Hi, thanks for contributing to Wikipedia. You are adding a lot of people to years, births and deaths; however, they are not particularly notable. Because these pages often become unwieldy and lengthy with the births and deaths of every American Idol contestant, every minor athlete, and every second-rate politican or actor, it is generally considered that only people who achieved particularly outstanding notoriety in their fields/country are added. Could you please refrain from adding every person who only has semi-notoriety, or else the article will be too long and cumbersome? Thank you, and thanks for editing. -- DavidShankBone 03:07, 26 January 2007 (UTC)
He seems a worthy subject for an article, but if you would like the article to remain you must write more fully and in the WP style, which includes:
and, most important, giving more 3rd party sources. A website at a university etc. can be one, but it cannot be the only one. Book reviews are fine, or a newspaper stories. Print or web is OK, but not from a list or a blog. These is, very unfortunately, some prejudice against people from the academic world.
I apologize for not having the time to help more personally. -- DGG 00:56, 1 March 2007 (UTC)
I notice you have been making numerous biography stubs. This is a meritorious and highly worthwhile activity, but sometimes it is not easy to understand from such a stub that the person is notable. There are a number of editors engaged in the essential activity of deleting newly created articles about truly unnotable people, of which there are several hundred each day. To keep your articles from being deleted by mistake, follow the general suggestions above. DGG 01:09, 1 March 2007 (UTC)
Thanks for uploading Image:Julia France.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. BetacommandBot 04:27, 7 November 2007 (UTC)
Howdy, I noticed your recent additions to this article, and was curious if you'd be able to add citations for the material. Cheers! Murderbike ( talk) 07:47, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
All the information I've added has come from the Stauss book cited in the References section. I'm not sure how to indicate that from each paragraph without cluttering the text with numerous footnote references to the same source. Ronald W Wise ( talk) 03:40, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
A
proposed deletion template has been added to the article
Abejar, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's
criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "
What Wikipedia is not" and
Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{
dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on
its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the
proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the
speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to
Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if
consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{
db-author}}
to the top of
Abejar.

I'm not sure why you've reverted Nishkid64 ( talk · contribs)'s entirely valid contributions as "subtle vandalism". – Juliancolton | Talk 19:17, 11 September 2009 (UTC)
My apologies: I assumed "Head and shoulders" was a poorly formatted reference to the dandruff shampoo! Now I'm subtly amused at my misunderstanding, but sincerely apologetic, and appreciative of the information/link regarding the new ALT requirement. An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is R. Garcia y Robertson. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and " What Wikipedia is not").
Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/R. Garcia y Robertson. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).
You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.
Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. -- Erwin85Bot ( talk) 01:08, 22 April 2010 (UTC)
