Hi RossAPerry! Thanks for contributing to Wikipedia. We hope to see you there!

Because you are writing about your father you should state on your user page that you have a conflict of interest because you have a relationship with the person who is the subject of the article. This does not preclude your editing. However, whatever you add should be based on published sources, not what you know. Copyright of photos of a person are property of the photographer, not the subject of the photograph. David notMD ( talk) 16:25, 31 January 2019 (UTC)
Hello, RossAPerry. We
welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things
you have written about in the page
Charles Perry (basketball), you may have a
conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the
conflict of interest guideline and
FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).
Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Kind regards, TruthToBeSpoken (talk) 16:28, 31 January 2019 (UTC)
However you're more than welcome to add an image of your father to the infobox on the page. You can do this here: Wikipedia:File_Upload_Wizard and then add the photo to the infobox. If you need help doing this let me know, I'd be happy to help. Kind regards, TruthToBeSpoken (talk) 16:31, 31 January 2019 (UTC)
