yes my friendly steve, i am not the one who is confused here , you are. they are from aegean macedonia, thats a part of macedonia wich only now belongs to greece. did you know that Aegean macedonia became a Greek part after 1913?? did you know that before 1913 the aegean part of macedonia was 80% inhabitated with macedonians rather than greeks and after the annexation they were either forced to claim theirselves greek, or forced to leave the country? many of those refugees fled to australia, thats probably the reason why stan lazaridis's family came to australia. did you know that after the 1913 annexation of macedonia to greece, that all macedonian cities, villages and peoples surnames were forbidden, and had to be changed into greek names?? did you know that? of course you didnt, so please learn before you talk. his ancestors were forced to change their backname by the greeks, not just his family but all macedonian families in ?Aegean Macedonia. and some for example the family of stan lazaridis have kept their new name. However there is still a large macedonian minority in northern Greece(agean macedonia) and oh yeah,if he is greek, why would he play for a ethnic macedonian football team? -- Makedonia 09:36, 28 May 2006 (UTC)
as i said before, its a greek name yes, greek macedonia now belongs to greece, it was annexed in 1913, as i said, all the macedonians there were forced to change their last names into greek sounding names, Lazar became: Lazaridis. if you dont know any of this history, why are you trying to look like you know, just leave it. he is macedonian, but he just kept his greek version of his name. -- Makedonia 10:58, 29 May 2006 (UTC)
thats a smart thing, and yes i realise, but what should i do? to let some people spread wrong information? no, i will edit articles with truth, no lies, nor propaganda. thank you, greetings mate -- Makedonia 12:54, 29 May 2006 (UTC)

yeah of course you have sources, but of course those are "Greek" sources or others who dont know the situation of macedonia and greece, just like you, so its normal they will say he is greek, you have to understand that in greece there was and still is a large macedonian community, the greek government is denying that and calls them simply Greeks. -- Makedonia 16:34, 30 May 2006 (UTC)
Last month Greece played a friendly football match against Australia [2]. Stan Lazaridis was cheered by Australian Greeks as a fellow Australian Greek and the Greek team, namely Georgios Seitaridis, treated him as such. One must presume that since user Makedonia identifies with Lazaridis, he must be Greek himself.
Also, see article [3]: Greek interest on omogeneia football player Stan Lazaridis. 05 Jun 2006 09:47:00 Greek-Australian, 33 year-old football player, Stan Lazaridis revealed that Greece and Cyprus football teams have made interesting proposals with that of Greece being most attractive. However, he did not rule out the possibility of playing in an Australian team since he has proposals from three teams, Newcastle, whose coach is Greek Nikos Theodorakopoulos, Perth and Adelaide. At the moment he said “ the focus of my interest is Australian National team and my participation in the World Cup Finals. Politis (T)
I have noticed that you have changed the redirect for " Bosnia." It used to redirect to " Bosnia and Herzegovina," now it redirects to " Bosnia (region)". Honestly I do not think that it makes more sense, since most (almost all) of the people that type in Bosnia want to get to the article " Bosnia and Herzegovina." Due to the fact that Wikipedia's based on agreements, I think that there should be a vote for this issue.

sounds like a good idea, perhaps it would work as a separate map since date of the first store is still interesting. though I cant find a list of how many stores are in each country. do you know where this information is? -- Astrokey 44 06:52, 6 July 2006 (UTC)
Hi Steven X, thanks for commenting on the issue. There have been ongoing reverts with this issue. In the article you provided me it says:
...When the Nazis came to power in 1933 the black-red-gold flag was entirely removed and replaced with the black-white-red, though they would eventually, on September 15, 1935, replace virtually all German governmental flags with designs based on the swastika flag that had been their party flag.
So then the Weimar and the Swastika flags are both legit at the time. However, according to the article at German Wikipedia, it says that the Weimar Republic flag was used for trade and international purposes ("National- und Handelsflagge"), while the Swastika flag was only used domestically ("Zivilflagge"). Therefore I assume it was the Weimar Republic flag that was used. I hope that cleared things up. P e rfectStorm (Hello! Hallo! Bonjour! Holla!) 11:58, 17 July 2006 (UTC)
I have gone to the German Wikipedia and posted the question on the talk page regarding the matter just be sure. Ironically, as I was skimming I noticed that the FIFA World Cup article has the Weimar Republic flag in it, but the FIFA World Cup in 1934 has the Third Reich flag. If you want to check it out, I posted it here, though I'm not sure if that's any help to you. Your recent contribution(s) to the Wikipedia article Robert Irwin are very much appreciated. However, you did not provide references or sources for your information. Keeping Wikipedia accurate and verifiable is very important, and as you might be aware there is currently a drive to improve the quality of Wikipedia by encouraging editors to cite the sources they used when adding content. If sources are left unreferenced, it may count as original research, which is not allowed.
