Your recent edits appear primarily to be introducing Template:citation needed to inappropriate sections of articles. Please stop, as that is neither productive or helpful. If you have a concern about material in the lede or that isn't already cited in an article, bring it up on the talk page. Ogress 23:20, 5 September 2015 (UTC)
Hi,
I appreciate your efforts to communicate with me in regards to my edits on citation needed.
I think 'citation needed' is helpful and productive- it helps Wikipedia article to become more like a scholarly article. If you think this is not being helpful in regards to educating people with more varifiable knowledge please be a bit more specific in your comments. Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Shoshanko ( talk • contribs) 00:02, 6 September 2015 (UTC)
As far as I'm concerned that his both parents are Bengali ethnic people which makes Salman Khan bengali too. Since I don't have the citation ready I left the door open for someone else to cite his source.
Talking about citation - the source you provided doesn't not specify his parents ethnicity. I think using your this source is misleading!
Regarding these edits, that you made to the article about Salman Khan: It is better to have a reliable source for the fact that his father is Bengali and his mother is Indian than to claim that Salman Khan himself is Bengali and have a citation needed template. -- Dodi 8238 ( talk) 09:40, 12 September 2015 (UTC)
There is no controversy. Salman Khan is a Bangeladeshi-American. He is also a muslim. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.195.176.248 ( talk) 22:38, 13 September 2015 (UTC)
I do agree that before we write about someone's faith we need to make sure we have formidable resources to back our claim. Faith can be a very sensitive issue to a living person & we need to take greatest care before we even think about claiming he is a Hindu, Christian, Muslim, Bahai or anything. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Shoshanko ( talk • contribs) 22:51, 14 September 2015 (UTC)
