Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or other forms of media. Always remember to provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including

Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:
Hi Therius, what is your source for Batavia Air commencing KUL-LOP on 30 December. I cannot se a press release and the route is not appearing on the Batavia website. BTY, Ampenan is closed, the Seleparang Airport (AMI) was replaced by
Bandara Internasional Lombok (LOP) which opened for ops on 1 october 2011. Please let me know as this is a bit mysterious, also do you know if it is a direct flight LOP-KUL or does it have a technical stop in SUB, like Merpati does? -- cheers

V8 Supercar Specifications
The list of technical details you added to the V8 Supercars is not of much use as it is just repeating what is already written in the prose above. Please don't add it to the article again.
If you'd like to add the car dimensions and top speed they should be added as prose to the bodyshell and engine/drivetrain sections.

Thanks for uploading File:DTM Timo Scheider Audi A4 Oschersleben 2011.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of

Could you please take more care in your editing in future? Some of your recent edits to
2018 FIA Formula 2 Championship and
Dallara F2/18 have been completely unnecessary. It feels like you're padding the articles out with anything and everything remotely connected to the subject; for example, how is the launch date for the F2/18 an important detail for an article (much less the article lead)? Please don't make the mistake of thinking that something is automatically notable enough for inclusion simply because it happened.

You may want to consider using the
Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on
2019 Formula One season, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under
section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a
deletion discussion, such as at
Articles for Deletion. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discusion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by
visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with
Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request
here.

Replaceable fair use File:Josef Newgarden IndyCar 2017 St. Petersburg.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:Josef Newgarden IndyCar 2017 St. Petersburg.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of
fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the
first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:
Go to

Please stop editing
2018 FIA Formula 2 Championship to move the "Changes" section to the top of the article, as you did
here. Although the F2 2018 and engine are new, the convention for European motorsports articles is to list the entries and the calendar before changes regardless of how significant the changes are (as some context is needed). While the chassis and engine are new, they do not represent a significant change given that the series regularly schedules updates to the engine and chassis package.

Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to
Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at
WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the
bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at

Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that you recently added commentary to the

editors working on the same article will notice and respond to them, and your comments will not disrupt the flow of the article. Thank you!

An article you recently created,
Audi RS5 Turbo DTM, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from
reliable,
independent sources. (
?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (
verifiability is of
central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to

Consider archiving?
Hi. It appears your talk page is getting very long and may therefore require
archiving. According to
Wikipedia's user talk page guidelines; "Large talk pages become difficult to read, strain the limits of older browsers, and load slowly over slow internet connections. As a rule of thumb, archive closed discussions when a talk page exceeds 75 KB or has multiple resolved or stale discussions." - this talk page is currently 213 KB. See
Help:Archiving a talk page for instructions on how to manually archive your talk page, or to arrange for automatic archiving using a

Google Code-In 2019 is coming - please mentor some documentation tasks!
Hello,
Google Code-In, Google-organized contest in which the Wikimedia Foundation participates, starts in a few weeks. This contest is about taking high school students into the world of opensource. I'm sending you this message because you recently edited a documentation page at the English Wikipedia.
I would like to ask you to take part in Google Code-In as a mentor. That would mean to prepare at least one task (it can be documentation related, or something else - the other categories are Code, Design, Quality Assurance and Outreach) for the participants, and help the student to complete it. Please sign up at
the contest page and send us your Google account address to google-code-in-admins@lists.wikimedia.org, so we can invite you in!
From my own experience, Google Code-In can be fun, you can make several new friends, attract new people to your wiki and make them part of your community.
If you have any questions, please let us know at google-code-in-admins@lists.wikimedia.org.

Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution
Thank you for
your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from
NASCAR Cup Series into another page. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere,
Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an
edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and
linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at
Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Porsche Supercup If you are the sole author of the prose that was copied, attribution is not required. —

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Newcastle United 125 Years logo.png
Thank you for uploading File:Newcastle United 125 Years logo.png. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by
Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from
Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an
image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.
If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with
section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the
media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, articles should not be moved, as you did to
W Series (championship), without good reason. They should have a name that is both accurate and intuitive. Wikipedia has some
guidelines in place to help with this. Generally, a page should only be moved to a new title if the current name doesn't follow these guidelines. Also, if a page move is being discussed, consensus needs to be reached before anybody moves the page. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the
test Wikipedia. Take a look at the

