MatthewVanitas ( talk) 19:03, 16 January 2015 (UTC)If you're around Slemani, we also lack an article on Amna Suraka Museum , if you would like to tackle that topic.
I emphasize though, you need to use more outside citations, like news media, international organizations, etc. to prove facts about the museum, not just quote the museum itself. And we do not need hours, prices, etc since this is an article for the ages, not a tour guide for this week.
If you are able to write about the Amna Suraka Museum, and perhaps provide a photo, that would be a great addition to both our coverage of Kurdistan and our coverage of museums! Nice work! MatthewVanitas ( talk) 19:06, 16 January 2015 (UTC)

Hi. I can see from the information on your profile that you work in the academia. this is probably your profile.
I am looking for expert active wikimedia users with academic background and some bibliometric record (so I can prepare their wikidata items) to work as jurors for the next Wiki Science Competition. We still miss volunteers from countries without a national jury, like Malaysia. You would represent with nationality and workplace some countries that we miss. Plus, we only have one juror is a doctor, but noone in the second-level jury.
Would you be interested to join?
The jurors are not supposed to be all wikimedians, but we wish to promote the use of the images on the platforms and show that there is a continuum between the wiki-world and the academia. At the same time, I want all the jurors to show they are involved in the peer-reviewed process, so the uploaders can see they are students and researchers like them.
You might get visibility in exchange (the site will receive thousands of visits).
Let me know. The event starts on 01/11/2017 or maybe two weeks later. We can define the last details of the jury during the month of November, but we'd like to be almost ready in two weeks, in order to provide the challengers with a rough idea of the composition of the juries.
In any case, we can contact you next time if you are still interested but you can't join this time.
Also if you can spread the news around in your working environment, that would be great!

I'm very grateful for this explanation! As you (may) know, I'm a neurologist and an associate professor, and yes I was an editor-in-chief and a guest editor, but my field is distant from this subject of photography. I live in Iraq and I have photographed a vast number of objects in Museums around the World, and I have uploaded quite a few numbers here in Wikipedia and Wikimedia. Many of my images mention that the name of the sculptor/creator was not mentioned or I have mentioned his/her name clearly, including the year of their work's creation (if available). Please, I would be grateful if you may kindly advise me on what to do with respect to this subject in the future when I upload images? Warmest regards. Your work is amazing! The image at CDLI is very poor in comparison—it's just a copy of the photograph in Baqir's original journal article. Do you work in some official capacity with the Museum or do you just take these photos as a visitor? Your IM 67118 photo is dated March 2019. Was it really taken just last year? If so, it's a relief to know that the tablet is still in the Museum's possession and proudly displayed. Will Orrick ( talk) 21:48, 24 May 2020 (UTC)

I totally understand your comment about the rudeness of some contributors. Wikipedia is an exercise in humility: you are never protected from a complete cultural jerk challenging your contributions. You are never shielded from the abuse of some foul-mouthed otaku or nationalist. But in the end, it does not really matter, it is the characteristic of the internet, being open to anyone, from anywhere, of any age group and from any cultural background. Nobody really cares about rude language or attitudes, you just have to stay above the fray, and disengage when it turns unpleasant. What defines us is not the abuse we are submitted to, but the way we respond (or don't respond!) to it. What is important is that, thanks to the openness of this system, we can indeed contribute to the knowledge of the world, probably better and with more efficiency than any other system available. We are lucky to have contributors like you on Wikipedia. Best regards! पाटलिपुत्र Pat (talk) 12:30, 22 June 2020 (UTC)

- Thank you! I will try to find another image of the bowl among my collection. This image is part of the Ancient History Encyclopedia, although it is mine, I prefer another one to upload. By the way, call me Osama (I have nothing to hide or to fear!). Thank you for your awesome edits. Regards. Neuroforever ( talk) 12:49, 9 May 2019 (UTC)
Please take your concerns to the talk page of the articles or something instead of adding irrelevant images to several articles, thanks. -- HistoryofIran ( talk) 20:15, 8 April 2020 (UTC)
Dear Neuroforever. Would you by any chance have an image of the Lion Hunt Stela for Wikipedia? [2]. Best regards, and thank you for all of your wonderful contributions! पाटलिपुत्र Pat (talk) 07:14, 21 April 2020 (UTC)

