Hi Edward. Thanks for the welcome. I'm John from Dublin Ireland and I'm new but getting the hang quick. Will be in toronto next month on business as it happens. my pet project now is getting the Carvaggio page up to date. PalX 20:54, 20 September 2005 (UTC)
I noticed you asked this on Wikipedia_talk:How_to_revert_a_page_to_an_earlier_version about a week ago, and I thought I'd fill you in if someone hasn't already. I wondered about that myself, you see, and it took me awhile to find the answer. If you look at the Wikipedia:Revert article, it describes the rollback feature for admins, and how it automatically adds that to edit summaries. For those of us who aren't admins, we can manually add the whole rigamarole to our edit summaries, but it's not necessary. I tried it for awhile, but it was too much typing and I was too lazy to set up a macro. - Abe Dashiell 17:32, 19 October 2005 (UTC)
Hello. I've tracked down more detailed information about VLBI imaging of Sgr A*'s accretion disc and modified the article appropriately. In the future, when modifying a technical article, something along the lines of "group X used technique Y to produce evidence for this" will get a better reception than "this was prooved on (date of press release)". Your enthusiasm is definitely appreciated! Just please try to match the tone of the rest of the article. -- Christopher Thomas 06:42, 5 November 2005 (UTC)
Welcome to the Tropical Cyclone Wikiproject! I see you have worked on some Atlantic hurricane articles, and we are glad you decided to join the project. Though it seems you work mostly on current seasons, any realm of the project that you can help with would be greatly appreciated. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me or prose a question at our headquarters. I look forward to your contributions, and I'll see you around. Hurricanehink 03:57, 20 February 2006 (UTC)
Dear Tropical cyclone editor,
As a member of the Tropical Cyclone Wikiproject, you are receiving this message to describe how you can better tropical cyclone articles. There are hundreds of tropical cyclone articles, though many of them are poorly organized and lacking in information. Using the existing featured articles as a guide line, here is the basic format for the ideal tropical cyclone article.
Good luck with future writing, and if you have a question about the above, don't hesitate to ask.

The assessment scale
As you may have gathered, discussions have been raging for about a week on the Esperanza talk page as to the future direction of Esperanza. Some of these are still ongoing and warrant more input (such as the idea to scrap the members list altogether). However, some decisions have been made and the charter has hence been amended. See what happened. Basically, the whole leadership has had a reshuffle, so please review the new, improved charter.
As a result, we are electing 4 people this month. They will replace JoanneB and Pschemp and form a new tranche A, serving until December. Elections will begin on 2006-07-02 and last until 2006-07-09. If you wish to run for a Council position, add your name to the list before 2006-07-02. For more details, see Wikipedia:Esperanza/June 2006 elections.
