Thanks for uploading Image:Wow-sprintRelaySolutions.gif. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:

, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Hi, I just wanted to drop a personal message -- I really support adding info to the TRS articles, however those are copyrighted images, and they're not really fair use.. Let me know if you've got any questions.. —Cliffb 04:46, 30 January 2007 (UTC)
Hi, my reply to your message can be found here. All the best, <KF> 12:28, 4 February 2007 (UTC)
I will get on this. It could take me some time. I notices on the page that the images that matched the description Telecommunications Relay Service of your request were up for deletion. What kind of time fame do I have. the more time the better that way I can work it in.

Thanks for uploading Image:Screen volcanoaxem-new.gif. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the " my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. The image that you have uploaded is decorative at Super Sentai and will be at Power Rangers if you add it there. It is probably decorative at Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. Hi Taric25. I'm seeking opinions and possible support for an issue in which I'm in a debate with other Wikipedians. I'm trying to change indiscrimant use of the term "deaf-mute" in describing deaf people in general. To see some comments related to the issue, see Talk:The Heart Is a Lonely Hunter, as well as my own Talk page, User talk:Ward3001. You can also follow the links to other discussions. Right now I'm about the only person addressing the issue because deaf people are such a small minority. Other Wikipedians, with apparently no prior knowledge of the issue, are reverting my edits. If you're interesting in expressing your opinion, feel free to do so. If you wish to discuss further please leave me a message on my Talk page. Thanks. Ward3001 18:01, 4 March 2007 (UTC)
24.0.97.119 ignored the mediation request (neither agreeing nor disagreeing), yet continues to revert "deaf" to "deaf-mute". Please continue to monitor The Heart Is a Lonely Hunter. If this continues, I will ask everyone's opinion about seeking formal arbitration from Wikipedia. Arbitration results in a binding decision. Thanks. Ward3001 00:38, 9 March 2007 (UTC)
I've really lost my patience in dealing with this. A citation is just as unnecessary as an image for the article, and the Super Mario Cruft has got to stop, there. They're in the game, we know that. But it's not necessary to spend time and energy to give it so much more focus in the article. Please, just stop. The Axemrangers are mentioned, and that's seriously good enough.— Ryūlóng ( 竜龍) 08:49, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
Hi! You should study the category system a bit more before making changes such as the ones you have made to Category:User ase and its subcategories. The categories are a hierarcy, and it is thus unnecessary to list Category:User ase-2 in all of the categories you added to it. Read more about categories on Wikipedia:Categories. Hi, I noticed your userpage says you have a knowledge of American Sign Language and the SignWriting system. You may be interested in participating in a new proposed Wikipedia in American Sign Language, to be written using SignWriting. Hello! Have you been adopted by Cliffb ? if so please remove the adoptee's userbox from your userpage. if you have any questions please message me on my talk page. thank you for your time. Matthew Yeager 03:38, 30 April 2007 (UTC)
Hello again and welcome to the adoption program!
Please take some time to think about what you would like out of this program and what you can devote to it. After you have thought about this please message me on my talk page about which areas you would like to focus on. As well, if you are completely new or you are not sure, you can let me know that and I can give you a general overview. You will get as much as you put in with this program. If you would like me to be someone that you can ask questions to every once and a while, then thats who i'll be. Yet, if you wish to be in constant contact with me and have me go over your work with you each day or so, then thats who i will be. This is your choice, just please let me know :P
Also if you could please remove the adoptee userbox from your userpage so that others know you have been adopted. If you like you can replace it with this user box: {{
adoptee}} Thank you for your time,
Matthew Yeager

A tag has been placed on List of locations in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that
administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{
hangon}}
to the page and state your intention on the article's
talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this.

look my ideas over and think about it. see if you think this is a good idea or if you have any questions.
heres the plan.
Cleaning up the page is needed as its growing to an almost unmanageable state. I think its a good improvement no matter what. this will automatically make the conversation easier to follow and read... as having countless comments on a page can discourage new editors from wanting to read all of it and that often causes them to repeat questions or comments because they dont have the time to read everything.
Also, the other editor saying that it should be left alone just because other pages are like that is a bad reason. Wikipedia is about doing whats best for Wikipedia and if that is putting it in a different order, then thats what should be done. my advice is to do the above, clean it up and archive the inactive sections. after you have done that and everyone is cool with it, take a look at things and see if it needs to be reformatted into groups and not by dates. If after that you still feel that it needs to change, let me know and i'll look over it to see what the best way to move on from there. let me know what you think about this and if you have any questions.

