I don’t know where to start. I did not write the original article on Durdana Ansari. Many years ago she and I both worked at the BBC World Service. She is an Urdu speaker and English is her second language. She saw shortcomings in the article and contacted me to ask if I could improve it, because my written English is better than hers. I duly made the improvements and followed the instructions on removing the maintenance template. I have now been told this was disruptive editing. What is it about the article that makes you think it is written by someone who shouldn’t have written it? In what way is it PR? I continue to ask the above question. I have explained my involvement. There is only one of me. What is the problem?

I object to the expression disruptive editing. I have attempted to follow site guidelines throughout. Please see my Talk page where I seek further guidance. MonksCroft ( talk) 23:01, 5 May 2020 (UTC)
All I did was make the corrections I thought helpful and then followed the instructions on removing the template. It reappeared and I thought I must have made an editing error and followed the same procedure to remove it. I am told this is disruptive.
Please be kind. I’m human too. MonksCroft ( talk) 07:09, 6 May 2020 (UTC)

Please help me with... I have tried to tidy up the article on Durdana Ansari. I have been flagged as having a Conflict of Interest. I wish to state clearly that I have not been paid for this assistance. I am not employed by anyone - I have been retired for some years. I feel I have been treated with some hostility by Ohnoitsjamie, telling me I "don't get to remove" warning messages when in fact I followed the guidelines for doing so. To display for all to see that you think there is something amiss with the piece casts doubt on the integrity of the subject, and on me. Please rectify this unfounded slight.
I thought the whole idea of Wikipedia was to be helpful in sharing information. I have also contributed to the funding of the operation. I am very disappointed to be treated like this.

I’m sorry I am climbing the learning curve here. Help me was the only facility I had discovered at the time I used it. I have since found out how to reply to messages. I will now attempt to reply to the COI question. This is not easy when you’re new to it. MonksCroft ( talk) 06:10, 6 May 2020 (UTC)
