They don't advertise it much, but all of Transfermarkt's database content is user-generated, making it no more reliable than Wikipedia itself. You'll find an WP:RSN discussion on the matter here, and the decision to disallow Transfermarkt as a source has been reinforced by the WikiProject Football in hte intervening years. The numbers might be perfectly accurate, but without proper sourcing they do not belong in the article, and the burden to find these source lies with the editor who adds the content, you. Hi Paulgush. Thank you for taking an interest in the article Airspeed. I am currently examining your recent edits, and particularly your edits to the lead section.
Wikipedia guidelines recommend that “… the lead section should be accessible to as broad an audience as possible.” See MOS:INTRO which also says “Where possible, avoid difficult-to-understand terminology …”
Some of your editing is not consistent with these guidelines. For example in your recent edit to the lead you added: IAS: “It is calculated using impact pressure from the pitot static system, assuming sea level static pressure and speed of sound.” (See your diff)
A broad general audience cannot be expected to comprehend such concepts as impact pressure, pitot static system, sea level static pressure, or the significance of the speed of sound – especially for a low-speed aircraft.
An advanced audience of aerospace engineers will challenge your suggestion that indicated airspeed is calculated. Indicated airspeed is influenced by the position error, and this error can only be determined by flight test methods such as tower fly-by, trailing static, or using GPS to fly a triangular course.
Wikipedia recommends that “It is particularly important for the first section (the "lead" section, above the table of contents) to be understandable to a broad readership.” See WP:EXPLAINLEAD.
Our article on Airspeed is a technical article, and WP:Make technical articles understandable provides a lot of good advice on writing for technical articles.
