Hello, and thank you for
your contributions to Wikipedia. I've noticed that you have been adding your
signature to some of your edits to
articles, such as the edit you made to
University of Karachi. This is a
common mistake to make and has probably already been corrected. There is no need to sign your edits to article content, as the article's
edit history serves the function of attributing contributions, so you only need to use your signature to make discussions more readable, such as on article
talk pages or project pages such as the
Village Pump. If you would like further information about distinguishing types of pages, please see
What is an article?. Again, thank you for contributing, and enjoy your Wikipedia experience! Thank you.

Please do not add inappropriate
external links to Wikipedia.
Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See
the external links guideline and
spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the
nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you.

Welcome and thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test on the page
Lady Gaga worked, and it has been
reverted or removed. However, if you would like to experiment further, please use the
sandbox instead. Please take a look at the
welcome page to learn more about contributing to
this encyclopedia. Thank you.

This editor has been off-line since Sep. '11. I was looking at one of the editor's 30+- edits 8-9/11 and checking on, frankly, its peremptory removal from an article I follow. It did in fact seem a nonsense edit, virtually or actually. Then I looked at a second edit, which also made no sense to me. Both edits cited The News Tribe in the text and thenewstribe.com (seemingly inactive site) in the footnote. While not "proven vandalism" -- English language difficulty could be part of it; though commercial promotion also seems likely from my small sampling -- I wasn't surprised to see the above notes to the same effect on this talk page. Without doing a thorough review of the editor's edits, I would encourage any interested editor to check on edits to see if they are also sub-par or worse, particularly of course if there is revived activity.
