be made by Sept. 30, 2005, at which point a committee will choose which city gets to host the event. The number of people willing to help will certainly be an important consideration. - SimonP 16:21, September 6, 2005 (UTC)

using the Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike (CC-by-sa) version 1.0 and 2.0 Licenses or into the public domain if they prefer. Hi hi, I noticed that Image:Fursuit autumn fox hotel.jpg is lacking a proper copyright tag - could you add one, please? Thanks. ^_^ On a related note, does the owner/creator of this suit have a website? I've been in love with the suit (so to speak ^_~) ever since I first saw it on http://www.ratemyfursuit.com (defunct, unfortunately), but wasn't able to find any information or further photos really. Thanks! ^^ -- Schneelocke ( cheeks clone) [[]] 16:46, 13 Dec 2004 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading the image

Zanimum - an anon has tagged two of your images, Image:Event expo 67 poster 1990-552-1.jpg and Image:Event expo 67 united states pavilion.jpg, fair use because you wrote "deemed fair use." Could you please note your source for these images on their description pages? Thanks very much. Rdsmith4— Dan | Talk 00:27, 19 Jan 2005 (UTC)
It appears that the stylized "Sourceberg" logo at Wikisource is at least partially your design. The matter has progressed to the point where it looks like we will be having a final vote between that and the "Stack of books". Could you please indicate on your Wikisource user page that you are in part the designer of that proposed logo, and that you are willing to transfer all your rights if any under copyright and trademark law to the Wikimedia Foundation if it is finally chosen.

Hey, I know you're interested in Sesame Street stuff, so I wanted to make you aware I'm working on the Sesame Street Live article a bit, and my first move was to vfd Allison Greenwald and Yram Rivera, since it's really not noteworthy at all to include the names of the dancers from the shows (there are far too many to do that, anyway.) Amazing. I didn't think that anyone would actually get around to doing it! I should really learn how to use vector art software.
I really don't want to sound like commanding or anything because it was really, really nice of you to do the art, but you asked me what I think, and here goes:
These points are by no means commands to make you do it, after all, you've got your own bid in the logo contest (heh, guess I should thank you even more). What program did you use to put these together? — Ambush Commander( Talk) 00:01, July 16, 2005 (UTC)
