Hello! Thank you for your warm welcome. And yes, I do plan to stay. I want to contribute as much as I can to the documentation and preservation of my heritage language. Rvat2003 ( talk) 11:37, 17 October 2021 (UTC)
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Võro language, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Finnic. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Hi Rvat2003! Just to let you know, I have preliminary changed all instances of "Akeanon" as an English designation back to "Aklanon". The text has to align with the article title, and for a change from Aklanon to Akeanon you will need to get community consensus. I have contested the move because I don't see that Akeanon has signficantly has taken over Aklanon in English language texts (both scholarly and non-scholarly sources).
Akeanon undoubtedly has loong been the preferred spelling when writing the language natively, but this is about the WP:COMMONNAME in sources written in English. I have checked if for example Philippine news media sites consistently have switched from "Aklanon" to "Akeanon", and also Google Scholar, but I can't see that "Akeanon" outweighs "Aklanon". Even some authors from UP continue to use "Aklanon", so I don't see much potential for a move based on WP:COMMONNAME at this time. But of course feel free to initiate a move discussion per WP:RM#CM, I can help you with the technicalities even when I don't agree with the proposal. Just keep in mind that the onus to prove the shift in usage lies with the requester, so you should ideally collect some quantitative evidence for a significant shift in usage. (Btw, Youtube channels like "Ilovelanguages" don't count much in WP, especially that channel that has a history of poor content and even once (probably unknowingly) promoting a hoax.)
