Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Vadodara Junction railway station, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Kota. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hey Philg88. I've put in a submission for a presentation at Wikimania 2015 called Is Two the Magic Number?: The Co-op and New Editor Engagement through Mentorship. I'll be talking about the state of finding help spaces on en.wiki and how our new mentorship space, The Co-op, factors into that picture. Reviewing will begin soon and I'll need your help to be able to present our work. Please review our proposal and give us feedback. If you would be interested in seeing this presentation, whether you are attending or not, please add your name to the signup at the bottom of the proposal (you do not need to attend Wikimania to express interest in presentations). I, JethroBT drop me a line on behalf of Wikipedia:Co-op.

User:Uniquark9 seems obsessed with airbrushing the Yuan dynasty and Northern Yuan dynasty articles to his personal taste, removing or trimming information about Mongol defeats and losses while trying to aggrandize Mongol victories. 3family6 TheLeopard PericlesofAthens
@ Rajmaan: Please take these content disputes to the appropriate article talk pages-this is not the correct venue for such discussions. You can always ping me from that context if you continue to encounter problems. @ Uniquark9: I see from your talk history that you have had similar issues with other editors and have been blocked for edit warring in the past. It might be a good idea to familiarise yourself fully with Wikipedia policies, particularly with regard to reliable sources and consensus before making any further edits in support of unreferenced changes. Thanks. Philg88 ♦ talk 06:27, 10 February 2015 (UTC)
At this point, Rajmaan, I think it might be good to consider a report to WP:ANI, because I think it goes beyond a content dispute. (Yes, it sounds like I'm passing the buck (and perhaps I am - but I've been a bit out of the loop, given that I actually didn't realize until I was about to suggest RfC again that RfC no longer dealt with user behavior issues, and I also think that for me to be involved may be counterproductive given that Uniquarck9's objection, valid or not (and I don't think they are valid) was reliance on Chinese sources, which I myself do on a very regular basis).) Another administrator uninvolved with this subject area might be able to better convince him/her as to behavior, and, if unable to do so, take actions. If that failed, request for arbitration may be warranted. If you were to make an ANI report, I would suggest keeping it simple: your complaint is not that Uniquarck9 disagrees with you about content, but that he deletes without discussion and fails to respond to your good faith efforts to discuss. Further, he disparages based on ethnic origin. These are the points that violate policy, not the content disagreement, as such. -- Nlu ( talk) 03:19, 12 February 2015 (UTC)
Sorry, Rajmaan, I only just saw this (it's always best to start a new topic rather than continue one buried half way up the page). I see that Uniquark has now been blocked for two weeks and in the case of Ceithe, I suggest you report the editor at ANI or 3RR if you feel that action is required. Cheers, Philg88 ♦ talk 06:42, 2 March 2015 (UTC)
Dear Philg88, another GA review for Sunil Kumar Verma is in progress by I JethroBT as you can see on its talk page. But the nomination page does not say that the review has been started. Could you please see what is wrong and where? Or this is normal? Educationtemple ( talk) 14:53, 15 February 2015 (UTC)

Good website @ W.carter:. Educationtemple ( talk) 18:40, 15 February 2015 (UTC)
Dear Philg88, GA for Sunil Kumar Verma is successful! There was a day when I was struggling to rescue the article from afd, and you helped me in that! This article is here only because of your help. Thank you! Educationtemple ( talk) 18:51, 4 March 2015 (UTC)
Dear Philg88, and @ Jim Carter: I note that admin Crisco 1492 is making unreasonable comments all the time! I see in the history of Sunil Kumar Verma that in the past also, he, along with some other editors, who just came on WP only to oppose Sunil Kumar Verma such as a user Inderneal ( whom you warned once) had lots of unreasonable argument about UPT and DNA barcoding, and deleted Sunil Kumar Verma which is now a GA!It seems some of them is from Canada and they cant tolerate that the fact is highlighted anywhere by any mean even though it is now public in news in more than 20 countries and being discussed in scientific journals. I have requested admin Crisco 1492 to not make unreasonable allegations. Educationtemple ( talk) 05:30, 7 March 2015 (UTC)
Hello. In the back end, I am working on many articles, this is the way, I work. Not like one edit here and another there! I do complete work and then leave it. You will see a series of article from me in near future and all of them will be written GA quality. Just wait please..and let me work! I may not know all rules and regulations and terms of WP that you know being a senior administrator. But, I am not unreasonable. Please note that the discussion(s) in GA was much longer than the article itself, and then it was promoted to GA. Any way, being a senior admin, I hope you welcome new comers on WP rather than confusing them with technical terms, rather guide them in a graceful manner. If this happen, I will loose interest on WP and leave it since I dont like to be blamed the way you are doing on my working style! Thank you. Educationtemple ( talk) 07:01, 7 March 2015 (UTC)
Dear Philg, I am a person, who dont want to heart anyone even in real life! Rgds. Educationtemple ( talk) 08:24, 7 March 2015 (UTC)

Dear Philh88: I am leaving for a trip in 10 mins from now. Before, I leave, I have a question and your answer will determine whether I should continue on wiki after I come back or not!!
I worked hard - developed some article @ W.carter: is witness how many human hours we spent together to bring them to GA. We both discussed many other possible articles and planned them for future. My question is once a person writes an article, is he only supposed to defend it all the time or other good, considerate people are also around to speak for it? If first is the case, I am sorry, I wont be able to do it, since I am neither an advocate nor relative of anyone here.
The DYK hook for Sunil Kumar Verma was "... that Sunil Kumar Verma was co-inventor of Universal primer technology, which allows identification of any unknown biological sample and its assignment to a known species source?" Today, one editor changed the word "invented" to "claimed to have invented" in the line which was part of DYK hook. This single word, which I think is not appropriate diluted the fact and thus, the entire article. I thought (and likewise other reviewers of DYK, GA etc) that it was no more a "claim", rather it was a fact as supported by lots of sources (some of them we have to delete during GA by @ I JethroBT: during GAR since we thought that it was "over killing" and not necessary to cite all of them. I am sure Jethro will support this.
Also, the same editor left a comment on its talk age that the the line "This technology has revitalised the field of wildlife forensics and is now routinely used across India to provide a species identification service in cases of wildlife crime." is not appropriately sourced. I can see the line coming from statement of Indian minister from source No 19 in the article and backed up by news from national news papers of India. Why cant he see it? What is the reply to such comments??
Now my problem is that if I start arguing, everyone will blame me that I have some ties with the subjects!
Another article created by me Vijender Kumar already sent in afd. He is Vice Chancellor, which is the head of institution. If I remember correctly, this itself is enough to prove that he is a notable figure.
Are there other people around to speak, when something like this happen and revert the unreasonable edits done in articles? or it is the original writer all the time, who is supposed to do everything?? I am so sad, and feeling like returning all the barnstars etc that were given to me during last 2 months or so for my work by some learned editors here!
If no one can speak, then there is no point to spend so much time and energy here! Please guide me.
Regards. Educationtemple ( talk) 20:51, 7 March 2015 (UTC)
@ Educationtemple: Our friend is right, you need to take a break. No one on Wikipedia "owns" articles that they create or edit and sometimes people will make changes you don't like or agree with. That's where consensus comes in—you discuss the changes on the article's talk page and reach a compromise that all parties are reasonably happy with. Of course you should come back and edit here but for now have a rest and return fully refreshed. Cheers, Philg88 ♦ talk 05:58, 8 March 2015 (UTC)
