The only copyright on this page asserted was that of the photos. This is a public domain site. Also, there has been a hyperlink to the Gowanus Dredgers Canoe Club for years. Now if you are insisting on original work alone, that is a different case, but describing it as a blatant infringement was a little over exuberant. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Elgringograndelatte ( talk • contribs) 22:56, 29 August 2009 (UTC)
I posted Leaderboy on wikipedia.
I am leaderboy, i make electronic music and people want to hear it. I thought it would be helpful to have Leaderboy listed on here. Myspace is my official website and an official remix i have done has been blogged on Hype machine. these were reliable references. The subject matter was short and factual. How else do i list myself as an electronic music artist on here?

Hi. We just notice that our today's start up page "Surf in Pichilemu", was remove. We are Pichilemu.com the official surf tourism from Pichilemu town, a non-profit organization which helps to conserve the natural environments and cultural resources in the Pichilemu area.
Please advice the reasons why you are assuming that we are "advertising" or we are providing content with non sense.

Dear Tnxman307,
I'd like to request that the VSI page be published and the deletion overturned. I had accidentally published without citations, but have them and am adding them now. This is based off of an article from a trade magazine (DC Metro M.D. News, March/April 2008 edition.) I can email you a copy of the article, if it helps. Everything contained in the post is factual, and cited in the article I have.
Thank you,

It is true that I work for a PR firm, thus the login, however, this company does fit the criteria for publication on wikipedia according to the rules established in the likes you gave me, which I read prior to publication. The source I am using is an independant secondary source, a respected trade magazine which chose to write an article about VSI based on their unique presence in the medical industry. Does wikipedia ban those in the public relations industry from posting? Should you not instead look at the individual merit of the subject matter? VSI falls clearly in the range of a valid subject based on everything I have read. Please advise how I can find my deleted article and add its sources.

No explanation on why you decided to delete a work in progress. besides G11. Unambiguous advertising or promotion. which could be stated for any company listed on wikipedia including wikipedia because that is what it is. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.131.177.81 ( talk) 16:41, 30 August 2009 (UTC)
Well if you can't read the topic for the article is Appogy deletion. And I am a first time user trying to help build wikipedia, why are you so negative? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.131.177.81 ( talk) 16:46, 30 August 2009 (UTC)
Everybody is so very quick to delete on wikipedia and seemingly nobody wants to help, how much content should an article have before its posted? I have seen wikipedia entries with less then two lines. And its hard to not self promote when its an article regarding a company. Is that not strange?
Now you are changing the subject, which makes it confusing. There is no reference as to where to obtain/find creditably secondary sources, only very generalized guild lines. Secondary sources seem to be a matter of opinion more then fact. This is a new company with a launch date of later next month, How many secondary sources do you need to have? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.131.177.81 ( talk) 17:10, 30 August 2009 (UTC)
Considering the topic of discussion is Appogy deletion and it is also referenced in the discussion as well... Can you not be anymore specific or do you have to just stick to switching very generalized points? You talk of creditability and references, but there are no examples in anything referenced that tells you what a reliable or creditable source is or how many are required. The tag was put that the article was still under construction and you delete it anyways, furthermore there was no mention of cost, fees, or links that would directly benefit the company. Its very disappointing that you have to be a wikipedia expert to get an article posted. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.131.177.81 ( talk) 10:42, 31 August 2009 (UTC)
Aboutus.org is a different site then Appogy, com if you would have bothered to pay any attention. It is in no way affiliated with Appogy however Appogy is listed on their website. Hmm. That sounds like a source to me. If you would bother to do any research you would have realize the two are not the same, you could even do a whois on the domains. And Once again the article was under construction (And it was even noted so), in no means was it completed. But within four hours of posting it was deleted. I am so sorry that I am trying to help. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.131.176.65 ( talk) 22:27, 31 August 2009 (UTC)

