You may not remove an Articles for Deletion tag from an article. I've left a question for you at Talk:Gay and Lesbian Kingdom of the Coral Sea Islands. Gazpacho 11:08, 1 January 2006 (UTC) reply

Providing additional references (to the two you have) would go further in persuading people than impersonating multiple users. And I would like an answer to the question I asked earlier: Did the Australian government say precisely what you claim it said, or is that a one-off interpretation? Gazpacho 00:17, 2 January 2006 (UTC) reply

We are a group of International Backpackers on a remote Island off the east coast of Australia and there is only two computers so get your facts right before you accuse others of impersonating multiple users. In answer to your other question please read if you can read that is. Wowfm 01:25, 3 January 2006 (UTC) reply

Image copyright problem with Image:GLKStamps.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:GLKStamps.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).

The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}.

Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me, or ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Ardenn 23:24, 23 July 2006 (UTC) reply

I see you've uploaded two files, Image:GLKStamps.jpg and Image:GlkStamps.jpg. They appear identical; you should probably pick one and have the other deleted. I've also added the {{ Stamp}} fair use claim assuming it applies here. Gimmetrow 02:57, 24 July 2006 (UTC) reply

Thank you for the help, these stamps I bought from the Gay and Lesbian Kingdom Post Office they are released by the Gay and Lesbian Kingdom into the public domain there is no copyright on them. i would like to include the image in the GLK page but dont know how to. wowfm

Is the stamp design public domain, or is it copyrighted? The copyright tags are confusing. In this case (assuming the design is copyrighted) a fair use claim seems straightforward - the text just has to talk about the stamps as stamps, which is what you want anyway. The image is already in the article with some text about the stamps. You should perhaps add when the stamps were released. Gimmetrow 12:31, 24 July 2006 (UTC) reply

An editor has nominated Gay and Lesbian Kingdom of the Coral Sea Islands, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also " What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Gay and Lesbian Kingdom of the Coral Sea Islands (3rd nomination) and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot ( talk) 21:30, 8 January 2008 (UTC) reply
