Hi Spacecasetheman, thanks for trying to improve today's featured article, Appaloosa, but we have a convention on naming countries and it is to use the article name. In the case of the USA, the article is titled United States. Although that is not unique among all languages (Estados Unidos Mexicanos, for example), it does not require disambiguation on the English Wikipedia. If you're interested in country names, there's a good list of the names we use at Wikipedia:Category names #How to name the country.
We also prefer to avoid constructions like "types/shapes" as it's not considered good prose. You might make an argument for "types and shapes", but I think that "wide range of body shapes" is probably already covered by "wide range of body types", wouldn't you agree? -- RexxS ( talk) 21:47, 5 October 2012 (UTC)
Hi Spacecasetheman. Once upon a time, I saw a movie where the central character walks into a room, sees a person just like himself, and asks, "is this where they make you real?"
The other person - the mirror image - looks round, smiles sadly, and says, from experience, "no, this is where they make you read."
The guy is seeking truth, pretty much. I can't remember if his quest is successful or not.
In your quest for truth (and power) on Wikipedia, it will help you greatly if you start by reading Wikipedia:Guidance for younger editors. Feel free to ask for more help when it doesn't meet the requirements as to explaining what you need to do! -- Demiurge1000 ( talk) 23:12, 5 October 2012 (UTC)
Hey young one, you can go to Worm's adoption HQ and read the lessons, as long as you understand them, the tests are not important.-- RexRowan Talk 12:55, 8 October 2012 (UTC)
Hi Spacecasetheman. If Worm That Turned isn't able to adopt you at present (I know he has something of an adoption backlog, since he's easily the most sought-after mentor on Wikipedia!), I would be happy to take you on in his stead. Let me know on my talkpage if you're interested. Yunshui 雲 水 12:30, 12 October 2012 (UTC)
Hi Spacecasetheman,
By reading your Userpage I was able to conclude that you hava an interest in math and science. So do I! I just wanted to let you know that if you have any questions (relating to the fields of math or science), you are more than welcome to ask.