Hello Tnxman307,
The purpose of this talk is to explain the significance of the article on Bro Manuel Mergulhao (Now deleted: See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bro_Manuel_Mergulhao)
We live in Mumbai, India. The city has 13,662,885 people. Close to 40% of these people live in abject poverty. Through its affiliate, Rhema Trust, one of the few government-recognized, not-for-profit organisations in this city, Bro Manuel Ministries organizes free medical camps for the downtrodden, cares for orphans and the aged.
However, many do not know about the organization. I have lived in this city all my life and never heard of Bro Manuel until last year. And he has renewed my life and the lives of many others through his work and teachings--he urges people to stop sinning and rely on God. His ministry has prayer services 24/7. Prayer/help lines are also open at all hours.
The ministry organizes free retreats every month (these are attended by people from all parts of India and abroad), and outreach programs in Thane, a satellite city of Mumbai, and Dubai. In many ways, what Bro Manuel does is similar to what Benny Hinn, Joel Osteen and the others are doing, albiet on a smaller scale. He has daily television programs that are broadcast across the world (on MiracleNet & CVO). He also several books to his credit
The first thing I did as soon as I heard of Bro. Manuel was look him up on Wikipedia. I didn't find anything on him.
The idea to create a page on Wikipedia was not to promote him, but to simply tell others like myself who are possibly looking for info on him, what he is all about.
Help is easy to find when those who need it know where to look.
Having said that, I offer my article to you for edit...please delete anything that's even remotely promotional. If you are not convinced bout its significance, then we'll let it rest.
Thanks for your time. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ecstatic kevin ( talk • contribs) 09:39, 1 September 2009 (UTC)

Hello Tnxman307 my article I created for the RnB artist "legacy" has been deleted due to unambiguous advertising or promotion. I am sorry that you feel I have done violations on your website. I reviewed the policies your website has and I do not know how my mentioning of an Up and coming RNB singer would fall under advertising? I have stated what this young man has done. I am not saying you can "BUY" his music here or he will be "SELLING" his music here. This is an artist who has been performing across 30 states in the US. If you would like to help me make revisions to the parts you feel are "promotional" or "unambigous advertising" I am willing to learn. Thank you for your time. Howdy, I saw that you SD'ed this article. As I'm sure you saw on the talk page, I also questioned its notability. However, the page had already been tagged for SD and the SD was contested and subsequently removed. Additionally, to the best of my recollection the text was not G11 text. If the page had a problem it was notability. As such I would request that you restore the page and if you'd like you can put it up for prod or AfD. Joe407 ( talk) 15:17, 2 September 2009 (UTC)
Tnxman307:
I am reverting your deletion of the link to the CureMeso.org website from mesothelioma. This site is a non-proft, patient-focused resource that is completely independent of any legal agency. The educational site belongs in the list alongside the other 10 external links as a repository of mesothelioma research, info about clinical trials, and instructions for disease/patient advocacy. There is nothing advertorial about it. Please reconsider your swift deletions attributed to what you call an "advert link." Johnnygoat00 ( talk) 12:50, 31 August 2009 (UTC) Johnnygoat00 ( talk) 12:45, 31 August 2009 (UTC)
Tnxman307: I appreciate your response about Wikipedia not being a linkfarm (with which I agree), but I would appreciate even more an actual explanation for why you deem this link "inappropriate." Certainly, being a nonprofit is not reason enough to merit a link (and I wouldn't expect this), but arguably, being a nonprofit website that happens to contain mesothelioma research, clinical trial info, patient advocacy (non-litigious), and a mesothelioma discussion board are all reasons why the link should be included. This resource is just as legitimate and useful to readers (in an encyclopedic way per Wikipedia standards) as any of the nine .gov links that are already included in the external links. Are nine links exclusively to .gov sites not enough to be considered a link farm, where one link to a independent non-profit suddenly risks the section's bloating into a gluttonous orgy of haphazard linking? Please point me to the page that states there is an exclusive pro-.gov bias in Wikipedia's guidelines for external links.
Furthermore, "gaining consensus on the talk page" before adding this link suggests there is a significant number of people who oppose its inclusion. I see no such collective call for removal. All I see is your shifting labels of "advert link," "cleaning links," and "inappropriate," with an intimation of "link-farming." I cannot see logical explanations for why the link should not be included.
I respect your role as page gatekeeper, but I challenge you to defend your label of "inappropriate" beyond some vague, condescending inference that adding one meritorious non-profit link is equal to starting a link farm. On these new grounds, I am reverting your deletion of the link to the CureMeso.org website from mesothelioma. Johnnygoat00 ( talk) 14:39, 31 August 2009 (UTC)
Keep an eye on Johnnygoat00 - I reverted 2 edits where they inserted links to a mesothelioma lawyer's video web site. If you look at the edit history its clear this person works for some type of marketing firm and I believe the CureMeso link addition was to test the waters on how easy/difficult it would be to insert a legal link on the page. Hi,
I find issue on the fact that you deleted an article on Bonga Mogale on the basis that it is about a real person who is not notable. I beg to differ in that this person whom you have dismissed as not notable, is a professional soccer player in South Africa and has his name featured on an article presently available on your site, namely the 2008/2009 South African Premier League transfers. He is a collection of various players who are clearly not acknowledged on the site on the basis that seeing that they are not known worldwide, then that would qualify them as not notable. My argument is this: Wikipedia is an encyclopedia for the world therefore it should appeal and cater for the entire world. As a result, the amount of content added may be excessive however, it would obviously serve different purposes for different people. In South Africa, many soccer players are icons in their communities and have fans who span the lengths and breadths of this country. As a result, their notability far out reaches many more people who may have articles written about them. These fans want to find out more about their icons or players journeys, some in order to learn from their trials and tribulations that they went through, others merely knowing their history and realizing that since a particular player came from an area which they grew up in, they to can reach their goals and live those dreams. I have noticed that no one in South Africa has been given the oppurtunity to submit articles on their heros and herones that are playing football, although there is a minor group of these players that is acknowledged. Although some players may be local, they are also afforded recognition and I feel wikipedia should come to the party, especially considering the background of these players. Soccer is the bread and butter of the South African people and as much as wikipedia may feel that Graeme Smith and co are notable, fans of South African soccer also feel that the likes of Jerry Skhosana, Linda Buthelezi, Sizwe Motaung, Bonga Mogale, Pere Ariweriya, Teko Modise, Benedict 'Tso' Vilakazi, Gift LEremi, etc are not given a simple biography explaining where they came from. If you feel my argument lacks no substance, google these names and see how many direct matches appear. If the person is not notable then google will only provide three matches, which would most probably be social networking sites. However, if they are notable, their names would appear in various places including your encyclopedia... that in itself is notability. Please consider this issue seriously as many South African children struggle to find information on their icons when they search wikipedia and this is the forum where they should be able to find out information about the very people they watch playing the sport that they love. It also applies where soccer fanatics in South Africa go through the updated transfer list which is provided and when clicking on a name, cannot find any information on the player because their biographies have been relegated to the 'not notable' pile. Regards.... Psmog ( talk) 16:07, 9 September 2009 (UTC)

