Hi there!
Sorry for bothering you. I'm Nuno, let me just give you a little bit of background. Back in 2012, when I remixed the Fado track, it was one of the first things to really go viral. I was invited to tv, and the track played in tv shows aswell. Unfortunately, since it was in 2012, I can't find anything about that online, just a couple of uploaded videos on YouTube with thousands of views. But the track is for sale. What you can check is that I am in fact the first producer to legally remix a "Fado" (traditional Portuguese singing) with house music. Fado is usually very sad, and for the first time, people sang in Portuguese and danced to it. I know it may not be very notable, a lot of people have done more. But I'm trying to come back on my feet, and get all my info together correctly. There's no exaggeration of facts or lies. Unfortunately there isn't much info.
Can you help me here? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kalim3ru ( talk • contribs) 00:58, 28 April 2020 (UTC)

What can I do so submission be accepted. I already gave the correct information and weblinks connected to the biography of the 'subject' in word. Did go through the checking tools and the page seems to be okay. Can you specify what I should do to get this fixed. I don't know if you have seen or checked it right, but I am doing for a new artist (Singer) that is verified on Spotify and has just released his first song also has new songs upcoming. Your recent editing history at Henry Masterson III shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Hi Sulfurboy, thanks for the quick reply! I am the sister of Daniel Lewis, I don't get any financial gain from this and do not represent him. I read up on the rules and don't see anything against this but correct me if I'm wrong. I just thought it would make sense to make a page as I have had a lot of schools, organisations and individuals ask information on him and with a common name it is easy to stumble on the wrong Daniel Lewis through a Google search. After reading over the guidelines I think he deserves and qualifies to be on wikipedia as a notable person and all the other competitors in the Commonwealth games final also have wiki pages. If this is incorrect and the page should not be created then please let me know — Preceding unsigned comment added by Global247 ( talk • contribs) 11:18, 28 April 2020 (UTC)
Dear Editor,
I recently published my first article and it was declined by you. You've mentioned that it might be a paid article, which is not. I have edited a few articles on Sri Lankan athletes in the past and I came across this company on the internet. I thought it is worth the article since the company (from India) has been gaining a lot of attention in the 'Growth Hacking' field. The company has won a few awards in a short time span. Please be kind enough to let me know what I should remove from the content so it could be published. I was excited to publish since it is a company by two Indians who have dominated the market in USA. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Gayesh Senevirathne ( talk • contribs) 05:39, 28 April 2020 (UTC)

Hi,
I created an article about a college softball head coach named Cindy Ball-Malone. I had created other pages just like it that were approved and that one wasn’t and it was deleted. I tried recreating it and got it approved but then it was deleted again because it wasn’t approved the first time or something like that. This coach is now a candidate for a bigger job and I would like to recreate and have it approved without it being deleted. Can you help? Thanks!

Thank you for the feedback. I am researching in the area of deepfakes, which is a disruptive technology in the age of fake news. Pinscreen has done some notable work in this area and I believe that the company should be listed on Wikipedia. Hello Sulfurboy: thanks for your comment on Draft:Review 31; I really appreciate your contributions as a master editor. (I used to edit quite a lot anonymously just from my IP address but creating articles has been a learning process for me: it's a level of rigour I really appreciate.) I have been reading up on WP:BOMBARD and, though I am a COI contributor, I have created the article in good faith: I believe we meet the notability threshold in the same way as publications such as 3:AM Magazine with whom we have long-standing associations. I believe the references I have made support the claims in question: I added them as a good faith effort to cite independent sources (the original version consisted almost entirely of citations from our own website) and I am not trying to deceive anyone with the volume or content of the citations. I'm new to creating and I'm really happy to do anything that needs to be done to improve the article in the eyes of senior editors and administrators. For example, references 10-48 are all from our own website - I put them in there purely for verification purposes - but if they are doing more harm than good I am happy to delete them. I note that some literary magazine articles achieve notability but with a much smaller number of citations ( Structo, for example, which only has three). I am therefore happy to reduce the number if you feel a smaller number of citations would increase our chances of being accepted. (For example, I feel the Irish Times link is a good example that demonstrates our achievement: I understand the virtues of relying on fewer but better sources.)
I've found the editorial process really interesting and I'd like to create more articles in future: there are many well-regarded British authors, often award-nominated and published on acclaimed small presses, who don't have Wikipedia entries. In this way, I'd love to carry on talking and use the drafting process as a learning opportunity while at the same time increasing the article's chances for approval. Hello Sulfurboy,
This is the page in question: /info/en/?search=Draft:Martin_Newman
I do work for Martin Newman, yes, but I have been furloughed. I'm occasionally helping them content-wise on a voluntary basis. I believe his page is rather informational and neutral, thus I'd like to understand why it is deemed promotional (apart from the fact I used to work for him).
I'm very new to Wikipedia. Is there a way I could improve my article so that it meets Wikipedia's standards?
Thank you very much for your help and insight!

