Thanks for the feedback, Quiddity. I think I thought it was a good idea at the time. Now, it looks rather silly.
Welcome to Wikipedia! I agree with you that many BA students could use a little career inspiration. I'm just concerned that a massive list of every notable person who ever received a BA would not be an encyclopedic article. Such a list would also bring up a variety of questions regarding who is included; for example, do we include people who later received advanced degrees, what do we do about people who received honorary BA degrees, and why not have massive lists of grads with a BSc, BFA, associate degrees, etc.? At best, you may be creating a lot of work for yourself. At worst, the article may end up on Articles for Deletion. - Mabeenot ( talk) 23:38, 23 August 2011 (UTC)
The article Notable Bachelor of Arts graduates has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your
edit summary or on
the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the
proposed deletion process, but other
deletion processes exist. In particular, the
speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and
articles for deletion allows discussion to reach
consensus for deletion.
