May I point you towards Template:Post-nominals/GBR ( UK specific here): this is a template to be used in the opening sentence or infobox in an article. How it is used is explained on the template page. I have cleaned up A. C. de la Mare to show how this template is used, how honours should be worded, post nominals shown, etc. Basically, all initialisms should be capitalised (ie FBA no fba) and not made smaller in the main text.