Hey Sulfurboy,
Thank you for reviewing my draft on Lawrence and Mayo( /info/en/?search=Draft:Lawrence_and_Mayo)and suggesting the additions required in citations. This is my first engagement as a contributor to the Wikipedia community. I had used the references from coverage in independent dailies. Is the coverage in popular news considered as a source for notability? Also, could you please suggest me some other sources that I may look for and how many minimum references are required for the article to qualify?
Thank you for your help!

This is my first time ever writing a Wikipedia article. Everything listed in this article I cited on this non-profit organization are from independent and reputable sources. Where do I go next and what are some suggestions on what I can do to bring it up to standard? I think it's a worthy cause which is worthy of international attention. It's a service for those with disabilities in areas of America where they have nothing else. Would you care to elaborate more on why it reads like an advertisement than an encyclopedia article? — Preceding unsigned comment added by ABrandNewDisease ( talk • contribs) 06:12, 2 May 2020 (UTC)
You're being very rude right now, sir. I don't appreciate you I left you a message asking you a simple question. Thank you for your comments on my draft article on Camp Kaiora. I must have been unclear in some way, for you to question the notability of the subject. I can understand why Wikipedia cannot fill the cloud with articles that no one will ever read, but this is not the case here.
The book by Bond et al. (ref. 1), although it was written many years after the closure of the camp, nevertheless devotes a paragraph to the camp, and points out that it was one of the first camps to involve progressive education, and one of the first to admit both girls and boys. I did not directly quote the relevant paragraph from the book because the authors had misspelled the name of the camp, as Kaoria (I was planning to include a redirect when the article was accepted) but clearly they thought that it was an important institution.
Camp Kaiora is mentioned in several issues of the annual booklet by Porter Sargent on summer camps, which was published in the 1920s and 1930s as a help for parents choosing a camp.
The camp features in the description of an incident involving the daughter of the author John Cheever (ref. 5).
I found more than one article from a local newspaper mentioning children planning to attend the camp (ref 6).
The camp ran for many years so it is likely that well over 1000 children attended over the years, and some of these may wonder, in their retirement, what became of Miss Sheridan’s Camp Kaiora, and would be pleased to find a brief discussion in Wikipedia. This subject is certainly notable.
The article is surely suitable for inclusion in category:defunct summer camps.

Thank you so much for helping me out with this. I appreciate it.
I replied to the first editor who flagged a suspected conflict of interest. I have no connection to Delta Police Board or Delta Police. I am a returning to the workforce (full-time Mum) and am studying PR/Communications with UVic. I live in North Delta and I wanted to gain an insiders understanding of Wikipedia as it is so important to our media-life.
I have checked details with DPD and I now understand that wasn't correct. I apologize.
Please can I check a couple of things with you.
I want to make the page more interesting with history that I can only get through speaking with either the Delta Police Public Affairs or accessing the archives held in the Ladner Community Office which is currently closed due to Covid19. Many of our elder community members have served on the Board over the last few decades and I was hoping to update the entry as I interviewed them/found out more from the archives. Is there a way to meet Wiki's standards and access the information that the Department has?
Again, I am really sorry I messed up. Thank you for your patience. I love Wiki and I'm super impressed by the standards that are so closely followed. That's important to know as a (wannabe) PR/Communication professional.

