AN/I can be quite a hectic place at times, but incredibly you managed to stay together in one piece the whole time. You are a really prolific editor Msnicki, don't let drama change peoples views on you as an editor! Cheers -- Acetotyce ( talk) 20:19, 6 September 2014 (UTC) |

Editor of the Week | |
Your ongoing efforts to improve the encyclopedia have not gone unnoticed: You have been selected as Editor of the Week for your determination and dedication to help the encyclopedia grow. Thank you for the great contributions! (courtesy of the Wikipedia Editor Retention Project) |
Editor Buster7 submitted the following nomination for Editor of the Week:
User Msnicki is an editor that values the importance of respect and appreciates the mutually pleasant work space that respect can create. An active editor since early 2011, she has almost 9000 edits and always uses the edit summary. She doesn't hold grudges and has been described as "clear eyed, consistent and even in tone" and someone that holds "keeping the Peace" in high regard. Her general area of interest seems to be computers and programming; areas of editing that are fraught with arguments and strife over sometimes trivial differences. I invite you to read some of the talk pages on articles Msnicki has worked on and notice the co-operative environment she creates with her fellow editors. Where others might "go on the attack" and increase the building tension, she negotiates from a position of understanding. She is a great example of what it takes to be a good Wikipedia editor. This nomination was seconded by User:MelanieN.

I saw your ping about an article about Nicole Hamilton. It does sound interesting and I would be willing to assist if you were to sandbox a biography of her in your userspace and ping me to look it over. I have autopatrolled rights on WP and could move it into article space once it is good enough to avoid the AfD crowd. I usually recommend people avoid AfC or draft space (where good draft articles go to die), just use your own space and do up a sandbox like this: User:Msnicki/Nicole Hamilton. Took a look at Draft:Nicole Hamilton and left a few comments on the top page. It looks to me like notability can probably be established for this individual, but they are going to need to find some additional third-party references that say so. The source is used to verify the data presented, but they don’t do anything to explain how important it is. Montanabw (talk) 18:29, 5 August 2021 (UTC)
Thanks for the thanks. Thank you kindly for the thank you notification, for my minor edits to the IBM ROMP article yesterday. Jerryobject ( talk) 01:31, 12 January 2022 (UTC)