I may need to tweak it by removing the oj=g, ri=n, and ci=a. They are not actually used very often. The homoglyph table still needs some adjustments. Chillum 05:19, 13 September 2009 (UTC)

I created a page for "International Committee for Abrasive Technology (ICAT)" which has been active since 2002. The symposium ISAAT, organized and sponsored by ICAT, has been a successful yearly event unique for researchers worldwide in the ultra/nano precision machining area. Each time, 80-200 researchers from countries and regions around the world, including Japan, Germany, China, UK, USA, Australia, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Russia, Ireland, Singapore, and India, would attend the symposium. The symposium emphasizes on practice techniques to improve precision and efficiency, while also welcomes theoretical examinations of the fabrication processes. Could you restore this page for many of us? Thank you very much.

I am writing an article on someone that I was in the Army with and with whom I worked for in the past. He has done some random things, but I think I know enough about him to write a page that is good enough to publish. I read up about writing your first article and have had some success. Unfortunately, I wrote that article first. I reposted it about 5 times, but it was deleted every time. Finally, you deleted it and protected the page so I cannot edit it anymore. Is there anyway that you can unprotect the page - I have (what I believe to be a quality article) that I want to post that clearly articulates why he is notable, what he did, and his relation to various subjects. Dear Tnxman307:
You deleted my page recently posted stating factually information about our company and products. I wrote it very generically and factually without the use of marketing or promotional terms. I provided links to validify the contents including ones to the FDA and DoD.
I'd like your comments as to what you felt was not good with the page. I looked at several companies that are actually our competition and did nothing different than any of them.
Regards, Mary K. Williams ( talk) 14:03, 23 October 2009 (UTC)
Dear Tnxman307 I appreciate your feedback and reviewed, as you suggested, 'notable'. Per the definition provided it gave: Notable means "worthy of being noted" or "attracting notice." It is not synonymous with "fame" or "importance." Please consider notable and demonstrable effects on culture, society, entertainment, athletics, economies, history, literature, science, or education.
Quite clearly we are not famous but indeed fulfill "worthy of being noted" or "attracting notice". Take for instance our certifications. The FDA and DoD recognize us. Furthermore we have notable effects on any number of the areas mentioned above. We have published studies done in prominent magazines.
If you would kindly review "OnBase" and "LaserFiche" you will recognize that they are no more notable than DocuWare; we all do the same thing and they are indeed listed. I appreciate your time and feedback. I wish you a nice weekend.

