I attempted to delete "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA V. I simply did not know how to delete it, which is why it shows up.

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. Hi, any time you add content to an article, it is not considered a minor edit. Please only use the minor-edit check box when changing formatting, correcting errors, or other truly minor things. Thank you. Why must I repeatedly ask for you to follow this simple editing courtesy? There is a good reason for asking. Why? Because when you don't sign, an automatic "bot" or program finds your talk page posting and adds a signature. These bot signings show up in the talk page history. Many editors elect not to show bots on their watch lists. When that occurs, and you have failed to sign, the posting you made does not show up. Again, please follow proper procedure. Thank you. – S. Hi, Rich: I am not as savvy as I should be on this. We just started communicating on this yesterday and I think I have done a lot already. Remember I am just a graduate student (Not IT) and therefore I am not an expert on computers or programming. I appreciate that you have made positive changes on our article that we have been working hard on for over a year, The idea about Wikipedia is to open the doors to non IT people and allow them to contribute and we have been trying to do this. I have accepted all of your changes without objection even though some of the items deleted were important to us. You are the expert and we appreciate your knowledge. I am going to step back and let my teammates take the lead on this article for a while to avoid any more mistakes, the research part of this was fun for me but making mistakes is not. Sandy, you've been asked 6 times to sign your talk page messages (5 times here and once on the article talk page). Look above for the instructions. Signing means you type 4 tilde marks ~~~~, those little squiggly lines. When you hit the "Save page" button, your signature will appear in the saved edit. The "~" key is probably in the upper left corner of your typewriter keyboard. A "bot" is like short for "robot". Bots are little programs or applications that look at articles, talk pages, user edits, etc. and then fix problems. So the Sinebot comes along, sees that you did not sign, and adds the signature. Next it posts a message to you that says "Please remember to sign". Other bots will look for unbalanced brackets -- like [[ two brackets on one side and three on the other ]]] -- citation errors, etc. Sometimes editors employ bots to individually fix problems. Hi, Rich: I just read the other part of your message. There were a couple of former graduate student of Gutheinz working on this article from years back. However, no one that has contributed to this article, to include people who just sent in pictures, were current students of Gutheinz. I know Elizabeth Riker and Sandy Shelton were asked for pictures and sent them in, but neither of them worked on the article and both of them were students of his in 2009 and 2010.