Hi Sulfurboy,
I am reaching out to you regarding my Draft:Kobo360 submission which you declined on 21 April. You mentioned it was because the nature of my edits gave the impression that I have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting the company. I can confirm that this is untrue. I'm Nigerian and have a keen interest in the Nigerian tech space on the continent and want to ensure that some of my favourite African companies and personalities who are doing exceptional things are well represented on this platform. I was recently furloughed because of the current coronavirus situation and therefore decided to use my free time to write articles on this platform. Hi User:Sulfurboy. Thanks for your comments on Draft:Hyperreal.org. I don't believe that there's much else I can do to the article, given that as an early website in that mid-90s era, it's quite difficult to source references readily. That said, given that the site is hugely referenced across Wikipedia articles on music/artists, it seems odd not to have an entry for it in its own right, and its notability in the early days of the web developing. As such, if you wish to delete then please go ahead. Seems a shame, however. It doesn't seem any less notable/sourced than one of your articles ( Leigh Gerdine, for example. Hello! You recently reviewed and declined the article I am writing on the Center for the Study of Law and Religion. The stated reasons were that some minor changes needed to be made with the references, and that it read more like a directory than a formal article. I have amended the references as recommended, but I am unsure of how to proceed with regards to your second point. I have read several of Wikipedia's reference articles on writing style and tone and I feel as though my article matches those guidelines. Could you please elaborate on your comment or point to specific examples in my article that need to be changed?
Thank you in advance and thank you for taking the time to review my article! — Preceding unsigned comment added by TaraF99 ( talk • contribs) 17:03, 5 May 2020 (UTC)

Hi Sulfurboy. I saw your comment that candidates for office aren't typically notable. I don't think that applies to Attisano – he is generally notable in western Pennsylvania for his work in veteran's affairs and in the law. Furthermore, the election for PA House District 30 was described by an independent outlet as "Allegheny County's most competitive state house seat." Attisano and this race have received serious, non-trivial attention from a range of media outlets. Information about Attisano's upbringing has been featured by independent outlets covering legal issues and veteran's affairs. This coverage is all sourced in the article.
Also, similar candidates have received their own page. In Attisano's region, Pennsylvania congressional candidate Conor Lamb had a page shortly after announcing his run in 2017/2018. That race, like this one, attracted specific media attention and warranted further coverage of the people running. Lamb's experience in the military and federal prosecutor is similar to Attisano's experience in the Navy, an assistant district attorney & veteran leader.
Resubmitting for reconsideration: /info/en/?search=Draft:Marco_Attisano

Thanks!

I am reaching out to you regarding my Draft:Kobo360 submission which you declined on 21 April. You mentioned it was because the nature of my edits gave the impression that I have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting the company. I can confirm that this is untrue. Hello, friend! Iʻm aware of the reasoning for the decline of my article and Iʻve made the necessary adjustments to ensure that it fairs better next time I submit it. Although Iʻd like to ask, how would I go about resubmitting it?
Please do get back to me as soon as possible! Sincerely, Henry — Preceding unsigned comment added by MakaioKalākaua ( talk • contribs) 05:01, 5 May 2020 (UTC)

I'm considerably behind, and am mainly involved at the moment in writing a workshop proposed decision for the medicine arb com case, so I very much appreciate the help you are giving me in answering questions at my talk page/ And I am of course not exactly working efficiently at the moment--it seems much more satisfying to deal with pur eroutine than on anything that takes the effort of thinking. .
Hi, thanks for your help, could you indicate where in the article Chachaco ( /info/en/?search=Draft:Cachaco ) you think the referencing should be improved?
Thank you again. — Preceding unsigned comment added by BGT1538 ( talk • contribs) 20:40, 5 May 2020 (UTC)

Thanks for providing feedback!
