Import sitelinks, labels, descriptions from ku wikipedia pages which use the template
w:ku:Template:Înterwîkî etîket û danasîn. (There are over 1800 articles that use this template waiting to be connected to Wikidata at the moment.)
Add sitelinks to kuwiktionary / kuwikipedia categories / create an item for the category if necessary. I have been doing this manually for quite some time using Quickstatements but since I need to get permission for the first task, I will be handling them using a bot as well.
Upcoming:
Introducing WMF Wishathon for Wikimedia’s Community Wishlist! Tool of the week
Cersei - is a tool designed for importing or scraping data from various third-party sources, using source-specific Python code. It can use a "headless browser" to scrape complicated websites that rely on eg JavaScript to navigate. It can therefore access data sources that can not be accessed via eg Mix'n'match. The data from sources can be updated regularly, either for everything, or just changed entries (if the source has a "recent changes" equivalent).
Wikidata:Zotero/Cita - is a Wikidata addon for Zotero that adds citations (i.e., what other items an item cites) metadata support to this open source reference management software, using
cites work (P2860) information available from Wikidata, and enabling users to easily contribute missing data.
production manager (manager that is responsible for the administration of a feature film or television production; oversees production plans, controls resources, initiates production, ensures ongoing operations, monitors schedules and expenditures, and creates a detailed production schedule and budget)

MassRFD
Hi. Is there an RfD equivalent of MassCfD? --
MikutoHtalk! 22:58, 2 May 2024 (UTC)reply
MikutoH, no, but I could write a modified version of MassCFD for RfD if that would be helpful. —
Qwerfjkltalk 13:59, 3 May 2024 (UTC)reply
That would be helpful. Though I think most of y'all use XFDcloser or something, I guess it requires so user groups/status. --
MikutoHtalk! 03:28, 8 May 2024 (UTC)reply
MikutoH, XFDcloser is for closing discussions, not starting them. —
Qwerfjkltalk 16:54, 9 May 2024 (UTC)reply
For what it's worth, myself and at least a few others at NPP would love this type of feature.
Hey man im josh (
talk) 15:21, 10 May 2024 (UTC)reply
Hey man im josh,
MikutoH, you can try
User:Qwerfjkl/scripts/massXFD.js. I haven't tested it much so I'd warn against really large nominations when you're not prepared to revert your edits. Let me know what you think, and how I could improve it, as well as any bugs you find. Particularly it could break MassCfD (don't use both scripts at once). Just wanted to get something out there instead of leaving you hanging. It should work fine, but undoubtedly they'll be at least a few bugs. —
Qwerfjkltalk 17:51, 16 May 2024 (UTC)reply
It didn't work somehow. I use English Wikipedia in English but my edits acted as if it was in Portuguese, is it because of the language of my PC/browser? --
MikutoHtalk! 23:35, 16 May 2024 (UTC)reply
┌─────────────────────────────────┘ MikutoH, the latter problem was fairly easy to fix - the script was adding the nominations in the wrong place, so every else using Twinkle added their newer nominations below (
e.g.). I'll have a look at the other issue. —
Qwerfjkltalk 18:38, 18 May 2024 (UTC)reply
I've also fixed the issue of users not being notified. It was because they were idefinitely blocked, and the script skips notifying indefinitely blocked users. In this case, however, the block was only partial, so I've fixed the script accordingly. —
Qwerfjkltalk 18:53, 18 May 2024 (UTC)reply
Ok. Another thing is notifying target's talk pages (in hard redirects). --
MikutoHtalk! 19:21, 19 May 2024 (UTC)reply
A possible improvement suggestion would be selecting redirects from "Page information" page like Cat-a-lot. Not sure if this would be too complex. --
MikutoHtalk! 23:08, 23 May 2024 (UTC)reply
@
MikutoH I absolutely love that idea. It's absolutely one of the most common scenarios when you'd batch redirect nominations. Hopefully this won't be too tough an ask, because I'm quite hyped about the idea.
Hey man im josh (
talk) 00:27, 24 May 2024 (UTC)reply
Hey man im josh, at that point you're better off finding another script that can output the titles in text format, and just pasting that into MassXFD. —
Qwerfjkltalk 10:06, 24 May 2024 (UTC)reply
Good point actually. Why overcomplicate things :P
Hey man im josh (
talk) 10:45, 24 May 2024 (UTC)reply
It seems MassCFD has the same problem about browser language. And I tried submitting a merging MassXFD for categories and it simply don't go anywhere. --
MikutoHtalk! 23:43, 24 May 2024 (UTC)reply
MikutoH, yes, I haven't updated MassCFD.js - you can use MassXFD instead, that should work. There was a bug in MassXFD where it essentially used an RfD check for CfD, which I fixed earlier and I've just updated the script for now. —

/info/en/?search=Quarantine_Ring_the_alarm_challenge, I am new to this and I want to get it right. Its a song issued by Tyrese Gibson, and I want to know what is the best practices to write this article? --

Coaches 101, Welcome! Creating a new article from scratch is extremely challenging, and new editors are strongly recommended to spend a few months learning how Wikipedia works, by making improvements to some of our existing seven million articles before trying it. When you do decide to have a go at a new article, you are highly encouraged to read
WP:Your first article. If you haven't already also check out
WP:TUTORIAL; it's a lot of fun! Happy editing! —

I created an article here: would this violate Wikipedia standards?
Coaches 101, that looks too promotional for Wikipedia. I'd also encourage you to support statements with
references, especially ones that are reliable and independant of the subject. —
Qwerfjkltalk 14:59, 16 May 2024 (UTC)reply
How can the footnotes be added on as references? What are reliable sources, if editors will still think the information is promotional?

Hi Qwerfjkl! Thanks again for making MassCFDS. I truly appreciate it.
One of its features has crept into MassCFD. The old drop-down options (e.g. delete, rename, etc.) are gone, and have been replaced with C2A (rename) etc. Would you be able to fix this? Thanks, HouseBlaster (

But what it expects is

MassRFD

Coaches 101, Welcome! Creating a new article from scratch is extremely challenging, and new editors are strongly recommended to spend a few months learning how Wikipedia works, by making improvements to some of our existing seven million articles before trying it. Coaches 101, that looks too promotional for Wikipedia. I'd also encourage you to support statements with
references, especially ones that are reliable and independant of the subject. —

URBE network libraries in Wikidata, and of the collaboration that has evolved since 2020 between the Wikidata community and the cataloguers of the URBE network libraries, relating to the harmonisation of these authority records with Wikidata and the improvement of the quality of the respective data. The first part of the contribution traces the main stages of collaboration in chronological order, while the second part of the contribution presents the main areas in which the collaboration materialises (or can materialise) in the daily authority work carried out by cataloguers in theme-based groupings".

Usernamekiran, from what I can tell the issue is due to Discussion Tools. Calling get_sections_from_revid(783718598)[:2 returns:

But what it expects is
[{'anchor':'Request:_World_Cafe','byteoffset':3329,'fromtitle':'Wikipedia:Teahouse','index':'1','level':'2','line':'Request: World Cafe','number':'1','toclevel':1},{'anchor':'How_to_publish_my_page','byteoffset':8292,'fromtitle':'Wikipedia:Teahouse','index':'2','level':'2','line':'How to publish my page','number':'2','toclevel':1}