You blocked User: Garydubh on the report of User: Bastun
he removed an entry on the basis that it was written by User:Garydubh - it was not - he is completely incorrect - please talk to the user who made the entry directly and avoid unfounded and unverified allegations in the future - doubt if he made any effort to check this out - just jumped to an assumption. Furthermore allegations that that user had COI entries in this aricle are also incorrect - the user has made no contribution to discussion on this article since Jan 2009 and has had not entry in the article since April 2008 - you used this as a justification for blocking the user - again completley incorrect and unfounded. The user in question has no further interest in this article.
He made reference to a personal name in association with the accused user - the personal name is not a user name - do not use it here again.
He made reference to a company name in a derogatory manner implying that there was some issue with the work of the company - do not do so again.
Finally, if the article is about the official postcode system of Ireland - then the article should be removed as there is no official postcode system in Ireland yet and the provision of such is subject to an open tender comeptition which wikipedia discussion may prejudice and undermine and open yourselves and wikipedia to legal action.
Please do not mention relevant user name, personal name, company name or product name on the article or related discussion without the permission of the relevant owners. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.70.108.125 ( talk) 22:48, 23 October 2009 (UTC)

Hi there, I have uploaded some information about the website www.news-public.com - we have been est for over a year. We are more than a blog website. We are Citizen Journalism website that allow users to upload articles, videos and photos. Out site is no different to sites like Newsvine, Now Public and is close to sites Yahoo Buzz and Digg.
My question is what makes news-public any different to Newsvines and Now Public, is it that we arn't a business? I feel we make the guidelines apart from the business status. Cheers Scot24 ( talk) 17:22, 24 October 2009 (UTC)scot24 Scot24 ( talk) 17:22, 24 October 2009 (UTC)
After reading the guidelines, I fail to see why the above article about the above news site continues to be deleted. We have tried all forms of posting for this news organization, only to be instantly deleted. I sense some bias here on a great level. I have been a member for awhile, but seldom come here anymore, or use Wiki as a source simply because of the bias I see here. I am co-owner of NewsPublic, hence my interest in this matter. Dear Wikipedia monitor,
I am wondering why you deleted the entry for our school? I looked at the rules, and I did not post anything that is promotional. I did of course mention that our bursary program (which provides very poor children with admission to the school) exists due to donations from donors... but only did so in the context of explaining an integral part of our school, that of donations making it possible for poor children to go to our school. And this makes us very, very different from any other international school I know of.
I would love for you to take the time to answer me to explain why the article was deleted... I feel that having our school on the Wikipedia site is justifiable as I want to enable people looking for our school to be able to understand how we can do what we do for so many children.
I look forward to your reply as I also look forward to the reposting of our school page on wikipedia- of course respecting the rules and with your help!
Thank you and have a wonderful rest of your weekend. Sincerely, Jimperuzzo ( talk) 15:39, 25 October 2009 (UTC)
Jim Pastore, Headmaster, Island Academy International School two emails: <blanked>
That is a real shame. Of course when a school posts its mission statement, phrases such as the ones you object to will come up- mission statements inevitably use such language, and it would be remiss of a school article to not have the mission statement. I also agree that in general the "owner" of a company should not post about it on a site like Wikipedia. But how else am I do to so? Direct someone to do so? At other schools there is general someone who is a school employee who does the posting to Wikipedia... so perhaps my transparency is the problem in actually doing it myself on a Sunday morning.
Is it possible to repost and take out the offensive words "rich and broad"?
PS - thank you for watching out for me regarding spam. I don't usually worry about spam with my yahoo address as the filters are quite good, but of course I want to eliminate spam on our school sever where possible. Thank you.
I will do so on the sandbox. But as a very young school it is hard to have many 3rd party references/reliable sources to refer to. Thank you for your help. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jimperuzzo ( talk • contribs) 16:10, 25 October 2009 (UTC)

