An article you worked on, Charter Arms Bulldog, has been submitted for Good Article Review and placed on hold pending one or more changes. Comments have been left on the talk page of the article including suggested improvements. Please send me a message when or if improvements have been made, and I'll take another look at the article. Good luck in the review process! JKBrooks85 20:47, 23 October 2007 (UTC)
Thank you for making a report about 24.189.188.34 ( talk · contribs · block log) on Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism. Reporting and removing vandalism is vital to the functioning of Wikipedia and all users are encouraged to revert, warn, and report vandalism. However, administrators are generally only able to block users if they have received a recent final warning (one that mentions that the user may be blocked) and they have recently vandalized after that warning was given. The reported user has not yet been blocked because it appears this has not occurred yet. If this user continues to vandalize even after their final warning, please report them to the AIV noticeboard again. Thank you! TigerShark 00:59, 2 November 2007 (UTC)

Hi. I see that you recently gave a vandalism warning to Madzach1095. You used the third warning in a series of four warnings. If someone does vandalize a page, please use only the first warning if it is their first offense, and advance after each subsequent vandalism edit by that user. I suggest that you read this page, which gives information and examples of how to adequately warn users for vandalism and how the four-warning idea works. If you report a user at Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism, chances are the vandal won't get blocked unless they've been sufficiently warned. If you have any questions, please ask on my talk page. Tim meh contribs 03:42, 6 January 2008 (UTC)

I just thought you'd like to know that the reason I named the station "Harvey (Metra Electric)" was that it sounded too close to being like Harvard (Metra) station. -- DanTD ( talk) 14:25, 8 May 2008 (UTC)
Thank you for the warm welcome. I will be sure to look into the helpful information you've sent my way. Kristacinthia ( talk) 00:38, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
Hello, TheCatalyst31 ...
I saw your recent edit to this article, and thought that I would introduce myself, and point out a few related articles that are also on my Watchlist:
My father server with Fox in the 366th (he was awarded three Purple Hearts and two Bronze Stars) ... I host a John R. Fox memorial site and a site for the 366th Infantry Regiment Veterans Association.

Nothing new, just to mention you a user from DE WP "updated" the {{ imagemap}} which station bullet is currently transcluded along with the new parameters format. Now everything should look OK (I hope) by slightly altering the parameters in station bullet. -- Sameboat - 同舟 ( talk) 23:24, 17 June 2008 (UTC)

Baseball WikiProject Newsletter![]() | |

Baseball has a history unlike any other sport. It has been played in countless countries throughout the decades, and it will undoubtedly continue play for many more. On this eve, some the finest players the sport has to offer will take the field at the Yankee Stadium. Four popes spoke there, Pelé scored goals there, " The Greatest [football] Game Ever Played" was battled out there, John Philip Sousa lead a band there, George Costanza worked there; but what do all these events have in common? They fail to reach the level of greatness that the baseball that was played there did. In 1923, a man named Babe Ruth decided to build a new house, and over the years, that house was a home to some of the greatest baseball ever played. If I were to list out all of these great moments, it would be longer than the bill for the New Yankee Stadium. So I'll sum it up by saying that we can remember these great moments by adding them to this place we've gathered at for future generations to read about, to learn about, to dream about; but more importantly we can watch tonight and we can remember how baseball is unlike anything else that we will encounter in our lives. — Black ngold29 |