I promise i will not violate any copyright in Wikipedia anymore. This is my explanation:
1. What is copyright? Answer: Copyright is a type of intellectual property that gives its owner the exclusive right to make copies of a creative work, usually for a limited time. The creative work may be in a literary, artistic, educational, or musical form. 2. How is Wikipedia licenced? Answer: The text of Wikipedia is copyrighted (automatically, under the Berne Convention) by Wikipedia editors and contributors and is formally licensed to the public under one or several liberal licenses. 3. Why is copyrighted content not allowed on Wikipedia? Answer: Because the database servers are located in the United States, Wikipedia is subject to US copyright law in this matter and may not host material which infringes US copyright law. 4. Under what circumstances can we use copyrighted content? Answer: Fair use allows limited use of copyrighted material without permission from the copyright holder for purposes such as criticism, parody, news reporting, research and scholarship, and teaching. There are four factors to consider when determining whether your use is a fair one. 5. How do you intend to avoid violating the copyright policy in the future? Answer: 1. Create original images or music in advertisements. Businesses can use in-house staff or freelancers to create original graphics, content, music and more for their marketing materials. 2. Obtain the appropriate licenses from copyright holders. 3. Use royalty-free media.

Answer: Most of Wikipedia's text and many of its images are co-licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported License (CC BY-SA) and the GNU Free Documentation License (GFDL) (unversioned, with no invariant sections, front-cover texts, or back-cover texts). Wikipedia:FAQ/Copyright#Wikipedia and fair use) 4. Under what circumstances can we use copyrighted content? Answer: Under very narrow circumstances, copyrighted images and text can be used without permission under the "fair use" clause of US copyright law. Limited use of copyrighted text, for example, can be done without requiring permission from the rights holders for such things as scholarship and review. (source:
Wikipedia:FAQ/Copyright#Can I add something to Wikipedia_that I got from somewhere else?) 5. How do you intend to avoid violating the copyright policy in the future? Answer: 1. Obtain the appropriate licenses from copyright holders. 3. Use royalty-free media. (source:

Replaceable fair use File:Red Bull Racing 2021 logo.png
Thanks for uploading File:Red Bull Racing 2021 logo.png.
Go to
the file description page and add the text {{

On
the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification, per the

Sockpuppet investigation
An editor has opened an investigation into
sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at
Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/TheriusRooney, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with
the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.

-- cheers

The list of technical details you added to the V8 Supercars is not of much use as it is just repeating what is already written in the prose above. Please don't add it to the article again.
If you'd like to add the car dimensions and top speed they should be added as prose to the bodyshell and engine/drivetrain sections.

If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request
here.

Thanks for uploading File:BMW M8 GTE.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a
claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see
our policy for non-free media).
Thanks for uploading File:BMW M8 GTE.jpg.
Go to
the file description page and add the text {{di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}}below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
On
the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the
non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the
Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that you recently added commentary to the

talk page. If you post your comments there, other
editors working on the same article will notice and respond to them, and your comments will not disrupt the flow of the article. Thank you!

An article you recently created,
Audi RS5 Turbo DTM, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from
reliable,
independent sources. (
?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (
verifiability is of
central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to
draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's

See

What is copyright?
How is Wikipedia licenced?

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the

Answer: Under very narrow circumstances, copyrighted images and text can be used without permission under the "fair use" clause of US copyright law. Limited use of copyrighted text, for example, can be done without requiring permission from the rights holders for such things as scholarship and review. (source:
Wikipedia:FAQ/Copyright#Can I add something to Wikipedia_that I got from somewhere else?) 5. How do you intend to avoid violating the copyright policy in the future? Answer: 1. Create original images or music in advertisements. Businesses can use in-house staff or freelancers to create original graphics, content, music and more for their marketing materials. 2. Obtain the appropriate licenses from copyright holders. 3. Use royalty-free media. (source:

Hello, TheriusRooney. This is a bot-delivered message letting you know that
Draft:Renault Campus, a page you created, has not been edited in at least 5 months. Draft space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for
article space.
If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion under

Replaceable fair use File:Red Bull Racing 2021 logo.png
Thanks for uploading File:Red Bull Racing 2021 logo.png.
Go to
the file description page and add the text {{
Di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}}below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
On
the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification, per the
non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the
Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
