Greetings Redpower94, I noticed that you have removed San Marino from the ESC 2012 article, however there was a consensus on the article talk page to keep San Marino as confirmed, based on several reliable sources which stated their confirmation. See talk page articles; Talk:Eurovision_Song_Contest_2012#San_Marino_semi-confirmation.3F and Talk:Eurovision_Song_Contest_2012#Are_the_new_sources_reliable.3F. The publication from Oikotimes used a source from a International Press Agency, the agency website PRWeb.com was checked out and considered reliable enough for the basis of the article. Also, San Marino announced on October 7, that they were withdrawing from JESC2011, so that they can put all their planning into ESC 2012; as shown here. Unless we can find something to state otherwise, then San Marino's inclusion in the article looks reasonable for now. Wesley Mouse ( talk) 15:44, 6 November 2011 (UTC)

Hello,
I'm not sure how your signing your posts, but you are sometimes giving the wrong time - for example here - the time was 22:29 UTC, not 23:29 UTC. So time stamps are not all over the place on Wikipedia, they are all standardised to give UTC times (also known as GMT times) all round. UTC is an hour behind Central European Time in the winter, and two hours behind in the Summer. When signing your posts please ensure you are giving the correct time. If you sign with four tildes (~~~~) or by pushing the signature button as shown at WP:SIGHOW, the correct time will be placed automatically. CT Cooper · talk 12:27, 22 November 2011 (UTC)

Hi Redpower94, you recently made an edit on ESC2012, stating that the Italian entry will be sung entirely in Italian at the contest in Baku. I have reverted the edit assuming good faith. Even though the source that you included provided a list of entries for Sanremo 2012 - all of which have Italian song titles; there was nothing in the source to state that the final version to be performed in Baku would necessarily be same language version. Don't forget that in ESC 2011 performed by Raphael Gualazzi was titled "Madness of Love" which was performed in both Italian and English; despite his Sanremo 2011 winning version being entirely in Italian. Until we know more, then the language section would be advisable to remain blank. Thanks - Wesley Mouse ( talk) 15:50, 16 January 2012 (UTC)

It is easy for editors to get into conflict with each other, and things can get very nasty on the most trivial of issues, whether that be on the language of songs, the names of certain countries, or how we deal with incidents at the contest. Bienvenue! Willkommen! Welcome! Please be warm-hearted in encouraging everyone to do their best to contribute to all Eurovision-related Wikipedia articles, and welcome our new members to the project. The past month has been an eventful one for the project as a whole. Old dramas have closed, new ones have begun. Four articles nominated for GA review, three of them passed and promoted, with one of them making ProjectEurovision history by being the first annual contest article to ever achieve GA status. If it wasn't for the hard work and the many hours of team collaborations that we have endured on this project, then those accolades would never have been gained. Each of those article promotions are as a result of your continuous determination to be part of the best team this project has seen for a long time. There is a teamwork barnstar with this newsletter for you to cherish and you may display the award on your pages if you wish. Now we look to the months ahead and start preparations for Malmo 2013, and see if we can work to getting another annual article to GA status. Here's to you - the team of excellence.

Remember that this project can only operate if we act in a cooperative manner and engage in discussions regarding article matters. If you feel an article may warrant a deletion, why not test the waters by opening a discussion on the article's talk page or our very own project talk page - before rushing off and submitting an AfD. It saves wasting time nominating an article for deletion which could end up with an overwhelming "keep" by other editors.
