Hey. Haven't talked to you in a while. I should be a contactor on this report since I'm a abuse report member. Is that ok?-- Damirgraffiti ☺Say Yo to Me!☺ 20:33, 19 June 2011 (UTC)
SuggestBot predicts that you will enjoy editing some of these articles. Have fun!
SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. We appreciate that you have signed up to receive suggestions regularly, your contributions make Wikipedia better — thanks for helping!

This edit hereby confirms that I duly request an ACC account. Thanks - Rich(MTCD) T| C| E-Mail 11:43, 24 June 2011 (UTC)
Methecooldude thank you for applying to access the account creation tool. I have approved your request so welcome to the team. You may now access the tool here. Before you do so, please read the tool's guide thoroughly to familiarize yourself with the process.
You may also want to join #wikipedia-en-accounts on IRC where a bot informs us when new account requests come in and to get any advice on requests as well as the mailing list. Please note that we have implemented a policy of zero tolerance on mishandled requests, and that failure to assess correctly will result in suspension. I would like to emphasize that it is not a race to complete a request, and each one should be handled diligently and thoroughly.
Please keep in mind that the ACC tool is a powerful program, and misuse will result in your access being suspended by a tool administrator. Don't hesitate to get in touch with me if you have any questions. Thank you for participating in the account creation process. Again welcome!
P.S. disregard last email :P

I observed you made an RfA. I also observed you haven't done too much article related stuff, which may be a barrier to your success. In any case, good luck. -- The Σ talk contribs 21:40, 1 July 2011 (UTC)
Rich, thanks for all the work you do on Wikipedia; your efforts are hugely appreciated. I would encourage you to ignore the suggestions here and at the RFA to do X and Y in order to put together a better RfA application in the future. Instead, I would encourage you to do whatever you find interesting and compelling. There are many different things that need to be done around here, and different people like doing different things, so I don't think there is any need for you to feel pressured to do things you don't want to do. It might be fun to try content work or AfDs or whatever, but do it because you want to, not because someone told you you need to do it to pass RfA. One huge roadblock for your RfA was that your edit count is really low; once you have 2/3x (maybe more?) as many edits, if you then find that the lack of block/delete/protect buttons are really getting in the way of what you want to be helping with, then file another RfA; otherwise don't bother. While the sentiment that significant content work is required to become an admin is still alive and well, I think it may be fading. I have one request, though, as you do your great anti-vandal work. When you revert a good faith edit that is not vandalism—not a "test" as you charitably call it—like this one please provide a meaningful edit summary and avoid putting insulting messages on the user's talk page (see wp:NOTVAND if you haven't). This editor was here to help, and got mistreated by you and another established editor, and then left. ErikHaugen ( talk | contribs) 00:30, 2 July 2011 (UTC)
