Hi Sesamo12! Thanks for contributing to Wikipedia. |
This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Conflict of interest/Noticeboard regarding a possible conflict of interest incident in which you may be involved. Thank you. The relevant thread is Wikipedia:Conflict of interest/Noticeboard#Andrea Mura -- Lemongirl942 ( talk) 17:28, 23 May 2016 (UTC)
I think you need to read the guidance much more carefully at WP:SELFCITE and WP:CITESPAM. These multiple additions are starting to look like an SEO exercise. For example, this edit was really pushing it—stating the obvious, and something that isn't simply an academic distinction, its a standard distinction. Once, in the Bibliography which is solely for the books cited in the references, and once as "Further Reading". I have removed the former. Note also that if linking a book title, link to it on Google books, do not link to the publisher's blurb page (a commercial link). Also the IP 86.142.82.69 has been doing the same thing. If this might apply to you, please ensure that you edit logged in to this account. Otherwise, it can be seen as an attempt to evade scrutiny. It would be a big help if you would engage with the editors at the Conflict of Interest Noticeboard and get these issues clarified. The link is Wikipedia:Conflict of interest/Noticeboard. Until you have done so, I strongly suggest you stop making any further edits. Best wishes, Voceditenore ( talk) 18:45, 23 May 2016 (UTC)
