If you are going to ask me why i marked your article for speedy deletion.
Hello Rolling Camel. Could you take a look at the Neil Reidman article once more. You placed a Cleanup tag on the article. I've worked on it and think we should remove the tag. Please let me know what you think. Thanks. Doctorfun ( talk) 06:43, 30 December 2008 (UTC)
Hi. I'd appreciate it if you would create these articles only if you supply them with a WP:reliable source to make them verifiable. They'll be deleted otherwise. Thanks, Sandstein 21:04, 21 December 2008 (UTC)
A tag has been placed on Teknikmagasinet AB requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company or corporation, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for companies and corporations.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{
hangon}}
to the top of
the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on
the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact
one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you.

Please be careful of your foramtting when doing a non-admin closure in AFD. Your closure of Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Greg renkas left off the {{ afd-bottom}} tag, and misplaced teh {{ afd-top}} tag as well as not removing the categorization template {{ REMOVE THIS TEMPLATE WHEN CLOSING THIS AfD}}. Also, the templates being added needs substitution. If you are not famailiar with closing a deletion discussion, you should review WP:DELPRO for the details. I've fixed it up but these are things to keep in mind for next time. Regards. -- Whpq ( talk) 21:24, 13 January 2009 (UTC)
A tag has been placed on Meininger requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.
If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{
hangon}}
to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on
the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. -- Finngall talk 23:24, 13 January 2009 (UTC)
Many thanks for your answer on how the distance is measured. I now know it is the middle of the feet or halfway between them, which had been puzzling me. I still find it difficult to understand how the judges can see this accurately. When the jumpers are moving so fast, the exact point of landing must be very difficult to see. Is there some magic eye similar to that used in tennis to see if shots are in or out? Patche99z ( talk) 18:43, 20 January 2009 (UTC)
Well, I didn't really fancy that article subject. The person has not competed in the World Cup, and hasn't even finished among the top 30 in the Continental Cup.. Punkmorten ( talk) 10:11, 21 January 2009 (UTC)
When you open the edit screen on the nomination page, it lists several possible templates you can use to nominate entries. Could you try using them? It saves a lot of time. - Mgm| (talk) 13:29, 21 January 2009 (UTC)
Regarding this edit - please be careful when tagging files for speedy deletion. Note that I10 applies solely to files which are not images, sound, or video. I already reverted. ( ESkog)( Talk) 21:13, 21 January 2009 (UTC)
Fixed it up nice. Its a keeper now. Looks like snow. Best, Schmidt, MICHAEL Q. 03:28, 25 January 2009 (UTC)
Hi Rolling Camel! Please be careful about nominating article for speedy deletion, as you did to Zavena, Switzerland. A one-line article about a town is perfectly valid as a sub-stub, but if you still believe that it satisfies the criteria for speedy deletion, make sure to add the tag on top of the article, without also blanking the page. -- Ynhockey ( Talk) 18:31, 26 January 2009 (UTC)