Hi Tnxman307. I have read in detail all the pages you suggested and would continue to debate my position. To answer your question would be difficult because I do not believe there is a yes or no answer. I’d like to think that I’m not alone in the world since I believe in “maybes” and “what ifs” :-).
To further my discussion with you on notability I offer the following for your review. Is it not notable when something (either a product or service or idea) is bettering our culture and ultimately forming history? This generation and I dare say, these times, are yearning to do what it can help the ecology and better our standards of living. Why not look towards the future by improving daily work habits so that we can enjoy life and allow time for creativity? I challenge you to ask yourself: what if there was something that could help the healthcare industry to lower costs and provide better care? What would the impact be? Is this not something society would refer to today and maybe tomorrow or maybe even next year?
I totally agree that Wiki is not for advertising. Stating true facts that are referene points for knowledge is what I would think Wiki was searching for. This is all I offered in my posting.
I await your reply. 24.39.153.124 ( talk) 15:59, 27 October 2009 (UTC)

I was just wondering why you deleted the Michael Brendel Sr page I made. I read the article that Wikipedia put up about it's speedy deletion, but thought I added enough stuff to correct it.
The page that they tell you to go to said that the person I was writing about needed to be a scholar or have recieved a notable award or honor. I added that he had received a Bachelor’s and a Master’s in Theology and later acquired Doctorate Degrees in Ministry and Divinity. I also said that Mr. Brendel was written about in the Who's Who in America two years in a row while living in West Virginia. While in WV, he started a Bible college, Mountain State Baptist College. He also was the Principal of a Christian School for two years and an Administrator for six.
I was just wondering if I could try to make the page again and see what they say. Thanks!!!! Tales From Thaer ( talk) 01:17, 28 October 2009 (UTC)Tales From Thaer

Hello Tnxman307! This is Khalidco who is the author of the page GCC6 that was quickly deleted for no expressed reason. The indication of importance of this page is far greater than what can be measured from someone in Australia for example. The page will provide information about a web site that is going to serve a large population in the Arabian Gulf (GCC) countries in ways that have not been available not too long ago. Further reading of A7 makes me wonder if we are both looking at the same page. I am the develper of that site and you can verify that using tools such a domaintools.com which will display to you the adminstrative contact person's email. The same emil is used when I registered with WIKIPEDIA. I plan to add to it and improve the appearanse as we go along. It would be nice to see stats about visitors and locations in this universe. If you know a way to do that, please let me know.
Khalid
p.s. I think you should've replied to my previous response or at least respect the hang-on tag that I've placed before you killed it.
Hello.. I have modified gcc6 and placed it in user:khalidco/sandbox. I've always seen pages on wiki that are still not yet complete. Moreover, the reason for the deletion is specified as A7 related. I am sure that there are so many existent pages that you can arguably tag for that criteria or another. Please look at the modified page in the sanbox folder and let me know if it is acceptable to wiki admins. It would be very useful to wiki visitors who can benefit from the site's services. Especially the ones in that part of the world. Gratsi. Signing to enable archiving. TN X Man 02:53, 1 November 2009 (UTC)

Hi TnxMan307, Could you identify what it was you objected to in the entry for Norb Technologies, please?
I based this page on the entry for a similar company which is already in Wikipedia. It was purposely made to be factual, neutral and non promotional in line with Wikipedia's guidelines.
The only thing I didn't add was a talk page entry to identify myself as having a COI, which I didn't realise was a requirement until after it was deleted !
Any advice from you would be much appreciated.

