Hi Nice4What! Thanks for contributing to Wikipedia. We hope to see you there!
Delivered by HostBot on behalf of the Teahouse hosts 16:05, 12 April 2018 (UTC) |
Hello Nice4What,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged 2018 American-led missile strikes in Syria for deletion, because it appears to duplicate an existing Wikipedia article, 2018 coalition military action against Syria.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.
SamHolt6 ( talk) 01:34, 14 April 2018 (UTC)
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, 2018 American-led missile strikes in Syria. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – 2018 coalition military action against Syria. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at 2018 coalition military action against Syria. If you have new information to add, you might want to discuss it at the article's talk page.
If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. — C.Fred ( talk) 01:56, 14 April 2018 (UTC)
This is your only warning; if you create an
inappropriate page again, as you did at
2018 American-led missile strikes in Syria, you may be
blocked from editing without further notice. If you remove the redirect again, you will be blocked.

This message is being sent to let you know of a discussion at the Wikipedia:Dispute resolution noticeboard regarding a content dispute discussion you may have participated in. Content disputes can hold up article development and make editing difficult for editors. You are not required to participate, but you are both invited and encouraged to help this dispute come to a resolution. Please join us to help form a consensus. Thank you! There's nothing wrong with an accompanying little bit of humour, but this, "cocaine up in her veins", didn't describe what you did to the article. Ss 112 13:40, 22 April 2018 (UTC)
It does not matter if Post Malone himself posted the alternative cover. Two covers should only be used with a very good reason, and as there is no discernible edition that the other cover has been used for, it should not be there. If you disagree, take it to the talk page. Learn to start discussing things rather than edit warring. WP:BRD, WP:CONSENSUS. Ss 112 19:40, 28 April 2018 (UTC)
Please review Talk:Venom (2018 film) before you edit the page again. It appears that you are starting to engage in another edit war—and worse, it looks like this is a situation where you are clearly editing against consensus. — C.Fred ( talk) 00:36, 30 April 2018 (UTC)
Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at
Invasion of Privacy (album). Your edits appear to be
disruptive and have been or will be
reverted.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continual disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. There is no rule to credit songwriters of a sampled song by putting notes next to their name and it is certainly not done on "every article". In fact, you appear to be adding it yourself all over the place. Discuss it and stop restoring it. 15:56, 30 April 2018 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 2018 in hip hop music, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Offset ( check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Hello, Nice4What. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Upcoming Nas album, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

Hello, Nice4What,
I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether Upcoming Nas album should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Upcoming Nas album .
If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.
Thanks,

Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. RonBot ( talk) 17:22, 22 June 2018 (UTC)

Tidal is not "our source". I wrote the track listing and I've never seen Tidal in my life. As @ Koavf: said above, Tidal is a questionable source; it is a streaming music service promoting the album; questionable sources include those that are promotional in nature ( WP:QUESTIONABLE). Furthermore, the link you provided renders a "page not found" when attempting to access it. And lastly, don't engage in an edit war when specific changes of yours have been disputed by multiple editors, not just at Channel Orange. It is an indication that your change is controversial, meaning you should start a discussion and obtain consensus before making it again. Dan56 ( talk) 10:01, 11 September 2018 (UTC)
By the way, thanks for informing me about how Tidal publishes inaccurate and incomplete liner notes. I'll be sure to remove it as a source when I see it in the future. ― Justin (koavf)❤ T☮ C☺ M☯ 01:05, 17 September 2018 (UTC)

Thank you for uploading File:Open Border - TransTasman.png. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.
If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.
Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Hello, Nice4What. Voting in the 2018 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 3 December. All users who registered an account before Sunday, 28 October 2018, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Thursday, 1 November 2018 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2018 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery ( talk) 18:42, 19 November 2018 (UTC)

Your recent editing history at Everything Is Love shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. The article Mixed Personalities has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Does not meet WP:NSONG, did not chart, contains unreliable source(s). See: Wikipedia is not a soapbox or means of promotion.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your
edit summary or on
the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the
proposed deletion process, but other
deletion processes exist. In particular, the
speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and
articles for deletion allows discussion to reach
consensus for deletion.

Thank you for uploading File:Boo, World's Cutest Dog.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.
If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. We don't get a free pass on non-free use just because someone (or a dog) has recently passed away. If that person (or dog) was a public figure, there are plenty of opportunities for people to take free images of that subject - or - we can contact relatives (or owners) to supply a free image. If we get to the point where a free image is clearly not available - which in this case would be significantly longer than one day - then we can revisit the issue. You currently appear to be engaged in an
edit war according to the reverts you have made on
Accession of Macedonia to NATO; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Users are expected to
collaborate with others, to avoid editing

A tag has been placed on File:University of Farmington logo.png requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F2 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a missing or corrupt image or an empty image description page for a Commons-hosted image.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". 云间守望 - ( Talk with WQL) 16:27, 15 February 2019 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Sunday Service Coachella performance, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page DMX ( check to confirm | fix with Dab solver).

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your
edit summary or on
the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the
proposed deletion process, but other
deletion processes exist.

If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. – Davey2010 Talk 19:25, 20 January 2019 (UTC)

13:10, 21 January 2019 (UTC)Thanks for uploading File:Mixed Personalities music video thumbnail (cropped).jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. -- B-bot ( talk) 03:36, 28 January 2019 (UTC)
Thanks for uploading
File:Green Apple Hi-Chew.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate
copyright tag, it may be deleted some time after the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{
PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{
self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}}
(to require that you be credited), or any tag
here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by MifterBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: Once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. -- MifterBot ( Talk • Contribs • Owner) 23:46, 30 January 2019 (UTC)

Is there a specific reason why you've chosen to change "London, England" to "London, United Kingdom" on the infobox for 21 Savage? The change doesn't appear to be consistent with all the other U.K. artist pages that use "England" as the country. E.g. Adele, Jessie J, Skepta, etc. Limmidy ( talk) 08:12, 9 February 2019 (UTC)
Please do not move the article Accession of Macedonia to NATO again, there is no consensus to move it on the talk page and WP:NCMAC is still in effect (except for the main article which is to be moved to North Macedonia before NCMAC is updated). -- Michail ( blah) 18:36, 11 February 2019 (UTC)
You currently appear to be engaged in an
edit war according to the reverts you have made on
Accession of Macedonia to NATO; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Users are expected to
collaborate with others, to avoid editing
disruptively, and to
try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Points to note:
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Resnjari ( talk) 18:49, 11 February 2019 (UTC)

云间守望 - ( Talk with WQL) 16:27, 15 February 2019 (UTC)

Request reason:
Edited the page and made two reverts to stay within the bounds of WP:3RR, and then brought the edit warring dispute to talk page. 48 hours seems a bit excessive, especially when removing violations of WP:FAIRUSE. Previous two blocks were because of a dispute on content.
Accept reason:

Hi, per WP:BRD, you will need to find consensus for the split, as it has been stable as a single template for 6 months (see WP:EDITCONSENSUS). I'd suggest you take it to the talk page, although I can see no justification for the split. -- wooden superman 12:40, 8 April 2019 (UTC)
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Sunday Service Coachella performance, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page DMX ( check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
