Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. -- SineBot ( talk) 21:45, 21 February 2011 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, you are reminded not to attack other editors, as you did on User talk:Sikh-history. Please comment on the contributions and not the contributors. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. You are welcome to rephrase your comment as a civil criticism of the article. Also, I need to point out that any editor is permitted to edit any article of their choosing; they are not required to be a member of the Labana tribe to edit that article, for example. Thank you. -- Diannaa ( Talk) 00:50, 22 February 2011 (UTC)
Hi, and thank you for
your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you recently tried to give
Lubanki a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "
cut and paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the
page history, which is needed for attribution and various other purposes. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page. This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Cut and paste move repair holding pen. Thank you. — C.Fred ( talk) 05:20, 2 March 2011 (UTC)
Thanks for the guidance and starting the talk page. But I'm curious why does the talk page says WikiProject India? Labanas and Labanki pages are related to Labana tribe of Punjab, a region in South Asia. This is different from topics like Brahmim, which are truly Indian and not just Punjabi.
Hi, I'm sorry but I have just reverted some recent edits you made to Amrita_Singh. The reason for doing this was that although you cited a source for the info (good!) it was a biography at IMDb. This website has a peculiar relationship with regard to Wikipedia's definition of reliable sources but I'd doubt very much that using it as a source for biographical material is acceptable. The biography in question was actually submitted to IMDb by someone using a Hotmail address, and thus is almost certainly unreliable. Sorry about this, and I do encourage you to keep on trying to improve articles here. Thanks. - Sitush ( talk) 02:56, 27 March 2011 (UTC)
A tag has been placed on File:Amrit Singh.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}}
to the top of
the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on
the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.

Thank you for uploading File:Amrit Singh in 2007.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright and licensing status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. ww2censor ( talk) 03:07, 27 March 2011 (UTC)

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to upload media files lacking copyright information, as you did at File:Amrit Singh in 2007.jpg, you may be blocked from editing. If you are unsure of the correct copyright template, please refer to the list of image copyright tags or ask at the copyright question page. Eeekster ( talk) 03:35, 27 March 2011 (UTC)