I have undone your speedy deletion of Zendesk. Both prod and speedy deletion had previously been declined and the page doesn't read like an ad. Certainly, the page is not a very good article, but that is b/c it has almost no content, not b/c it has ad content. More importantly, the subject does appear to be notable.
I've cleaned it up a bit & will try to expand it sometime his week.-- ThaddeusB ( talk) 15:18, 1 November 2009 (UTC)
Hi. You recently blocked Leroycronin ( talk · contribs) and his sockpuppet account Roy Cronin ( talk · contribs), both of which were used to vandalise the BLP Leroy Cronin. It seems he is back editing from 82.132.139.138. Should the IP also be blocked? Or perhaps the article would benefit from protection for a short while? Hi Tnxman307: Thank you for your input on the articles. I will work on the article page in the near future, too much on my plate today. Just a question, once you deleted my other article page, is it gone forever or can you put it live again so I don't have to start at ground zero? Figured it was worth a shot to just edit the one I started last time. Thanks for your help, I appreciate it. P.S. I may have another article, how does this work moving forward, do I just add it to the list on my article page with a link and they it is reviewed by someone at Wiki (I am assuming that if it's ok, it stays but what happens if you don't like it, does the entire DocuWare page go away or just the one listing? You apparently marked a picture for deletion on Bob Flanagan's page, and I was curious to how come?
I found the image and uploaded it, with what I assume was the correct manner and I did leave the source with where I found it. I have an email from the photographer saying it was okay to use it here and since it's a picture of Bob Flanagan and one not copy-righted, there is no fault with it.
If there is a problem with the way I submitted it, I would like to correct that so I can reassert the image, as it improves the page's quality significantly. I would love to work this out and help improve the page. I have been trying to do something for a while, but I seem to keep hitting failures.
Thank you for any help No Stahr ( talk) 01:09, 4 November 2009 (UTC)

Diego Jacobson has also had extensive critical acclaim, including, but not limited to, the following publications:

I have never submitted anything to Wikipedia, and now seeing it as being quite harsh but understandable. I believe the person is notable and worthy that he should be on Wikipedia. Hes a famous psychic medium in the northeast region.
According to A7 - An article about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (e.g. band, club, company, etc., except schools), or web content that does not indicate why its subject is important or significant.
It states that maybe I need to put up more reliable sources to make it factual. What do you suggest? And also can I get a copy of the text on the page since it took me 3 hours to figure out how to enter it in Wikipedia code.
Thanks

Why did you take down the page - I entered {{ hangon}} and two notes - the first that CorenBot was in error, as I had permission from Hidden Villa (I visited them two days ago to get permission to put a page up for them) and the second that I had already started rewriting it, and adding additional material and references to avoid possible copyright violation of coyping from the hidden villa website. Moments later, it went down.
Because I just created the page this am, my first draft was heavily copied from their website which is why it looked like advertising. I have been rewriting it all day. Now I see that I should have started construction in the Sandbox. Can you please return the text to me as a Word doc or whatever means works best for you so that I can re-post it in the Sandbox and rework it. I've done many other pages now and know what advertising is. My email is <blanked> if that helps. The reasoning that the user is consistently ignoring the warnings and messages sent by deleting them rather than replying to my warnings. Tnxman307, you wrote:
Decline reason: "I'm sorry, but the terms of your topic ban were clear. If you wish to be unblocked before the set expiration time of the block, you'll need to make a convincing argument that you did not violate the topic ban.
I think that Brews' did not violate his topic ban when interpreted reasonably. The topic ban means that Brews cannot participate in editing physics articles and participate in physics talk page disussions. I've made it clear a few times that this was unjustified, but that's my personal opinion. Brews must, of course, stick to his topic ban. Now, a problem with this topic ban is that physics is a huge field and that Brews is even banned from mentioning things even remotely connected to physics.
Under these circumstances, I would say that it is reasonable to not be overly pedantic. So, while Brews should not seek the boundaries of his topic ban by e.g. correcting a typo on a physics age, Brews should still be allowed to very briefly respond to a comment like he did here if he does his best to avoid to discuss any physics.
Now, Finell knows about Brews topic ban and he has been trying to convince Brews to make edits to articles and stay away from becomeing involved in Wiki policies. I am more positive about Brews being involved here, because I fear that Brews may leave Wikipedia altoghether if we tell him he can't do that eiter. Anyway, Finell, knowing about Brew's topic ban, decided to bring up the speed of light Arbcom case by commenting:
This proposed essay appears to be based on the unstated misconception that Wikipedia's policies, guidelines, and processes broke down in the Speed of light arbitration. It is understandable that editors who were sanctioned feel that way. Nevertheless, that case dealt appropriately with editors who were violating Wikipedia's policies and guidelines and thereby disrupting the project of writing an encyclopedia. —Finell (talk) 17:45, 10 November 2009 (UTC)
If you are Brews and you want to deny this, how are you going to do that? If you are reasonable then you have to allow Brews some space, albeit it minimal, to very briefly in a few words address this and do that in such a way as to avoid discussing any physics. And that is exactly what he did. He did gave two links which were relevant to the issue at hand and he avoided discussing any physics.
So, I would say that Brews did his best to stay within the boundaries of his topic ban. If you were in his position, you would have wanted to give a more detailed reply, so clearly an effort was made on his part to not do that. And that's precisely the purpose of the topic ban.
Had Brews gone to a physics page and corrected a typo, then that would have been a deliberate action. He would have had the reasonable choice not to do that. So, while in a certain sense he would have made a smaller physics related edit, it would still have been a far more grave violation of his topic ban.

