Aam Aadmi Party

Thanks for your valuable opinion in the current discussion on battery operated Rickshaws in Delhi. In my opinion entire section 'protest' should be renamed to 'Aam Aadmi Party views'. Because every protest Aam Aadmi Party (or as a matter of fact any party) does shows us their views. If we see wikipedia article of 'Democratic Party of US' we can see their views & all of which does not have long term impact as well as all of which may not be equally decisive in future elections. Please let me know your thoughts on this & feel free to correct me wherever necessary.--ratastro 17:26, 18 September 2013 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rushikesh.tilak ( talkcontribs)

Regarding Dr. P. Keshava Bhat

Namasthe Rayabhari gale, a few months back you have suggested me to create a wiki page on Dr.P. Keshava Bhat and at that time it was not possible. But now i have created an article on Dr Pallathadka Keshava Bhat. I welcome your suggestions and additions for the development/improvement of the said article. Thank you and have a good time ahead!. --- Bharathiya ( talk) 04:55, 14 August 2013 (UTC)

User:Bharathiya re! Namaskara. Thanks for above effort. I will read and try to contribute,if possible. Sources are scarce. Rayabhari ( talk) 16:06, 15 August 2013 (UTC)

Rayabhari gale, Yes I know, direct sources in english are limited, however there plenty of direct sources available in spanish as he is better known in Venezuela than here. We can use google translator and add good sources here. I have already added a few reliable sources like the University one. Thank you. -- Bharathiya ( talk) 17:49, 15 August 2013 (UTC)

  • ( talk page stalker) You may find it useful to approach someone who is familiar with Venezuela and presently active on the English Wikipedia. I notice that there are a few possible candidates at Category:Wikipedians in Venezuela. Failing that, we also have categories for people who can work with an excellent (or whatever) comprehension of a given foreign language, and someone in Category:User_es or similar might fit the bill. Can you please go through the talk page of this article & comment your opinion on 'battery operated rickshaw driver's protest'

Summary of it is as below.

Topic- Which of the two versions be preferred to go into the protest section of 'Article'

Option A -

ADD - The AAP has supported various regulatory complaints raised by rickshaw operators in Delhi.

KEEP - the rest of the 'protest' section as it is.

Option B -

ADD - On 16 September 2013, Aam Aadmi Party supported e-rickshaw driver's demand in Delhi that there should be a policy on battery operated rickshaws in the capital city to stop their exploitation by Delhi Transport Department. Party also said that a subsidy should be given to manual rickshaw drivers who want to purchase e-rickshaws. Earlier in June 2013, the party had supported agitations of rickshaw drivers against ban on advertisements on auto rickshaws alleging that the ban is imposed because most rickshaw drivers supported Aam Aadmi party & carried their banners.

remove - On 10 June 2013, Kejriwal supported the agitation of Delhi auto rickshaw drivers, who were protesting the Delhi government's ban on advertisements on auto rickshaws. Kejriwal claimed that, auto rickshaw drivers supported his party and they carried AAP's advertisements on their auto rickshaws and this is the reason for Delhi Government's ban and he challenged that volunteers of AAP will put 10,000 advertisements on auto rickshaws as a protest.

Please stop running around and asking random people on their talk pages. Have the discussion on the article talk page. If we later need uninvolved people, there are several neutral processes for doing so described on WP:DR. What you are doing now violates WP:CANVAS, because you are telling currently uninvolved people the "correct" opinion (which, of course, happens to match your own). Qwyrxian ( talk) 10:12, 21 September 2013 (UTC)
Rayabhari was one of the editors who had earlier participated in the AAP talk page. That is the reason I am urging him to share his opinion. This is nowhere related to Canvassing a) While putting the options there, I did not say which one is mine, b) I have also requested the editor to come to the talk page & share his opinion (which he has done once earlier). Qwyrxian, I would suggest using my talk page for such activities. @Rayabhari Apologies for using your talkpage while answering Qwyrxian.-- ratastro ( talk) 10:44, 21 September 2013 (UTC)
You shouldn't have summarised the discussion here. You probably should not even have mentioned it here because it is already evident that Rayabhari has been participating for some time at the AAP article. If you must say something then you should say it to all people who have participated recently - not just to those who seem perhaps to favour your opinion, as you have done - and you should limited yourself to a neutral single sentence or so. For example, "Do you intend to add anything to the discussion at Talk:Aam Aadmi Party in which you recently participated?" - Sitush ( talk) 12:43, 21 September 2013 (UTC)
@Sitush, The same summary was given on Sitush (you), Qwyrxian as well as Binksternet's talk pages & all of these editors do not share my opinion. In case you have missed the point, which seems to be the case, allow me to reiterate again the fact which I explained to Qwyrxian, that while giving the summary, I did not say which option is my opinion anywhere on anybody's talk page unless I received an answer from them. Moreover anybody who properly reads my message will see that the message begins with "Can you please go through the talk page of this article".-- ratastro ( talk) 18:06, 21 September 2013 (UTC)

Namaskara Sir, I require your kind and urgent intervention on Harikumar Pallathadka page and its talk page. I feel that i am being bullied to remove the content which is having reliable sources. There's nothing stopping you from recreating a page that was previously deleted, as long as your recreated version isn't eligible for deletion. If it is then it will be deleted just like any other page. In fact the only content in the version of this article I deleted in 2007 was "I am saptarshi Chatterjee. Hi................". As you can see it doesn't give the reader any meaningful information, and that is why I deleted it. I'm sure you can do better. Hut 8.5 20:42, 25 February 2014 (UTC)

A new contributor has just posted a note on my talk page and it made me think of you. You're obviously still around but your name has not appeared much on my watchlist of late. I hope that things are going ok and, well, I've just noticed that you come from Bangalore. Now, I'm a Brit and there is no Indian blood in me but I recently found documents that prove my great-great-grandmother was born there in the 1840s. Unfortunately, her dad was on the wrong side - a soldier in the 15th Hussars! As if that weren't bad enough, last year I discovered an even older ancestor was born in the West Indies and his father was a Moravian missionary from Germany or Denmark who owned slaves while in the Caribbean.
