Thanks for uploading Image:Benedict T Viviano OP.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

I am finding it difficult to figure out exactly what I should do in regard to this photo. It is taken from the University of Fribourg website. Admittedly, I did not seek out copyright information but posted in the good-faith belief that using Viviano's image here would not be objected to, but also I posted partly to see what would happen and then see how I could effect making its presence "legal." Of course I'm quite willing to take it down if I can't satisfy wikipedia rules, but i'm really confused as to how to even attempt to establish this photo's "legality." can you direct me to a page that explains this more clearly?
Thanks in advance. srd515 01:31, 25 May 2007 (UTC)
Yes that all makes sense. I think the thing to do at this point is pull the image off and try and establish whether I can get license to use it. Thanks. srd515 02:21, 25 May 2007 (UTC)
I just noticed that you put a note on my talk page in mid-December. I am no longer actively contributing to Wikipedia. If you pull off the reference tag, I will not complain. But that is not a prediction about what others might do. theloavesandthevicious ( talk) 22:51, 29 December 2008 (UTC)