You may want to create the article in a sandbox first (something like User:Jesuzfreak777/Sandbox) so you can improve it before moving it to the mainspace. My page 'TrustTone' was deleted according to the deletion policy (A7). This message is not to contest it but to understand the policy better. Since this was my first article it was 'modeled' after 'Zix_Corporation', 'Entrust' and 'Echoworx' pages. How is my approach different than these pages which are not deleted? It's hardly a conflict of interest to put up an informational page about a worthwhile cause. In addition, it's not promotion or advertising; it's simply information about a philanthropic adventure. It was written from a perfectly acceptable POV and the sources were reliable. Quite frankly, I don't think you had a good reason for deleting the page at all.

Hello. The various articles with names similar to this are a bit of a tangled knot. Thanks for your help with the housekeeping move, but could you please see Talk:Kansi: I believe that Kasi tribe would be the best home for the article about this group. As you can see I requested a move there from Kansi to Kasi tribe, and so far there have been no objections. Kassi looks like a better developed article at the moment, but is in fact just one of about a dozen forks created recently, and consists mainly of a copyvio from Google books that's been following this topic around. Hi,
I am wondering why this article - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EFL-Law was deleted?
It only was deleted when I mentioned it somewhere online. then within days, it was gone! I'd like an explanation and I'm not involved directly in any of the issues but to myself - it seemed like a fair and accurate description of events / facts.
Could you just tell me your reasonings and who requested such?

Hello, recently I was helping write the article "ChobbieWorld" but it got deleted 4 times due to "Unambiguous Advertising" now, I am sorry if I tried to advertise, but how? I mean, I messaged Wikipedia and they told me to Wikipediaze it, so I did by giving credit and removing all external links (except the Wikipedia article links) and it still got deleted, so I saw the administrators who deleted it, and the last one was "Tnxman307" so could we please discuss this furthermore? I do not think the article "ChobbieWorld" should be deleted because it is an MMOG like Club Penguin and Webkinz, yet they have Wikipedia articles. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dogbones156 ( talk • contribs) 18:05, 17 November 2009 (UTC)

Hello. I was about to decline the block request for 207.81.157.1 ( talk · contribs · logs · block log) but edit-conflicted with the bot that clears AIV. While investigating the report, I noticed that the IP had not edited since 16:26 yesterday. Additionally it looks like the IP obeyed the level-three warning issued to it at 16:27 yesterday because it has not vandalized since. However I have no idea why 18 hours later Harryzilber ( talk · contribs) improperly issued [17] another, escalated warning for the exact same edit from the previous day, and then reported the IP to AIV falsely claiming that the IP had vandalized after receiving a final warning [18]. Since the IP appears to have been both inactive and improperly warned and reported to AIV, you may wish to review your block. Please note that I have already left a message [19] for Harryzilber regarding his improper actions. Thank you for your time and consideration, — Kralizec! ( talk) 15:50, 10 November 2009 (UTC)

It has been covered by the local media (Arabic language) as well as local Jordanian bloggers and websites. While the site doesn't have international importance, the fact that it is the 1st Arabic-language Jordanian webTV geared towards a Jordanian audience makes it have at least some local significance. This is attested by the fact that it is one of the top 200 Jordanian sites in the 5 months since it's launch. Why was the recently created PetSmart Charities, Inc. page deleted? The page presented unbias, fact-based information about a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization championing saving the lives of homeless pets. The content was no different from the numerous other nonprofit entries on Wikipedia. In fact, it shed light to the many wonderful programs the organization does on behalf of animal welfare. The suggestion that it was advertising and had no significance is ridiculous...if you found it simply advertised, then you should delete every and all other nonprofit and for profit pages on Wikipedia. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Savehomelesspets ( talk • contribs) 04:23, 23 November 2009 (UTC)

