Hi Philipmerrill, the Chinese poetry parts of Wikipedia certainly offer a fairly wide-opened field for someone interested in this area; certainly, it's a bit of an encyclopedic backwater. I've been working on it, mostly in the form of developing some basic organization. Your contributions can be very valuable in terms of Chinese poetry articles on Wikipedia. I would encourage you to feel free to be creative, and not to expect either much in the way of either applause or condemnation. The following links may be helpful to you:

I just wanted to thank everybody for the encouragement and suggestions now that I'm back for a hot minute. I would love to do more here and look forward to it when I can get the right supervision from experts. Philipmerrill ( talk) 06:54, 5 August 2016 (UTC)
You are more than welcome to continue making quality contributions to Wikipedia. Note that because you are a logged-in user, you can create articles yourself, and don't have to post a request. However, you may continue submitting work to Articles for Creation if you prefer.
Thank you for helping improve Wikipedia!
