WOW! That's awesome, thank you SO much for fixing that, Riana. I really appreciate it! Cheers mate, Sarah 12:34, 9 April 2007 (UTC) Hi Riana, I have a general question about the copyright situation. My archival shots of the Papin sisters were speedily deleted because they weren't mine, and that's ok. I have no complaints. However, I can't help wondering what the system is when I look at some of the shots that accompany various articles. If you look at the articles for Cate Blanchett, Rose Byrne, Jennifer Jason leigh and Amy Acker, you will see plenty of shots that have come from films and are obviously the property of the companies that made the films. Obviously the people who wrote these articles don't have copyright on the shots, so what is the situation? Should these shots be deleted? Sardaka 12:44, 9 April 2007 (UTC)

Many users get there main account blocked for that. A funny user though. The Sockpuppet tag was removed though. Sorry. Take care. King Lopez Contribs 07:13, 16 April 2007 (UTC)
Me again on fair use. If I understand you (and the links you provided), if I want to use an image under fair use, I have to name the holder of copyright, then nominate fair use. Is that roughly right? Sardaka 09:09, 16 April 2007 (UTC)
দেরি করে ফেললাম, আলসেমি করেই, কিন্তু তবু জানাচ্ছি শুভ নববর্ষ। :) I hope the new year brings new waves of happiness in everyone's life. BTW, if you can, do check out Bangla wikipedia. We are planning a CD release, of 2000+ articles chosen from our 15,500 current entries, by the end of the year. -- Ragib 15:00, 16 April 2007 (UTC)
...I changed the word to one page of a celebrity-type a few weeks back...nothing rancid or vulgar, just for giggles still. That's it. Nothing else. I don't think I changed YOUR personal page. To be fair, I won't touch ANYTHING on this site again. I haven't changed IPs...I don't even know who you are...however, this computer I'm on is one readily accessable to others in the building where I am (Kokomo, IN). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.210.2.43 ( talk • contribs) Hi Riana, just to let you know, User:86.70.151.83 has been tampering with your page User talk:Riana/Archive 15. Moreschi, Nardman, and I have been reverting the vandal's edits over the past few hours. I don't know why this is occurring but I thought you should be aware of it. -- Kyok o 00:28, 17 April 2007 (UTC)
Thanks for that - as I noted when I reported him to AIV, I thought he should be blocked, but COI and the fact he was attacking me meant I couldn't really act. Thanks again, and cheers, Daniel Bryant 10:32, 17 April 2007 (UTC) (If he/she does it to you with another account, message me and I'll rap the account over the head like you did it to K.m) ![]() As mentioned in Wikiproject India newsletter of March 2007, the weekly collaboration of the Indian wikiproject has fallen from its once high feats. You know that your page is on my watchlist (and I've no doubt mine is on yours) and because I so love Wikipedia, I didn't want to see that person go away from it with a bad taste after reading warnings meant for someone else. I'm sorry if I was overstepping what I should have done. It's your talk page, after all. If you think I was being presumptuous, just tell me, and I won't do it again. -- Kyok o 19:58, 17 April 2007 (UTC) |
