That's what I was trying to say on ANI, without saying it out loud :) Wildthing61476 ( talk) 21:16, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
Quick question. I'm having trouble finding the procedure for citing the same source twice in one article without having it show up twice in the the notes section. See here. I'm attempting to have it show up like the first source here and here in Triple H's article, but can't seem to find how to anywhere on WP:CITE. Thanks. Gavyn Sykes ( talk) 19:04, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for the barnstar! Also, I have 897 pages on my list =] iMatthew T. C. 20:15, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
I've tried to add Insane Clown Posse's wrestling facts, but they were removed because it "needs better references." My edit is here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/?title=Insane_Clown_Posse&diff=217139700&oldid=217120254
Since you work on wrestling pages I was wondering if you thought the references were fine as is, becuase alot of pages don't even have references for the wrestling facts. Juggalobrink ( talk) 23:20, 4 June 2008 (UTC)
Yes, juggalowrestling is JCW's official website. Thanks for the reply. Also, do you happen to know any sites that list tag teams moves? I've checked some such sites as OWW and they all list ICP's individual specials. I really can't think of any other way to provide references for the moves besides youtube, which obviously isn't right. Juggalobrink ( talk) 20:05, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
lol yes, that's understandable. ICP isn't known much, or liked, in the wrestling industry. Well thanks for all your help. I will certainly cite some DVDs. Juggalobrink ( talk) 19:55, 6 June 2008 (UTC)

Hi, you said not the change Lance Cade's birth date to 1981 but the site Family Tree Legends shows that he was married on June 14th 2000 and was aged 19. His birthday is March 2nd so if he was born in 1980 he would've been 20, but he was only 19 hence he was born in 1981. Plus in the RedOut article entitled "Nebraskan Kicking Ass in WWE" which was published on February 24th 2004 it states Cade's age as 22. If he was born in 1980 he would've been 23. Do you think that is enough to show he was born in 1981? Cheers. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Little-al90 ( talk • contribs) 11:17, 3 July 2008 (UTC)
Hi again, yes on Family Tree Legends it does say birth date 1980/1981 however like I posted before his wedding date was June 14th 2000 and Family Tree Legends stated his age on his wedding day to be 19. Since his b'day is March 2nd he would've been 20 on June 14th 2000 if he was born in 1980, so for him to be 19 he would've been born in 1981. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Little-al90 ( talk • contribs) 16:40, 3 July 2008 (UTC)
Hi, here's another site with his marriage record on it. It's in alphabetical order, so scroll down to McNaught and you'll see he was aged 19 on June 14th 2000, hence was born on March 2nd 1981. [1] And another site stating he graduated high school in 1999 so would've been born in 1981 for him to be aged 18 and graduate high school. [2] —Preceding unsigned comment added by Little-al90 ( talk • contribs) 16:48, 3 July 2008 (UTC)

As I'm sure you noticed above, this is the 20th edition of the WikiProject Professional wrestling newsletter! It has come a long way since the first issue, and I'm sure it will only improve from here. I'd like to thank everyone reading this for continuing to read the newsletter, biweekly. I'd like to especially thank those who have helped to get the newsletter to it's 20th edition; The Hybrid, The Chronic, TJ Spyke, Alex Roggio, LAX, ThinkBlue, Nikki311, GaryColemanFan, Gavyn Sykes, D.M.N., Naha, NiciVampireHeart, SRX, Zenlax and, RkOrton. Also, lastly I'd like to thank Misza13, for sending the newsletter out for us, though his bot. His bot has to be the most important part of the process, because without it, the newsletter would not get sent to project members. I know that's a long list, but they all deserve recognition for their hard work towards the newsletter. So again, thank you to that list of people, and thank you to all of the newsletter's biweekly readers. If you have an questions, comments, or feedback about the newsletter, remember those links below. Contributors to this Issue: |
I wanted to let you know a few things about when ur formatting the new tables. {{ sort}} is used for things that need sorting on a sortable wikitable, not for everything use, so you dont need to do it for the times, just put a 0 in the front (i.e. 06:50 as opposed to 6:50), these templates dont need to be used for everything, and the match numbers dont need sorting at all. If you check the revisions, I also made a few other style edits to way your changing into the table formatting, if you would like the see the way I'm doing it. — Moe ε 23:44, 5 July 2008 (UTC)