Whoaaa! Would you ãlso by any chance also agree to offer your amazing photographs of the inscriptions on the statue of Entemena: [3] [4]. Best! पाटलिपुत्र Pat (talk) 07:44, 21 April 2020 (UTC)
I notice you just added a photograph of the tablet IM 67118 to the Babylonian mathematics article. Since Wikipedia has an article on that very tablet, would you consider adding the image to that article as well? I don't suppose you have a photograph of the reverse of the tablet also?
Your work is amazing! The image at CDLI is very poor in comparison—it's just a copy of the photograph in Baqir's original journal article. Do you work in some official capacity with the Museum or do you just take these photos as a visitor? Your IM 67118 photo is dated March 2019. Was it really taken just last year? If so, it's a relief to know that the tablet is still in the Museum's possession and proudly displayed. Will Orrick ( talk) 21:48, 24 May 2020 (UTC)
Dear Neuroforever! Would you by any chance have a photograph of the "empty" side of the Warka Vase (the left portion in this photograph
)? Altough I think I can reconstruct it by stitching two of your photographs... Best regards

Trying my luck again... The Vorderasiatisches Museum has some very nice Uruk-period cylinders with images of the Uruk king-priest in net-dress [10] [11]. Would you happen to have seen them? Best regards पाटलिपुत्र Pat (talk) 05:23, 29 May 2020 (UTC)

I am honoured to award to you the Order of Ashurbanipal, consisting in four rotating barnstars, for your outstanding contributions to Wikipedia. Each and every one of your photographs is an invaluable contribution to knowledge. Thank you! पाटलिपुत्र Pat (talk) 12:30, 22 June 2020 (UTC) |
Would you by any chance have a better version of this relief
, this relief
, this relief
and this relief
in the British Museum? And would have the full relief this detail
is taken from?

Dear Osama, I saw your wonderful picture of a large calcite vase of Pepi I from the Neues Museum. I think it is a great addition to the article on Pepi. As I am currently working toward making this article FA, I need a reference of some kind for the picture. Do you know of a book, journal article or website which mentions this vase ? Thanks for your help ! Iry-Hor ( talk) 12:10, 16 August 2020 (UTC)

Hi Neuroforever, I saw that you recently added images to Barda Balka, and that in general you add a lot of images on archaeological sites in Iraq (great work, by the way!). I was wondering whether you know the coordinates for the site? (and maybe some others as well?) Best, Zoeperkoe ( talk) 14:49, 17 August 2021 (UTC)
Hi. Thank you! I will try to specify this Barda Balka coordinates. But, I don't know how to add such a thing on/to the image. Regards. Osama Neuroforever ( talk) 20:14, 17 August 2021 (UTC)

Hello, Neuroforever,
Thank you for creating Kurdistan Music Archive.
I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:
Hey Neurforever, nice little article you got there! I tagged it because there is room for some improvement. The subject is indded of note but there are more sources you can use online to expand it. Consider also linking it somehow to the Erbil citadel article so it doesn't remain an orphan :( Happy editing!

Hello, Neuroforever, and welcome to Wikipedia. I edit here too, under the username Elias Ziade, and I thank you for your contributions.
I wanted to let you know, however, that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Exhibition of Miniature of Kurdistan Costumes, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Exhibition of Miniature of Kurdistan Costumes.
You might like to note that such discussions usually run for seven days and are not votes. And, our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.
If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Elias Ziade}}
. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~
. Thanks!

Hi @ पाटलिपुत्र:. I have created 3 pages/articles on wiki recently, and these are Erbil Stones and Gems Museum, Turkmen Heritage House, and Kurdistan Music Archive. It seems that they are of "borderline notability and few reliable sources". Can you please delete them as soon as possible? Thank you. Regards. Neuroforever ( talk) 19:00, 18 January 2023 (UTC)
I’m not out to get you or anything related to your background. Good day. el.ziade ( talkallam) 11:05, 24 January 2023 (UTC)