Personally, I think list of locations in a video game is not very encyclopedic, if they can't be put into a paragraph in the game description, maybe it is better not to keep it. Especially if the location is not really known. The Rainbow Road in Mario Kart games is a classic that has appeared in many games of the series, however some of those locations have appeared just once. Some paragraphs are walkthroughs, something policy forbids. In example,
The third and final area, east of the second, is the largest of the three. Vegetation is closer in appearance to the first area than the second, and other life is different from both. Spikeys, sometimes appearing in battle with a Sky Troopa, and a lone Spikey–dropping Lakitu inhabit the third and final area that widens into a small field in the east. Hammer Bros. guard the exit leading to the Mushroom Kingdom from anyone who dares come near, and Mario defeats them, freeing the exit.
You need to find references other than the game itself, like a printed guide, a manual, an interview with the developers, etc, to make it better. Right now, it appears to be a good attempt but lacking a lot of real-life information. Cheers! -- ReyBrujo 01:25, 15 May 2007 (UTC)
I'm so glad that hear your message in Chinese Wikipedia.
Well , actually 塔里克 and 泰力 both are correct , in Mandarin and Cantonese.
There aren't few Cantonese user in Chinese Wikipedia , so I would add a -{zh-cn:塔里克;zh-hk:泰力}-sign for it.

Hey Matthew, I hope you're day's going well. List of locations in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars is coming along. Thanks fot your help! I'm having trouble again with one of my edits, and I don't know what to do in this edit war. Could you take a look at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Video games#Template:Infobox VG footnotes? Thanks! Taric25 18:42, 21 May 2007 (UTC)
It looks really good. Sorry I can't help too directly; I'm in the middle of a bad week at school. Lots of stuff going on. Off the top of my head, try to condense the actual locations into seven sections (one for each star) and make it prose. That'll go a long way. I like to concept/creation and reception sections. The metaphysics section seems kinda iffy but we can work on that later. Axem Titanium 21:55, 29 May 2007 (UTC)
I am also a little busy to help right now. I also kind of gave up on that article, I couldn't reduce original research faster than it flooded in. I'll take a look, but I can't make any promises. i kan reed 01:37, 30 May 2007 (UTC)
Hey there,
I'm currently writing List of locations in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, and I saw you are the Wikipedian to contact in Wikipedia:WikiProject Video games/Magazines for Next Generation Magazine issues 12 (December 1995) and 18 (June 1996), which have information about the game.
So… how does this work? Do you have the magazine scanned? Taric25 02:41, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
In regards to your recent edit to WikiProject Video games/Article guidelines, I think perhaps you don't understand what the passive voice means for video game articles. It wouldn't be an issue with WP:WEASEL or the Manual of Style. The passive voice is a valid writing technique for cases like this. Andre ( talk) 20:23, 29 June 2007 (UTC)

First of all I was thinking of greatly reducing the the profiles for Mario, Bowser, and Peach, however I can modify the links to their pages to the section of that page and I have already confirmed that Bowser and Peach's pages in the least already have the details of the plot detail from Super Mario RPG. The point is the material won't be wasted most of it will be detailed in their personal page and I have seen some successful attempts of this strategy by performed before. - Adv193 15:54, 29 September 2007 (UTC)
Wikipedia:WikiProject Scotland wants to use {{ User en-sc}} for Scottish English, and I have suggested they follow ISO code to use {{ User en-gb-sct}} instead and allow en-sc instead for Seychellois English, per the ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 having "sc" Seychelles and ISO 3166-1:GB#BS-only codes having "gb-sct" as Scotland, just like ISO 3166-1:US having "us-ca" for California and {{ User en-us-ca}} for California English. Could you please take a look at Wikipedia:User categories for discussion#Scottish English and give your thoughts? Thanks!
By the way, I noticed we both speak Arabic. ☺ Taric25 16:37, 25 September 2007 (UTC)

You recently put something about Super Mario RPG locations on my talk page, and I have no idea why you're asking me. The only thing I've ever done with that article is fix a grammar error. I've never even looked at the talk page until today. MayumiTsuji 02:11, 1 October 2007 (UTC)MayumiTsuji
I'm sorry, but why have you come to me with this? I don't deal with merges and such. And the article doesn't meet the GA criteria, so I'm actually really surprised you've pointed it out. Why is the development section empty? It's not comprehensive, which is a GA requirement. A list of fictional locations and such do not meet notability guidelines, in my opinion. Merge them into the article then finish it. Writing a development section should be priority 1, otherwise, it's going to get delisted. Lara ❤ Love 02:16, 1 October 2007 (UTC)
Thanks for uploading Image:Manhuntcd.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. BetacommandBot 10:27, 1 October 2007 (UTC)
Just a heads-up - Collard wasn't the original uploader of those Enterprise pics, he just does a lot of image resizing. You may want to check the image history to find the real uploader(s). Good find on the free pics, by the way. Videmus Omnia Talk 20:08, 3 October 2007 (UTC)
Hi. I noted the US Army's request for the picture credit, but in your edit it appeared twice, once in the cation and once at the end of the article. I've put it back to the footnotes again. All the best. -- Old Moonraker 20:50, 3 October 2007 (UTC)
I'm fully aware of the rules governing replaceable fair-use images. But for future reference, please bear in mind that I am not the original uploader of these pictures. A couple of months ago I went through and resized hundreds upon hundreds of these; doing this is necessary for a fair use claim. The original (non-resized) versions of these were deleted, therefore, the pictures appear to be uploaded by me, but they are not. Please keep my blood pressure under control by not warning me of these again. :) Lewis Collard! ( rock me mama like a southbound train) 20:52, 3 October 2007 (UTC)

