Thank you for your message, Kleuske. I am not able to makeany major contributions (30 minor ones in 15 years!) but do like to fix things if I notice them. My latest one came from seeing an article about the painting in today's Guardian. I wanted to know more about the person in the picture and, unsurprisingly, found that the Wiki page did not attribute it to Gainsborough. VertGalant ( talk) 09:14, 10 July 2023 (UTC) reply
