Hi,
Thank you for your revert of my edit. I understand that the method in which he was saved doesn't matter, but doesn't it matter to at least give some context as to what peril he was in? I haven't played the game, so I don't know enough to make the edit myself, but I also didn't know how to put something in there that made my exact concern clear. It just seems like it needs a slight elaboration.

A tag has been placed on Category:2021 video game awards requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the category has been empty for seven days or more and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Liz Read! Hello Rhain! I'm conducting a feature for the video games newsletter similar to that of a survey. I'm going to ask users their opinions on a specific matter and highlight unique and common answers to determine consensus on a subject. Your input would be very valuable, alongside others, to help answer this question.
The question is: How do you determine what makes a video game character notable enough for their own page? Do you follow pre-existing guidelines or have your own opinions on the matter?
P anini 馃オ 10:45, 16 February 2021 (UTC)
You're the GTA person, so I figured I ask you directly. GTA3 and GTA:VC have been reverse-engineered as re3 and reVC, which has been receiving some coverage lately (notably: [1] [2] [3] [4]). Is this something to cover on the game's own articles, or rather Grand Theft Auto modding, or both? IceWelder [ 鉁] 18:09, 17 February 2021 (UTC)

Pinging you as the BAFTAS for 2020 have been announced [5] and I'm filling out the nominations now 17th British Academy Games Awards, but I notice that where some entries in the nominations have specific names (like for artistic achievement, Hades called out Jen Zee) most just call out the team. While I know that for the Game Awards 2020 that we had included the names of individuals when recognized, it seems odd when only one or two nominees in a cat have specific names called out. I'm going to fill in the rest on just the dev/pub but wanted to bring to your attention. -- Masem ( t) 14:39, 2 March 2021 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading File:Claude (Grand Theft Auto) concept art.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

I used the two sources listed on Dan Houser's page for my edits. It seems his departure is relevant if he was the one who said they'd make more if it were successful. It wouldn't necessarily impact their decision, but it seems like it should be noted because now that he's gone, he almost certainly won't be involved in that decision. If not, though, at the very least I think the tense should be changed from "does well" to "did well," since RDR 2 has been out for over two years now. It may not be Wikipedia's place to assess or assume that success, but it doesn't seem like "does well" is still the valid tense.
Either way, I'm not going to revert, since I don't want it to appear as if I'm trying to have an edit war, which is definitely not my intent. Hence, I'm sharing my thoughts here and leaving that decision up to you. You seem to know more about both the series and relevant Wikipedia policies than I do.

Hi. I was just wondering (unless you made it yourself) where you obtained the gameplay gif used for The Last of Us: Part II, as I'm considering using one for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered. Wikibenboy94: Looks good! The rationale is appropriate, and I think you've cut down the GIF nicely. Regarding the image parameters: |thumb

is only necessary for videos, as it allows you to select which time stamp appears as a thumbnail on the article before the reader plays the video; and |upright=
could be set to 1, but I tend to go for 1.2. Your edit summary in the file history doesn't matter, as this is pretty common when making new articles (
