Hello. You recently created the article Depavali, which reads in its entirety "#REDIRECT [[Depavali]]". (You'd be surprised how often this happens!) I'd like to thank you Siva1979 for either supporting, opposing, commenting, nominating, reading, editing, promoting and/or anything else that you may have done for my successful request for adminship (I've broken the one thousand sysop barrier!); I'm thanking you for getting involved, and for this I am very grateful. I hope to be able to serve Wikipedia more effectively with my new tools and that we can continue to build our free encyclopedia, for knowledge is power, but only wisdom is liberty. Hello, thanks for the advise regarding sources for the imges I recently uploaded. Yet, I do wonder how virtually all pictures linked on this far more frequented page managed to stay below the radar in respect of their sources. Is there any specific reason or distinction? Regards - Cyrus XIII 22:47, 19 September 2006 (UTC)
In response to your most recent message regarding the source of the image:
How specifically detailed does the source reference have to be? The image itself clearly says © Disney, and the description says it's from a deck of (Disney) young reader cards. What would be an example of additional information necessary to establish the source? In this case, are we trying to establish where the original card came from, or who drew the pot leaves on it? Also, I'm sure this isn't in dispute, but United States copyright law specifically says that a parody derivative of a copyrighted work is fair use on its face. Hello! I hope you are feeling fine. I have got a question to ask. For this image, is it still appropriate to add the tag {{nsd}}? Is my recent edit correct? However, now I feel that the problem has been solved. Secondly, is it correct to tag this image with {{nsd}} as well? The source of this image is not found as well. If I am correct, a URL is needed here. Your help in this would be deeply appreciated. Moreover, please view and comment on the recent comments on my talk page regarding this matter. Hi there Siva, nice to see you again. Recently the image's source has been adapted by Mets501. It looks to me that the copyright status is fully and correctly stated. There would seem to not be a problem any more. Bobo . 02:55, 20 September 2006 (UTC)

The questions you are asking are open to various interpretations. Technically, you are OK to put NSD tags on both images as they do not specify the source in the Summary (I modified the Pooh image and added a source). However, the source can be figured out from the image itself. The Pooh card has copyright Disney on it and the record has Polydor on it. A URL is not what is important as many images are not taken from a web page of the copyright holder. Many album cover images are taken from Amazon.com, but Amazon is not the source. The record company or artist is most likely the source (i.e. copyright holder).
As far as the Pooh card, is it a legal example of parody? Maybe. But I think a recognized example of parody would be a better fit. A screenshot from one of the Scary Movie series showing a parody of a contemporary film might be a better choice then this scribbled on Pooh card. -Regards Nv8200p talk 15:15, 20 September 2006 (UTC)

Hi,
I noticed that you have done a lot of work on articles pertaining to xxxx-xx in English football - great work! I am currently looking through and doing my best to shift some of the backlog of articles needing context and saw that you have tagged each of these articles with the "context" tag. I would suggest that this tag is not appropriate for these articles as any newcomer to the article can easily ascertain that the article is about a Football season in England from the dates mentioned from the opening paragraph: The 1896-97 season was the 26th season of competitive football in England.
If you have no objections I will remove this tag from these pages.