Perhaps my bot's new homoglyph system is a bit too sensitive.
v=v, 4=a, oj=g, l=i; ri=n, ci=a
I may need to tweak it by removing the oj=g, ri=n, and ci=a. They are not actually used very often. The homoglyph table still needs some adjustments. Chillum 05:19, 13 September 2009 (UTC)

How are you. You asked to be more specific about what article that Brett Salisbury was deleted on. It was the wikipedia article Brett Salisbury that seemed slanted or promotional. If you simply go to search box in Brett Salisbury or google his name you will see wikipedia deleted it. Now its been re-written and is a neutral article but is still is the deleted section. Dear Sir,
I created a page for "International Committee for Abrasive Technology (ICAT)" which has been active since 2002.

Just a bit ago, I restored a block notice to the user's talk page, citing WP:BLANKING. But, when I re-read that guideline, I realized that I was mistaken - it appears that block notices are not protected - although the {{ ISP}} tag that the user removed earlier does appear to be protected by that guideline. As you had a subsequent edit to the user's talk page, I wanted to check with you before I reverted my restoration of the block notice and re-added the ISP tag. --- Barek ( talk • contribs) - 16:05, 23 September 2009 (UTC)

I promise that it will be a good addition to Wikipedia and that I wont let you down.

Thank you.

How can I create the page for Tony Wang? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Zelysion ( talk • contribs) 02:42, 26 October 2009 (UTC)

Listen here big guy, dont get so fired up because youre probably some fat guy who sits around going through people's wikipedia pages all day. Plus, who are you to tell me that Cole Brown isn't important? His dad is the CEO of Edens and Avant, one of the largest real estate organizations in the United States, not to mention that he started the Go Green Club in Columbia, South Carolina.

Hey!

Tnxman, FYI I saw that you blocked the user name "American Farriers Association." No sooner did you do so than someone created User:AFA-CJF and immediately began editing more horse hoof-related articles ( Laminitis, etc...check contribs). I can tell you that the AFA is a real organization, and mainstream, but no idea, of course, if this user actually has anything to do with the group (the creation of a sockpuppet hints that they are not.). Your call what you want to do about this username, and I will review the actual edits (I'm one of the "hardcore" members of WPEQ) for content, but figured that as you stuck on the block of the first user and the new one may well be a sockpuppet of the first, you'd want to know.

I based this page on the entry for a similar company which is already in Wikipedia. It was purposely made to be factual, neutral and non promotional in line with Wikipedia's guidelines.

I have undone your speedy deletion of Zendesk. Both prod and speedy deletion had previously been declined and the page doesn't read like an ad.

Diego Jacobson has also had extensive critical acclaim, including, but not limited to, the following publications:

Last, but not least, Diego Jacobson has published 7 books:

Thanks

Hey Tnxman307, I finished editing the page, and cited various sources on the page. How do I move it from my Sandbox to public view so you can screen it and see if any other changes I need to make. So the article can be credible, but I think I am getting the hang of the Wikipedia code.
Thanks,

Hey TnXman307,
How many independent sources do you need to make an article significant coverage. Ill look for other sources to add to it if that would be better. Let me know what I have to do to make it happen and I will.
Thanks,

Hello Tnxman307, I created a page for the German car tuner "Deutsche Manufaktur" but it was deleted by you.
I would like you to consider re-activating my contribition. The reason names for deletion was not relevant, but plenty of other pages about German car tuners exist, for example about "Hamann Motorsport".
Thank you very much for helping me on this issue!

Hello Tnxman307, I don't think you understood my reason. This is not an excuse but a complaint that the user has been deleting the edit over and over. I demand that a third person to see it themselves and they will see the truth of it. Willbender ( talk) 12:51, 9 November 2009 (UTC)
The reasoning that the user is consistently ignoring the warnings and messages sent by deleting them rather than replying to my warnings. Hi I have reworked the ASM wiki page, making it as straight and factual as possible. I have also added some references. It truly is the only yacht racing magazine for all of Australia and therefore a notable publication. I hope the edits satisfies your stringent requirements!
Unfortunately the website has not been up for very long. It has just been accepted by Google News as a worthy news source and we're sorting out the xml sitemap now.
BTW Yaffa Publishing was established in 1928, one of the few major independent publishing houses in Australia. We publish 30 magazines (both consumer and trade). Some of our mags are very niche.
