User:TenPoundHammer has been redirecting all the articles on episodes of CSI: Las Vegas, CSI: Miami and CSI: New York to the articles on these shows' seasons. Some articles were still from minimal to inexistent, but some were already full despite the need for some revision, such as Turbulence (CSI: NY), or needing just a little augment, such as Kill Clause (CSI: Miami). Should these removals be reverted? They can be considered vandalism, even if unintentional. You're the only film/television editor I could find. An Administrator would perhaps add to the decision. Thank you very much for Helping to stop 'Disruptive Editing' however, the 'disruptive editing' warning you gave to User Jccope1029 on 03:49, 26 February 2011 (UTC) was unwarranted given the simple facts of how long the user has been registered (Jccope1029 reg date and time per 'user creation log' is 03:35, 26 February 2011) and the type of edits they made (incorrect Wiki code). Hi. I wanted to thank you for rolling back the edits of Josh Rumage and his socks. He tends to cover a lot of articles so rolling them all back by myself is quite a pain. Just to let you know, I reverted your rollback on the Laraine Day article because I went through yesterday (after realizing who was editing the page) and attempted to get rid of the content added by Josh's socks. Sorry, but this flippant introduction is a reference to your nemesis, Neptunekh2, well I came across them at the help desk last night and, on visiting their user page and talk page, assumed that they were a new user who had gone ballistic on their user page and then proceeded to edit enthusiastically, without reading WP guidelines. I also noted that they have a userbox indicating Asperger's Syndrome so I have tried posting to their talk page (kid gloves and all that).
Well, then I saw the charming posts to your talk page (hence the title of this section) and the person's regular blanking of their talk page, totally ignoring any messages and so on from other editors etc. Do you patrol this person? I have checked several of the diffs from last night and saw that you had reverted them. I have just installed Twinkle, so in the edit history I assume if there is [rollback] this page has not been checked?

Are you willing to discuss your edits, or would you prefer to edit war? Also, I expect that henceforth you will stop reverting changes to filmography with edit summaries claiming WP:ACCESS, because 1) your repreated reverting of anything that would fix a problem for readers demonstrates that your edits are not about readers, but about something else. 2) I don't see anything about rowspan and colspan on the ACCESS page, so any revert on that basis appears per se invalid. Gimmetoo ( talk) 08:35, 21 August 2011 (UTC)
Please pardon my intrusion, but both rowspans and colspans can be detrimental to accessibility as well as usability (e.g. sorting). My colleague Dodoiste was too literal when he wrote "this criterion is not part of any accessibility referential". It is true that it is not part of the W3C standards, but many US government websites have to conform to Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, and the result is typically this (taken from the Inland Revenue Services site at http://www.irs.gov/irm/part2/irm_02-025-005.html - section 2.25.5.4.5.7 Data Tables, Technical Requirements (g) and (h) ):
Now, I don't claim that we must slavishly follow what the US government does. I don't want to invade Iran, for example. Nevertheless, there is a clear indication that sufficient people have found rowspan/colspan to cause problems with assistive technology that web design guidelines have been written for major sites to avoid such problems where possible. There really is an improvement for some of our most disadvantaged users if we do our best to create tables without rowspan/colspan. I'd encourage you to do the same. -- RexxS ( talk) 04:33, 22 August 2011 (UTC)
I very intentionally left the conversation on the Talk:Christian Bale, but collapsed, because I assumed a new/unconfirmed user wouldn't know about edit summaries, and would just be either bitter or confused that their words were removed, and then possibly repost them. Collapsing it let me keep them there but still leave a clear explanation as to why the subject matter would not be discussed. Maybe in a week or two it could be removed, or we could just let it stay there until it gets archived. I do remove posts from talk pages per WP:NOTFORUM, but only when its an issue that's been raised multiple times, or it's also WP:SOAPBOXing. Not really sure how it is spam, on Glamour Photography, to point out that airbrushing is no longer done (except by the rare rare stickler for the classics) and replaced by digital retouching, and citing an article for more detail?
The reversion is just wrong.
I would not be surprized to find that over 99% of glamour photography today is not airbrushed.
And, any reference to airbrush is a left over lay term and missusage.

I notice you have deleted large parts of the Rachel McAdams page, including sourced reviews of her films and sourced quotes about her thoughts on the films. This seems to me to just be a matter of personal taste rather than any wikipedia policy (correct me if I'm wrong). In addition, if you notice sentences without a citation, please just add a "citation needed" template, as this is more productive. The article recently had a peer review, and it was recommended that quotes and tidbits be added throughout the article to bring it to Featured Article standard. At the moment, it's just very bare facts and not particularly compelling to read. Obviously, it's still a long way off FA standard now, but that's the aim, and you're more than welcome to help if you so wish. The review quoting may seem excessive at the minute but it's a work in progress and will be balanced out with information of character research etc. Also, what do you mean by "hit this/that"? Please look at the Reese Witherspoon article - I've been using that FA as a template. Thanks, Popeye191 ( talk) 07:50, 9 October 2011 (UTC)

Hi Nympf, re. New-Zealand born: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:OPENPARA#Opening_paragraph, Sentence 3.1.: "3. Context (location, nationality, or ethnicity); 1. In most modern-day cases this will mean the country of which the person is a citizen or national, or was a citizen when the person became notable."
If New-Zealand born is not correct - is New Zealand-Australian correct? The subject is citizen of both countries. Was the part "New Zealand" cancelled because no reliable source was added? The person underwent influences of New Zealand culture between his 0-4 and 14-21 year which shows up in his choice of roles as much as in his opinions and behaviour, an important information regarding his Oevre. Embezzling the person´s New Zealand citizenship in the opening paragraph - see 3.1. - leads to an infringement of neutral point of view. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Neutral_point_of_view

I have a banner at the top of the page, but if I had a dollar for everyone who has noticed it, I'd be broke. Also, are you female? Is that you on your User page? I'm female, too, which is why I'm asking (and, wow). I always get called "he" as does everyone here till proved otherwise.-- TEHodson 04:14, 4 January 2012 (UTC)

Hi. In Projector (album), you recently added a link to the disambiguation page Fredrik Johansson ( check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. For more information, see the FAQ or drop a line at the DPL WikiProject.

isn't it proper to use separate sections on the projector page? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.206.44.191 ( talk) 22:51, 7 December 2011 (UTC)
I left a couple of long posts for anonymous user 66; as you can see he hasn't shown up again to discuss. I did some editing of the article's plot summary, and agree it needs more help. Hope he/she doesn't just hit and run like most anon. users. Drives me nuts.
A question: how did you create that yellow banner at the top of the page? It popped up when I hit New Section, and I need something like that on my Talk page.
Per my request, User:Edgar181 has temporarily semi-protected the page and removed what he could find. You might want to check it though and see if anything else should go, I'll take a look as well. Calabe 1992 15:04, 6 January 2012 (UTC)
