Tom Goodman moved to draftspace

Thanks for your contributions to Tom Goodman. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it has no sources. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. JoeNMLC ( talk) 17:34, 18 February 2024 (UTC) reply

Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions; however, it appears you may have written a Wikipedia article, or a draft for a Wikipedia article, about yourself. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – please see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Notable people who have edited Wikipedia). If you wish to add to or change an existing article about yourself, you are welcome to propose the changes by visiting the article's talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was the page I created deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss this with the deleting administrator. Thank you. You might as well delete my attempts altogether. Thanks. Tomgood~enwiki ( talk) 19:21, 18 February 2024 (UTC) reply
I have requested deletion. Wikipedia is not a site for promoting yourself- please get a LinkedIn or blog for that. Qcne (talk) 20:03, 18 February 2024 (UTC) reply
That’s unduly harsh and insensitive. I wasn’t promoting; I was establishing identity in the community of artists. Tomgood~enwiki ( talk) 20:10, 18 February 2024 (UTC) reply
That also isn't the purpose of Wikipedia. Qcne (talk) 20:19, 18 February 2024 (UTC) reply
I think that was harsh, Qcne. We can't expect rarely frequent editors to be well-versed in policies and guidelines until they start editing. Don't bite the newbies (which is measured in editing experience, not time). Liz Read! Talk! 21:50, 18 February 2024 (UTC) reply