Are you willing to actually discuss cutting down the content of the article yet (I mean "sourced" content)? I mean, you just added a section that is 95% gameplay information. That's the kind of information that has no place there. TTN 16:21, 5 October 2007 (UTC)
Hello, I received a message from you that I do not understand. I have posted some images of Star Trek characters on the character pages, and they are non-free images. If you are questioning that free use images of the Trek characters can be obtained, they cannot, as they are fictional characters and all images of them are such copyrighted. Are you questioning all character images for all television shows throughout Wikipedia? The only image I uploaded of Uhura was a screencap, and it was later repalced by another user who claimed it was free use replacing the non-free use, and I never changed it back. As far as Bakula and Trinneer go, the images again aren't mine, and have a rationale saying they were taken by US military, making them free. Any use of character images on actor pages, if that might be in question, is prohibited, and I have removed several, as we need free use real world images for the actor pages. Please clarify your message because I don't understand what you're saying. Thanks. Ejfetters 04:31, 6 October 2007 (UTC)
Hi, I don't know if you remeber but you changed my userbox from (en-sco) to (en-gb-sco), a userbox that you created. Though it seems very clever may I point out that the userbox looks exactly the same and therefore I personaly see little point in it.
More importantly I find it extremely rude and improper that you edited my userpage. It is my job to edit it, not yours. It is my page, not yours. Please ask me before you do so in future. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tommer312 ( talk • contribs) 10:08, 6 October 2007 (UTC)
Taric25, I apologise for my comments against the new userbox (en-gb-sco) before. I had not realised the issue between scottish english and sechellois english. However, I do mantain my views on editing other people's userpages. If you felt it needed to be changed then you could have left me a message explaining (clearly) the situation. I then would have been happy to change it. You changing it of your own accord made me feel invaded and I, again, felt it rude and improper. Thanks. Tommer312 10:17, 6 October 2007 (UTC)Tommer312

Hello, you recently removed some categories from one or more of my uploads. You stated in your edit summary, "removed innaropriate Categories", however, you did not explain why the categories are inappropriate for the arwork in question. Category:2006 - The pictures were taken in 2006. Category:1985 births - The subject was born in 1985. Category:Living people - The subject is a person who is still living. Category:People by alphabet - The subject has a first and last name, with a {{ DEFAULTSORT}} template included. Adult models from the United States - The subject is an adult model from the United states. Please understand that Wikimedia Commons is not censored, including the artwork in question. Please reply to this message on my talk page. Thank you. Taric25 09:56, 8 October 2007 (UTC)
Again you have placed photos in categories where all you have to do is place your name category? Go to the other categories you put them in and you will also see names in either articles or subcategories, that is all you need is your name category, put the photos in your name category only please WayneRay 11:45, 8 October 2007 (UTC)WayneRay

Hi, there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to
talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should
sign your posts by typing four
tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the
Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button
located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --

Excuse me but if you do not know why something is as it is please do not edit it. You not only changed a template to a wrong version but also left the residue behind. You only took out includeonly tags, common to every userbox that places a userpage in a category. Please refrain from making such edits in the future without reading up on them first. - Sox 207 20:54, 10 October 2007 (UTC)
Hi. You tagged Image:Super Empire Strikes Back box art.jpg with {{ Db-redundantimage}} to mark it for speedy deletion under CSD I1 as being redundant with Image:Super Star Wars - The Empire Strikes Back Coverart.png. These two files are in different file formats, so this is not a valid CSD I1 speedy. The jpg image was already tagged as an orphaned non-free image, so no further action was necessary to have the image deleted. Furthermore, please do not list speedy deletion candidates at Wikipedia:Images and media for deletion. Thanks, Pagra shtak 17:16, 11 October 2007 (UTC)
Thanks for uploading
Image:Cameo smrpg01.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a
claim of fair use. However, it is currently
orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed.
You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see
our policy for non-free media).
Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. βcommand 22:03, 11 October 2007 (UTC)

Also if you could please remove the adoptee userbox from your userpage so that others know you have been adopted. If you like you can replace it with this user box: {{
adoptee}} Thank you for your time,

A tag has been placed on List of locations in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that
administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{
hangon}}
to the page and state your intention on the article's

Thanks so much! I think User:TTN must have caught on somehow, (such as reading the Vallage Pump or my talk page) because when I checked the talk page this morning, he already moved and archived the talk page! I'm refactoring it with an FAQ section now. Taric25 20:49, 13 May 2007 (UTC)
i will look into this and mark my opinion on the articles deletion page later on today. i'm most unpleased with this user who seems to be trolling you. hopefully i'll come to save the day :P Matthew Yeager 13:40, 14 May 2007 (UTC)

Brilliant edit. I didn't think of using <noinclude>
to hide the template instructions. That was why I moved them to footnotes in the first place--I thought it was distracting to the reader. Thanks! —

Thanks!

Category:People by alphabet - The subject has a first and last name, with a {{ DEFAULTSORT}} template included. talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should
sign your posts by typing four
tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment.
Thank you! --
