Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, there is a

Hello Randor1980, and welcome to wikipedia.
I see you have recently reverted one of my edits at
Typhoon Talas (2011) even though i mentioned i will present a reference to the work soon.
You have removed the line:
On September 1, Talas developed a large annulus of nearly 110 nautical miles (200 km; 130 mi) in diameter with multiple weak circulations cyclonically rotating around a centroid within the center. Fragmented deep convective banding broadly wrapped the low-level circulation center with an upper-level cyclone over the center and
anticyclonic flow around the periphery of the storm.
Can you give me a valid reason for the action. I have put back the line and with a reference i promise. Could you consider explaining me why the line was removed? -- Anirudh Emani ( talk) 15:48, 1 September 2011 (UTC)

Concerning which national variety of English to use (e.g. United States English, British English, Australian English, etc) Wikipedia's manual of style indicates that we should use a particular variety in some situations (for example, in an article such as Abraham Lincoln, it makes sense to use US English, and in Winston Churchill British English), but otherwise no particular style is to be preferred. In general if a particular article has been established with a particular style of English then that style should not be replaced by another unless there is a specific reason to do so. I mention this because I have noticed a couple of recent edits where you have changed British English to US English, including one case where the text was specifically referring to the United Kingdom, so that the use of US English was certainly inappropriate. The stuff you wrote above is good, but why did you use the exact sentences of BBC in regard to arrests in Japan on 15 June 2012 (here). Then, as you stated above, copying and pasting from a copyright source is plagiarism. Egeymi ( talk) 13:26, 15 June 2012 (UTC)

I quote: "Good red links help Wikipedia—they encourage new contributors in useful directions, and remind us that Wikipedia is far from finished." Red links are not OK if it is unlikely to ever turn blue, but that is not the case here. An alleged commander of an armed wing of the Kurdistan Workers Party is most likely a notable person. In addition, please don't make such edits without explaining why you do it: you've been asked many times before on this talk page to use edit summaries. Thank you. Hi Randor, The location map in the 2013 Thane building collapse article looks great!
I'm just wondering, because I don't know: I looked up the Laxmi Compound on google maps which has the coordinates as 19.203974,73.009284, which are slightly different for the location on the map in the article. Do you know which one is right?-- CaroleHenson ( talk) 14:19, 6 April 2013 (UTC)