Hi, I received your message about editing the table contents of pay per views. My apologies as I am new to wikipedia. However, what I was doing was simply adding the finish to the matched from 2006 onward. it is a far simpler system and very informative. I meant no harm, but was annoyed at its immediate deletion as it took me several hours and was all done properly with links etc. Can we discuss why you think it to be a bad idea. Thanks PS - in future can you please let me know first before deleting my many hours of work. Thanks User - Scorpio44 - Sorry didn't know how to sign it properly:) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Scorpio44 ( talk • contribs) 10:49, 9 July 2008 (UTC)
Hi, thanks for that, and it is understood. I have always read match results on wikipedia and was used to reading how the match ended. As such, and while this may go against consensus, I would ask that you reconsider adding the match ending, as the event descriptions are long and vague, it is my contention that adding the match ending to the results would aid all wrestling fans, including those unable to ask of this as I am. I will respect your decision, but I would ask that you reconsider it, from all angles. Thanks very much Scorpio44 ( talk) 13:18, 9 July 2008 (UTC)
I would also like for you to consider the formatting that I have redone on WrestleMania XIV. When there is a multi-competitor contest like a battle royal or something that includes a bunch of teams like the WrestleMania XIV article, I make the extra participants in the match a ref note at the end of the table formatting. — Moe ε 23:16, 9 July 2008 (UTC)
Hi, you and me have never officially met but lets get that over with. My name is William and nice to meet you. As you can see by the name of the section I have a request. Since you're better at the new Table formatting than I am, to tell you the truth I just don't like to screw around with them, would you mind table formatting Victory Road (2004), Turning Point (2004), Final Resolution (2005), all of the Lockdowns ( 2005, 2006, and 2007), all of the Slammiversarys ( 2005, 2006, and 2007 (I'll do 08 since I've been working on it)), and all of the Bound for Glories ( 2005, 2006, and 2007) whenever you get time? It would be a big help since I'm not sure exactly how they're suppose to be done.-- Will C 06:16, 9 July 2008 (UTC)
All I did when I started back in February was add matches to ppvs and fix vandy. Then I started figuring out references and other stuff. When Slammiversary (2008) came around some guy started the report for it which made me think that I want the TNA stuff to be more important but I never thought to actually try. So since then I've been trying to make it all better, even though I suck at reports. I've wrote Destination X (2008), Lockdown (2008), Sacrifice (2008), Slammiversary (2008), and Victory Road (2008). Destination X, Sacrifice, and Slammiverary all need alot of help. I've fixed more of Lockdown in my sandbox so it might make GA status. Hopefully it will. Victory Road is almost perfect and it hasn't even happened yet. To tell you the truth I think it looks better than Night of Champions (2008)-- Will C 07:20, 9 July 2008 (UTC)
I'm mainly a editor that just does the samethings all the time so I've never really needed to look around. I just fixed links and added matches. I just recently in the past month started to go to WT:PW more and done my part in the project. So I'll probably start looking at each of them more. What did you do when you started here?-- Will C 09:52, 10 July 2008 (UTC)
No problem, everything I said was true. Most of the time when I look at my watchlist your name is everywhere. I usually just see your name, iMatthew, Gavyn Sykes, SRX, and a few others. Yeah it is going to be hard but I need to set the bar high. I'll probably focus on Bound for Glory more than any other article. Every references will probably be from PWTorch, Westling Observer, TNA, and Slam. None from anyother unless I have too. So references won't be a problem. I'll make sure the whole article sounds like a English major from Harvard wrote it. Include everything that should be added, added. Just have it be amazing. Then hopefully with all the time I've placed in it, it will be a FA.-- Will C 00:42, 11 July 2008 (UTC)
Okay, if you don't mind can I try to change your mind because I have a very good reason to try? As long as you will let me first?-- Will C 01:48, 11 July 2008 (UTC)
Yes and No, maybe?, not sure. It is harder for me since I'm slow and usually need stuff spelled out for me. Though it was spelled out for me. lol. I care about really everyone. Not just because of my Religion when I'm not even for religion. I'm just for I guess the meeting purposes. Like to talk about God but not make a whole Church system out of it. Organized Religion isn't my thing even though I'm a part of one. I don't really know you but getting to talk to you I care about you as a friend now. I think after I write the event for Victory Road I'll stop for a while. Then come back after I'm back in school.-- Will C 08:06, 14 July 2008 (UTC)
It has been my dream for years to go to Harvard. I know how much I need to get in. I plan on getting a free ride. If you had my test scores and hobbies you would probably think you could get in there too. My IQ is 160. I'm above average and really technically a genius. I enjoy studying Religion, Science, History, engineering, Philosophy, macrobiotics, etc. I believe if I can get good scores on my ACTs and SATs, I might get a interview with someone about a scholarship. If I get a interview I'll go to Boston and win my way into Harvard by just impressing whoever interviews me. I believe that is my destiny to have my dream. Everyday I notice something new that shows me God wants me to achieve. I'm on this Earth for a reason and it is a big reason. I've been to a doctor about my rage and other stuff. Actually I've been to 3. One about ADD. Which turned out to be wrong. Then I went to a different one about it and she said a little. So I guess four. Went to one so I could concentrate and to not piss my mother off. Another for the same reason. She didn't find anything wrong with me. She thought I was interesting because I could just be myself. One time my mother was with me in the class and I walked out because I got pissed. She found the reason was my mother. We've never been back :). Also I've understood that I have alot to do but I'm going to be like that till next year in the summer. I have to get these articles done. Then I have to go back to school, which means I have no time off again. I'll sign up for Baseball this Spring. Then football next year. Alot of crap around the house I have to do. I also have to fix my car and get a job. More stress after more stress. I guess next year there won't be as much but not until next year will I be normal again. If you do get blocked I'll be watching and waiting. Just to see what you have to say. I have about everyone I've ever talked to talk page in my watchlist. Brian is nothing without Paul. Deuce on RAW bites! Well, at least Matt Striker is on RAW.-- Miss Lindsie ( talk) 05:20, 26 June 2008 (UTC)
Hey, would you be able to help me with Backlash (2005). I'll finish the fourth match and you do the fifth and main event match if you want to, while I do the Aftermath. Cheers.- Cimmo ( talk) 10:52 1 July (UTC)
That's ok. Thanks anyway. Cheers.- Cimmo ( talk) 10:56 1 July (UTC)
Hey Nici, I'll be gone the majority of the day today, so I'll need to send Misza the message for the newsletter. BUT, PLEASE do not send it out until the statistics table is updated. It will most likely be updated by a bot today. The table is here. Idk, if you have done it before, but you just copy the entire page and paste it OVER last week's statistics. Cheers, -- iMatthew T.

