"Vandalism"

Hi RoBri,

thank you very much for the report at WP:AIV.

I'm concerned about the liberal usage of the word "vandalism" to describe the behavior of a disagreeing user. Vandalism is intentional, malicious disruption. Even if someone's reverts are disruptive and/or edit warring, the term "vandalism" is unlikely to be appropriate. The disagreeing user tries to improve the encyclopedia too, and personal attacks make it hard to find a consensus.

Regarding the "global ban", that does not seem to be a productive idea; neither Stewards nor the larger community at Meta are likely to intervene in content disputes.

I will remove the report for now; see Wikipedia:Dispute resolution for advice and create a report at the edit warring noticeboard if really necessary. As it requires multiple people to edit war, please consider discussing instead of reverting again. The essay WP:DISCFAIL might be useful.

Best regards,
~ ToBeFree ( talk) 18:14, 4 November 2020 (UTC)

RoBri, this type of edit warring is not "vandalism". Please don't describe it as such. ~ ToBeFree ( talk) 21:50, 6 March 2021 (UTC)

Mich bewegen manche Themen einfach emotional. Einen guten Abend dir! :) — Koelnfan ( talk) 19:19, 25 April 2022 (UTC)
