Beware that dates like 12-28-2013 can be confusing. For example, 01-02-2013 could be interpreted as either 1 Feb 2013 or Jan 2, 2013. You shoudl use either pure numbers like 2013-02-01 (yyyy-mm-dd) or with a spelt out month (eg 1 Feb 2013 or Jan 2, 2013). More details at