So I really don't want you to go to hell.-- Will C 02:54, 11 July 2008 (UTC)

So I've seen you do it before at Peer Review, do you think you could give Armageddon (2006) a Pre-GA review? Cheers, -- iMatthew T. C. 15:19, 13 July 2008 (UTC)
Well I went about a few hours without saying anything to you. It felt like hell. lol. Would you mind reading Lockdown (2008) and tell me if it has a chance at making GA? That is if you don't mind?-- Will C 06:07, 12 July 2008 (UTC)
Okay, I'm not really paying attention right now. I was trying to upload a video to youtube. I'll go strike out all that I've done.-- Will C 07:17, 12 July 2008 (UTC)
Okay, I'm done with what you said besides one. I even went head and tried to take care of more problems.-- Will C 22:44, 12 July 2008 (UTC)
Okay, good. Nikki311 did a copyedit. I asked her to read it and I guess she found a few mistakes. So I guess with you finding somemore and she fixing a few then it will pass, hopefully. I'll fix them as soon as I get done with fixing Victory Road (2008) since it just came on.-- Will C 00:01, 14 July 2008 (UTC)
I'm use to it. I've had alot of stress since I became home schooled. That is one reason I've been trying to get some done. I'm trying to go back to public school. My school year goes all the year around. I begin in September and end in August. My school begins in August so I have to get done early.
My name is William Mark-Howard Chaudoin and I'm going to do something amazing in the future.-- Will C 00:30, 15 July 2008 (UTC)
Thanks and good luck to you too.-- Will C 01:34, 15 July 2008 (UTC)

We definitely do not get paid to do this, but you still work very hard and do whatever you can to make Wikipedia articles better. -- iMatthew T. C. 23:50, 15 July 2008 (UTC) |
So as soon as I see something like block, I'll be there. Also my friends call me insane, that and free willy.-- Will C 07:23, 17 July 2008 (UTC)
I just sent it to you so you should get it now. I kind of wrote alot. I can go on and on sometimes. Though I'm very quite in-person.-- Will C 07:56, 17 July 2008 (UTC)

I don't have the book you are looking for, but you might try a Google Book Search. Click here!!!! lol. I've found this little gem helpful in finding sources in the past. Ted's book only has a limited preview, though, so it may not work for what you are looking for....but it is worth a shot, right?! Nikki 311 04:54, 19 July 2008 (UTC)
